  Hi, I wrote a SMS using JDE4.7 listener, the listener is in its own thread.  This runs in the simulators for 9530 (OS4.7), 8310 (OS4.5) and 8330 (OS4.3) seems to be very good.  However, when deploying on a live device, it seems work correctly for the 9530 (asbl, 4.7.0.75).

  I have attached the live 8310 (att, OS4.5.0.110) and 8330 (asbl, OS4.3.0.127) to my debugger, and when starting the listening thread, the connection.receive () method does not seem to hang at all, it returns immediately with a "String index out of range:-2" exception.  I have also compiled this same code under JDE4.3, which does not seem to make a difference.

  In which case it is important, the 9530 and 8330 are on BIS, the 8310 is on BES with rather strict policies.

  I tried both types of connections below, the two work very well for the 9530, but these two don't for curves. Any help would be appreciated, I've been hitting my head against the wall for the last 2 weeks trying to find a solution.

  I saw this, and I think that the exception that you receive is the result of a bug in the firewall application. He tries to instantiate a "Permissions" dialog box so that the user can approve the use of the SMS port.

  All sites work properly in Seamonkey, which I use once again, now. I went to oldapps download v. 22 of ff, but whatever the most recent update changed only came when I installed v.22. The problem persists. I could uninstall it completely and then new installation v.22, I guess, but I'm afraid that my browsing history, sessions, passwords, etc., would be affected, and I don't want to find all the files and support first. It's a hassle. Since the sites work in Seamonkey, I'm guessing that's not the fact that I have updated flash at the same time. I don't know how much these sites use flash, either. But if it's a problem of flash, I tell myself I should have the same problem in Seamonkey, and I did not.

  I wish that you guys would have an easy option to restore your updates because it's pretty darn annoying when they cause problems. Usually, they are not lethal problems, however, and the browser still works. Now ff does not work for some sites I use most often.

  Usually two webcams operate independently from each other and so I don t think that it is a webcam driver problem I think that it s windows or windows live messenger problem
  Maybe something confused keys registry or files may be some updates to update or similar

  In your case, I recommend you to uninstall the software of webcam software, internal external webcam and the windows live messenger.
  Then, you must clean the BONES and the registry tool like CCLeaner cleaning, for example. It the free tool.

  After this, reinstall the Chicony webcam software and test functionality without installation of windows live messenger.
  If the webcam will be functions then you could install the windows live messenger again.

  There is no newer driver for Windows 10 fingerprint sensor. It seems that the old driver is not compatible with the Windows 10 either. So, if the fingerprint work in previous windows, it's a matter of software with Windows 10.

  I had exactly the same problem - no changes known to the PC but the PC boots only at the stage just BEFORE the login or welcome screen.  Safe mode also did not work.

  I found a solution that worked for me from another forum (I remember credit what he can't do, but where it was!).  Sound essentially do a system restore manually.  The actual instructions seemed not completely correct for my machine, so you maybe a little wing.

  Start the PC with the CD of Win XP and enter the Recovery Console.

  then:

  CD.
  CD system ~ 1\_resto ~ 1

  This directory does not exist on my machine - I had to:
  CD "system volume information".
  CD "_restore {blah blah blah} - cant quite remember what he said, but it was pretty obvious.

  Continue down the tree until you find a whole bunch of files with a prefix of RP (RP100, RP101, etc.)
  CD in the second of the last folder RP

  then
  CD snapshot

  type:
  copy _registry_machine_system c:\windows\system32\config\system
  Copy _registry_machine_software c:\windows\system32\config\software

  exit the recovery console and restart.

  Then my machine booted up very happy...

  I went to the Device Manager. Rode to the previous setting, and after that I re-installed the latest drivers and it works for me.
