  Because it appears first has problems with capture - at least for me, but as I see it for others as well - and I can capture with iMovie, I take it with Final Cut Pro for capture - cross for Adobe Premiere and the suite for editing, then finalized? Or is it a problem to copy the photos/files from one program to the other (they would be clearly identified if I could just import first shots later?)

  Hi Rob,

  When you are capturing HDV into FCP, it creates a specific Apple HDV codec. It is a codec that is not available unless the FCC, movement or compressor is installed.

  Two solutions of workaround would be to use Premiere Pro on Mac with above mentioned applications on the same system or convert a codec which can be read in first.

  HP Officejet 6500 wireless on 2 net local machine, one machine is Win 7, the other is Win XP. Print, copy and fax problems but does not scan using the full software and driver package version 13 (with the patch to win7). In accordance with the instructions on the HP site, I went through the steps to solve the problems and instructions (step 5) say to make sure that a list of files is in agreement with the firewall. It seems that 2 of these files are AWOL; hpqscnvw.exe and hpqthb08.exe are not on my machine.

  This forum search tells me that this scanner works do not is a well known problem. Everyone imagined something new, or should I go for a refund of my money?

  Hello. My PC is not a FireWire device because the FireWire card does not fit after I installed 2 video cards for crossfire, so the way to there, to capture video with my camera HD is on my Mac via FireWire. The problem is that video files captured on

  Mac do not work in Windows. My ideal configuration is one where I use the Mac simply to capture, and I say video programs like QuickTime or iMovie, to record the video captured on my pc (because my pc and Mac are connected via Ethernet). However, how can I enter in a way that makes the windows-compatible video files, without recourse to having to convert the videos every time? If I install first items in my Mac, will be able to capture in a way that makes the videos compatible with premiere elements on my PC?

  I had the same problem when my old ant crashed the laptop a new was not equipped with firewire.

  As I use Elements I installed the software on 2 computers: my iMac and my Windows PC.

  It's perfectly legal, you can have the software on 2 personal equipment if you do not use at the

  same time (it's an installation DVD in my case) with a single license.

  When I capture on MAC with Premiere Elements, mpg files are created. You can use them to clip PC editing.

  In some cases I use iMovie to capture software natively time code splitting, that you can not with

  Elements with HDV footage. In this case, I need to convert files (with MPEG Streamclip) to be able to change

  with other software.

  ATR: it is a classic in Mac environment, because problem as the MPEG2 codec is not natively installed on the system,

  for the sake of license. You can buy an add-on (component MPEG2 Quicktime for Mac) on the apple store to be able to read MPEG2

  format QuickTime or iMovie, but it does not allow to write in this format. Apple has specific format used for HDV formats

  capture (a kind of extended MPEG2) in order to have the modification of the file with the HDV participation with iMovie.

  Hi and thanks for the valuable resources on this forum.

  I'm analog video capture in first Pro CS5 it using the shuttle Blackmagic intensity (with corrector time basis in the path of the video).  My shots are stopped at 54 or 55 minutes when the computer becomes inadmissible.  What happened with the codec Blackmagic movement as well as jpeg YUV 10 bit capture. Same thing if I capture with express media (blackmagic capture software)

  I tweaked my system according to the many recommendations in the forum.

  Running CS5 5.03, backup 10 minutes automatic (same problem without automatic recording or automatic check in at 20 minutes)

  Windows 7 64 bit fully up-to-date

  I7 - 930 cpu

  Gigabyte x58A - UDP5 (revision 1)

  24 GB Ram

  NVIDIA 470 - MSI twin Frozr cooling solution.

  Restore off, windows search indexing

  Followed advice from the forum and Viper about optimization system

  3 hard drives

  System on standard Sata 2 drive

  The capture of SSD drive from OCZ Vertex 3 120 g (beautiful piece of gear) of the project currently running on the Sata 3 controller

  Pagefile on another hard drive

  Uninstalled Norton 360

  Anything else I could find uninstalled or disabled.

  Firmware and latest drivers for USB of the Station pilot as recommended by Blackmagic.

  Capture of the very successful things less than 55 minutes, but I have things any longer I would like to capture at once.

  I used process Explorer to watch what is happening.  Nothing special that I can identify in terms of process, but cpu seems to be 100%.

  With the progressive settings problems remain the same.

  I'm not aware of any limit of size of file with Premiere Pro or Blackmagic - is there some?

  Whereas reinstall but would be grateful to all points of view.  My first post so I hope that I have provided good info to help me help you.
