Routers Sagem Sky does not connect with Windows Vista. Help!
Sky Broadband have given me a new SAGEM router as my NETGEAR router broke. My netbooks running windows 7 connected instantly like having our phones. My laptop using Windows Vista and will connect but not communicate with the internet. After almost 3 hours on the phone with the sky and every procedure they have listed I was told by heaven that the problem is with VISTA is incompatible with the Sagem routers and they are unable to help her and I should find a solution through the windows. I don't quite see how to contact Windows by phone or e-mail in the United Kingdom despite the long navigation of this site! Can anyone help? Please?

It works for some programs, but not all.This applies to software programs, NOT hardware drivers.
If it's Vista compatible > uninstall it > Re-download/save to your desktop > right click on the setup.exe > run as admin.

Printer does not work with Windows Vista
My HP Deskjet2540 all in one printer will print with windows vista. Ive tried printing from excel, works and all I get is a blank sheet. Sometimes I get some very weak marks. I have a lot of ink, I uninstalled and reinstalled only to get the same result. However, I can print something on the internet and I can print a test page. I get no error message.

Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! I see when you print from Excel to your HP Deskjet 2540 printing comes empty or with very weak lines. You have a lot of ink, and you have no problem printing from other programs. You tried to uninstall and reinstall the software without success.
I would like to first you attempt to change the quality setting, you can have currently set to normal, we will try to print in optimized mode and see if that helps:
1. go to your Start Menu
2. go to your devices and printers
3. right click on your DJ 2540 and navigate to Printing Preferences
4. click on the paper/quality tab
5. Select the best mode
6. click on apply
Now try printing from Excel, you still get blank pages? Please let me know the results if you are still running into errors let me the following information:
1. What is your current operating system, Windows or Mac and what version?
2. What is the connected USB printer or wireless?
3. are there any exceptional computer upgrades that have not been installed?

Satellite Pro A200 - Fn keys does not work with Windows Vista

I own a Satellite Pro A200-PSAE7E and a license to retail for Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit Edition (with SP1) is installed.
Before installing Vista, I have updated the BIOS to the latest version available on the Toshiba site ([http://it.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/vista_drivers.jsp?service=IT]).
BIOS version is now 2.20 - WIN32 contained in this file: [http://support.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/bios-20080404121735.zip]After the installation of the operating system, I installed "Value package" ([http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/vap-20080109135106.zip]) that contains the "utility Flash Cards". In my understanding, the installation of the "value added package" should allow the use of Fn keys.
This doesn't seem to be true or not true.Here's what's happening.
-Prior to installation of the 'value-added' package, all Fn keys did not work.
-After installation of the "value added package", if the process of TCrdMain.exe is running, all Fn keys do not work.
-If I remove the startup TCrdMain.exe and I restart the PC, only a few keys Fn function (Fn + ESC, Fn + F1).There is no way (or I have not found a way) for all keys Fn works.
Someone knows how to fix this?

I am not sure, but it may be because of the SP1. I installed Vista Ultimate on A200 and stuff all listed (drivers, tools and utilities) from Toshiba support page.
Contains your Vista DVD facilities SP1 or you install on your own? If you install Vista Ultimate Edition (without SP1) and all the stuff on the Toshiba support site order Instructions of facilities.

If its virus issues, & the pc does not start, try to start the pc in safe mode, select normal mode, enter windows
like you administrator. Once, you may / can collect data/folders/files in a single folder, once through, move
folder on a CD-ROM or a dvd.
Also, on the old desktop win 10, try the removal running microsoft malicuos/malware software, download utility
to a pc running, move it to a cd, download the version win10, only here.

Windows live messenger does not work with Windows vista on the desktop but on laptop
I tried to remove and then reloading the whole windows live package. But windows vista is blocking windows live Messenger every time dang. These are the claims that it is closed by the DEP program. Why is it that if it is part of windows or a windows program? And why my computer laptop isn't a problem with it, but in my office? And I tried to add windows live messenger in the list of DEP programs, as indicated by the stupid help window and he ALWAYS breaks it. is - anyone has a SOLUTION? I really want to chat with my friends on my desktop and I can't do it directly from the website (which is annoying). I even downloaded the new version of messenger with the same results of DEP crash.

Thunderbird does not connect with the server
Another recent problem is Thunderbird does not connect with the server. I don't know if sent mail will go out, but I know I'm nothing receive. My internet connection works well for FF or another browser. I checked my settings and they seem OK. I checked the default settings in Win10x64 and they are correct. Any ideas?

Alternative installation methods
