Rotation around a circle 3D preset ae6

Hello thanks for looking...

I'm playing with the3D revolve around a circle() preset in AE6 and if you notice that the feature browse Preset shows the 3D text close a loop... Yet, when I create a text layer, apply the predefined effect there is a gap at the end of my last word typed at the beginning of the word.

IE: Start of TV TV TV TV Bug Bug Bug Bug (space) of the TV Bug instead of looking like the preset browse presets. TV Bug in a circle full and spaced.

I hope it's meaning... I want the 'g' in Bug to be spaced as a circle of contiunued, so that the last 'g' to the bug should be in touch until the first "T" on television. As it is now I type out and apply the preset and there is a large space between the last 'g' in Bug and the first 't' on television.

What do I need mess with also, get the ends to respond?

I added some pictures to help describe:

The first is the preset

circle 3d.PNG

2nd is my challnege the ends don't meet not

tv bug.PNG

Thanks again

Select your text layer. Press UU to reveal all the properties that are not in their default settings. You'll quickly see that the key to this preset is a form of mask. Open the properties for mask shape and adjust the size of the mask to define the radius of the circle. Another option is to temporarily reset X rotation to 0 ° and then change the mask manually.

By pressing u twice, that's the best way to dissect a preset. It tells you instantly what is happening.

Come to think of it, you could have found a way to duplicate your unique textframe around a point (can do so via the transform effect and an additional element as a circle enclosing, after which the text can be disconnected scum once the effect is expanded) and used a different method to simply replace the contents of each text box in a selection...
But, anyway, this seems to work perfectly, check out my results!

  • How to position the elements around a circle at 15 deg increment

Hi, I paint a logo which, to an outside circle with 24 small circles positioned around the edge.  Each of the smaller circle has a letter 't' a point on the circle.  I need to set the small circles at the same distance each and each rotated 15 degrees around the great outer circle.

Someone at - it a technique it are willing to share?

    Thanks for your help

    • Create a large circle to determine the rotation
    • Create a small circle and place it at the top of the large circle
    • Create the letter T with the text tool and place it inside the small circle
    • Use the alignment tools to center the T in the small circle
    • Select the two layers (T and small circle) and then convert to smart object
    • Press alt-ctrl-t or opt-cmd-t to enter the mode of transformation for duplication
    • move the pivot point at the center of the large circle
    • Place the cursor just next to the small circle, then turn the circle at the location following (use the SHIFT key to constrain in 15 degree increments)
    • Click on the Enter key or return to confirm
    • Hold down the ctrl-alt-t or cmd-opt-t to repeat the rotation, then repeat this step again once and so forth until the small circle is all around the big circle.
    • Change the large circle to taste.

  • Wrap a dynamic object around a circle?

It is a detail of a current project for a group challenge.  The image provided is the door and steps, and you can see what theme I'm going with.  The entire guitar was built as illustrations of PS.  The strings are a dynamic object of four layers bent of the nut to the tuning pegs with deformation of the puppet, but I need to bend the strings around the ankles to look at as they were liquidated, and I am struggling to think of a solution?

A dynamic object in a dynamic object in a solution of the dynamic object with polar coordinates also seems possible.

  • Unequal distribution of the objects around a circle

    Hello

I am trying to find a way to distribute objects in a circle, but make it uneven. Well good, "uneven", because the objects begin to less frequently as they approach the top of the circle as the example shown. I don't know how to allocate the object, but I'm stumped on how to get there. Any ideas as to how this can be achieved? Mix and spine? Transformations?

In this case, manually. I used the rectangular grid tool to create a quick guide and placed circles while the smart guides have been turned on.

so after posting this I realized its essentially a Visual Guide what Jacob Bug wrote, - forgiveness Jacob.

If you want neat and pretty fast as noted above, id type actually text on a path of the ellipse as BarbBinder said:

mark the center point of the ellipse

THEN the outline of the text.

then draw a few lines from this point to Center through the letters you want to stretch (E in my example below).

and use the option of path finder "fracture" to cut through the line / letter.

Then use the center point, you did to rotate around your circle letters

then use the elipse tool now the option key pressed to draw from the Center and bring out the circle to coincide with the Directorates-General of the letter E,.

Use the balance to adjust as close as possible.

then add the anchor points with the pen tool +.

    and delete the unwanted parts

Use 'join' to join the sections to get them filled.

and refine the anchor points to perfectly align.

  • circle around objekts

build a precise circle objekt. no announcement just experience the exakt values and obtain a perfect result. the tool of transformation and copy and spent with (cmd + C + F + D, with 200 items you will get crazy) by hand is unprofessional. I could ' t get a result perfect and was a lot of time with trial and error. I try with effects-> :-(transformation and xy axes calculate the RADIUS for the counties of objects, try to find the point of law to the axis (could ' t enter with a number) and objects are running out of the circle. The last object is surprisingly at the exact starting point. What is the problem? Where can I enter the numbers regarding the axis xy to my object? Please could anyone professional Illustrator built a tool for this problem? I hope you understand my problem and I could get something. Danks!

    Yvonne,

If you want to have a certain number of objects spinning around in a circle, one way is to:

    (1) create a circle with its Center at the center of rotation and large enough to extend beyond the original object;

    ((2) to select and group the circle and the object and the effect > Distort & Transform > transform, then apply a rotation for the number of objects around the circle (360 divided by the total number, e.g. 360/200 = 1.8, you can simply insert 360/200)) and Copies a value less the total number (199 200 in total);

    (3) separate and remove the circles.

You can object > expand Appearnace and perhaps group, if you want to have individual objects instead of one with a separate effect.
