Rude shutdown of Windows Vista for updates

My Windows Vista of despots in and stops for the whenevern updates he wishes.  It has been set to do so automatically at 3:00 when I SLEEP.  With the help of this time slot was not rude at all.  Instead, he waits until I am involved with work or in the middle of a game to close and delete my efforts.  Although this behavior in deca waterboarding still could be considered by the CIA for inclusion in its arsonal.  Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Hi petersbcl,

Please provide us with the information below:

·         Which edition and the version of windows you have installed on your computer?

·         You can specify other parameters you have set for Windows update?

·         You are the administrator of the computer?

Windows Update will remind you if you have to restart your PC to continue the installation of an update and you give the option to "reboot now" or will give you the option to postpone the restart. If you are away from your PC for a long period of time, you can see that it automatically restarts your PC. Windows does to make sure all the latest security and other updates are applied in a timely, to help keep your PC safer with little effort for you.

I suggest you to check the recommended settings for windows update.
