RTF model - loopback question Word

Here's my dilemma...

I'm entering my template like this XML data (this is just an example of dumbed down):

<? XML version = "1.0"? >

< LABEL_TEST >

< LIST_G_TEST >

< G_LABEL_HEADER >

< NUMBER > 1 < / NB >

< / G_LABEL_HEADER >

< G_LABEL_HEADER >

< NUMBER > 2 < / NB >

< / G_LABEL_HEADER >

< G_LABEL_HEADER >

< NUMBER > 3 < / NB >

< / G_LABEL_HEADER >

< G_LABEL_HEADER >

< NUMBER > 4 < / NB >

< / G_LABEL_HEADER >

< G_LABEL_HEADER >

< NUMBER > 5 < / NB >

< / G_LABEL_HEADER >

< G_LABEL_HEADER >

< NUMBER > 6 < / NB >

< / G_LABEL_HEADER >

< / LIST_G_TEST >

< / LABEL_TEST >

Please keep in mind that the actual data may have hundreds of files.

In my Word RTF model, I have a table with two columns, I need the data to fill in like this:

12
34
56

How can I use a loop in the table to fill the data correctly?

  • Keep lines together one. RTF model

    Hello

I built a. RTF model in plugin word BI. I have the model grouped by classes. On some leaves of course, the last line printed on the 2nd page. • Page number of reset in Word RTF model for the generation of PDF Editor BI

    Hello!
    Apex Oracle 10.2.0.4, BEEP 10.1.X 4.0.2

I was told to transfer this forum topic.

Bills are created based on the Word RTF with BI Publisher files. Resulting file is a large PDF file, that has a lot of pages.
Word RTF model is bundled in field BILLS.ID with the page break option. Thus, a BILLS.ID group can have one or several pages (according to the data).

How to create the model RTF (for generation of PDF BI Publisher) with reset page numbers when changing the value of consolidation.
Page numbers are at the bottom of the page in the format
    curr_group_page/total_group_pages
    where:
-curr_group_page is the number of the current page group (defined with the BILLS.ID field),
-total_group_pages is the total number of pages in a group (defined with the BILLS.ID field).

I need to reset the numbering at each change of BILLS.ID (Group).
    Example:
    ID = 1 (4 pages)
    1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4
    ID = 2 (1 pages)
    1/1
    ID = 3 (2 pages)
    1/2, 2/2
    ID = 4 (3 pages)
    1/3, 2/3, 3/3
    etc.

How to achieve this type of numbering?

    Any help appreciated.

    Kind regards

  • Problem with RTF model with columns > 63

    Hello

We use the XML editor in Oracle EBS 12.1.3.

I have a relationship with more than 100 columns, for which I created an RTF model with going out to Excel. I fell on the boundary of Word of 63 columns in a table. To get around it, I created a table with 2 columns and each column insert a table of columns about 58.

Well, it seems to work 90% of the time. But at the end of the excel sheet the last 20 or if data lines have sometimes 58 columns in the column in the external table empty. The second cell of the outer table is a large cell empty.

The issue seems to occur when there is a lot of data in the report. If I run the report on specific lines containing questions the data is displayed correctly.

Everyone has faced something like this? Or have any ideas on how to debug what is happening?

    Thank you

Hopefully the new XSL - FO model is selected in the Options tab, when you submit the request. Output XML code usually means - an error (if the program terminates with an error) or the mapping of model not done correctly (if completed normally).

It seems that the problem is with the working directory of the BIP Office.

If you have administrator access to the computer, please do the following:
    1 Windows-> Run-> regedit
    2. find the value of the next entry
    Publisher\Template HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Oracle\XML for Word\TB_WORK_DIR generator

  • Convert model XSL - FO to RTF model

The report layout I create has strict size requirements (for example, page margins, size of cells and so on).
I created a simple model of the RTF using MS Word. RTF model meets the requirements of this size, but when I print my report using Acrobat Reader report seems different.
I know that this happens because when executing BI Publisher report to XSL - FO automatically converts XSL - FO and only after that, he makes pdf.

In order to meet the requirements of thissize I converted my RTF model in XSL - FO stylesheet using Model Designer and changed the appropriate cells and margins etc. manually.
And everything works fine, but now I know that there will be a lot of changes in the presentation of this report (e.g. several complex tables will be added).
He left is difficult to me to create tables in XSL - FO. And so my question is

HOW CAN I CONVERT MY STYLESHEET XSL - FO IN RTF WITH ALL LOGIC HE HAS?

  • RTF model error: compilation in the hidden module error.

I use MS Word 2007 to change my rtf models.
After installing the patch PS2 for MS Office I can't edit the rtf models more.
When I try to edit any field in the model I get a message box with the 'Microsoft Visual Basic' header and the message "compilation in the hidden module error: Module_editFF.
I noticed that the BI Publisher tab is no longer visible in the toolbar. I uninstalled the add-on and reinstalled again, the question remains.
    Any help will be appreciated.

If you do not see the BI Publisher tab, then go to MS Word-> Word Options-> Add - ins-> manage-> select Add-ins Word and make so that the "Templatebuilder.dot", TBCrosstab.dot etc. are checked.

  • Stuck in the BI Publisher rtf model for Apex report

Hi, I work on Express 4.2.3.00.08 and oracle database 11 g application.

I stuck in the BI Publisher RTF model.

I want to create a BI Publisher Apex report.

Question is.... have several activities and several Notes to a significant number.

Not sure how to put repeating frame so that all corresponding activities and corresponding notes are a major number without repeating.

Each main number arrive on a page, see the snapshot below.

I have attached my rtf model snapshot too.

I'll be really grateful for your help.

Thank you very much in advance

    Untitled.jpg

    Untitled2.jpg

I think your results will have 1102 pages (one page separated by major) for all major XML data?

You must use @section. so your for each should be as below

and remove the page break before for each end.

If you can share the email I can send the updated model.

  • Problems with highlighting of the rows of the table through RTF-model

    Hello!

Peace im new in the world of BI Publisher. For the moment, I try to create and RTF-model with the Office AddIn for Word Bi-editeur (2010). I want to create a table based on a table of a pdf document existing already. I have all the data in the right format and order and just worked fine - until I wanted to change the background color of some specific lines.
If I add that a statement such as

    <? If: Variable = "Expressionstring?" > <? attribute@InContext:background-color;' #FFFF80 '? > <? end if? >

the context of the evolution of the entry. But the fact the line height. It develops. The expressions more that I use more it grows. That of not good, because the table is so great that it only fits on a single page with fine lines... I tried to apply a height specified in the line through the word, but it does not work.
I searched a couple hours and still didn't find anything regarding this problem. I appreciate any ideas how to solve this problem.

To help those who have a similar problem: it's just like sfr.farhan.fani wrote. I try to give you a general expression:

<? If@row:ROWNAME=VALUE? > (this should work with = > etc do not forget the ' ' for strings etc..)

    < xsl: attribute name = 'background-color' xdofo:ctx = 'incontext' > lightgray < / xsl: attribute > (lightgray can be changed to hexa% and %valeurs)

    <? end if? >

  • RTF model: If condition to test the XML tag exists only on the current XML node

    Hello

I have a RICH model based on an XML file as follows:
    + < invoice > +.
    + < InvoiceNum >... < / InvoiceNum > +.
    + < ShipAddress >... < / ShipAddress > +.
    + < order > +.
    + < OrderNum >... < / OrderNum > +.
    + < ShipAddress >... < / ShipAddress > +.
    + < / order > +.
    + < order > +.
    + < OrderNum >... < / OrderNum > +.
    + < ShipAddress >... < / ShipAddress > +.
    + < / order > +.
    + < / invoice > +.

As you can see, the tag * < ShipAddress > * there are two
    -Sub * < invoice > * = > global shipping address
-Sub * < Order > * = > shipping address to you for Sales Order

In an XML file, I can only have < ShipAddress > at a certain level, for example
-the tag * < invoice > < ShipAddress > * appear in XML that if we have a unique address for the invoice
-the tag * < order > < ShipAddress > * appear in XML that if we have more than one address for the invoice

Logically, in my RTF model, I want to print the address of delivery at the level if one header tag * < invoice > < ShipAddress > * is in XML format.
I tried a lot of syntax If but none works according to the needs:
    + <? If.: / ShipAddress? > + = > always returns FALSE
    + <? If: / / ShipAddress? > = > returns TRUE when < order > < ShipAddress > exists
    + <? If: ShipAddress? > = > returns TRUE when < order > < ShipAddress > exists

The only syntax that seems to work is:
    + <? If: / / Bill/ShipAddress? > +.
But I prefer not not hardocde the name of the top-level tag.

    Question:
What si syntax to test the existence of a XML tag only in the current node (recursively)?

Thanks in advance for helping me.

  • Conditional formatting in the RTF models

    Hello

I'll just with the design of rtf models. I have a question about the function of conditional formatting. It comes

IF I have different types of customers(corporate,individual,etc..) passed as parameters, can, a particular cell be formatted with different colors for different customers. for example, if the setting is undertaken client the the color of a particular cell should be RED in color, and if the parameter is the color of the cell must be GREEN in color.

    Please help me with this.

    Thanks in advance

Yes, you can conditionally format individual cells.

Take a look at the guide (link provided) and looking for 'highlighting of cells:

  • With regard to the RTF model: enter the commands in your RTF model

    Hi all

I read the Oracle Documentation saying: "entry of the orders in your RTF model."

I tried to look at this one, I have a requirement.

Really how can I enter the commands in RTF model. I didn't get this one a lot.

Any help is very appreciated as always :)

    Thank you
    Xavier

Well, my OPE user's guide did not have the mentioned pages but I watched this guide: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12844_01/doc/bip.1013/e12188.pdf

and given the documents, you need just to include controls in a form field in the foreach loop for the element you want to split the document by... You could insert a form field and then double-click the field, go to the properties of Word-> add-> the status bar help text and change the code following the instructions in the guide.

    Hope that helps.
