Run the PL/SQL using the create default.

I created an application and everyting with works very well.

I have a page where I create a work order. It is saved by using the default create a button.

What I want to do now is, when I record I want to execute some PL/SQL, so essentially kick off another process.

Is this possible? How is it then.

James

You need create a PL/SQL process that is triggered by the button. You do not add the procedure for the button itself.

So a simple example would be to add a process of type PL/SQL page (in the middle of the page definition column) and condition on CREATE being pressed. Make sure that the sequence of the process number is correct (you want that to happen before or after the default created processes you already have).

  • Creating a PL/SQL procedure to run the following code but the landing upwards errors!

    Hey all!

This is my first time with PL/SQL. I created the following procedure to load a major part of the update instructions at the same time to read the DB performance. I need to print a sysdate timestamp before and after the load so that I can know how long it takes for the DB update prescribed lines. I gave 100 lines initially and will keep changing. When I run this code, I came across some errors. Could you please help me with it.

In addition to the other reviews, and apart from the quality of the code, you should really (really!) learn how to format your code for better "read-ability.  This will also contribute to a better quality.  If you are unsure how to format, then use a development as a SQL developer tool.  It will not format "as you type", but a frequent use of the shortened format keyboard (Ctrl + F7 in SQL Dev) will keep your code readable and coherent.

And then you learn to keep this format when you post on the forum.

  • Is it possible to run the query created in Discoverer Plus (v10) from PL/SQL

    Hello

As a subject - is it possible to create a PL/SQL code (or any other), who runs a query saved in Discoverer?

    Concerning
    Piotr

    Hello

This table is not part of the discoverer EUL and is probably maintained by a trigger of discoverer. The trigger can save the SQL used in the workbook in a custom table when the workbook is run. This is why the table will contain the last SQL for all workbooks that have been executed. It may be what you want but does not contain the last SQL for all workbooks.

  • Cannot run the computer virtual created using converter on Windows Server 2003

Thus, in preparing to begin to make the trip fully virtualized server infrastructure that we take the step of baby from the conversion of a print server must be on the virtual world.

I made use of VMWare Converter (5.0.1 or whatever the latest version is) on the box. This is a Windows 2003 Server R2, Standard Edition. Again, all made of this box is for a work of print server. I just wanted to see if using the converter on the machine would work.

The conversion process took place without a hitch and the files created from it have been moved to the server in question. Thus, in Fusion, I try to open the said. VMX associted with the new converted file server and I have hit with:

VMware Fusion cannot connect to the virtual machine. Make sure that you have the rights to run the program, access to all directories of the program uses and access all directories for temporary files.

So, I assumed that it was strictly a permissions problem. I used and checked the 'Info' to the parent directory section and apply permissions to the included items. All permissions wise, seems to be as it should and yet it is the same error each time.

So, I guess I'm just not sure why it did not work. My only experience with converter has so far been on desktop computers, and they have always worked without problem in Fusion.

BTW have you tried to uninstall/reinstall VMware Fusion and reboot after each even if not invited?  Note that VMware Fusion of uninstalling/reinstalling does not remove Virtual Machines.

  • Run the custom .js file of defaults\pref

Is it possible to either FF A) have run a .js file custom simple that I created which is located in the directory defaults\pref (each run FF), or B) add a few lines of javascript in the local file - settings.js?
I tried, but it didn't work, so I don't know if it is still possible.

    Thank you.

To run JavaScript with permissions of chrome you will need to add this code in the mozilla.cfg file that you specify for use via the local file - settings.js.

  • Run the same synchronization project at a stage of DPRProjection using different workflows

    Hi all

In the synchronization Editor, I have a project with 2 workflow.

I run the synchronization in a stage of the process, and then I change with a step of sql query the workflow attached to it to run the synchronization even with a different workflow.

    request to change the workflow:

Value = "update DPRProjectionStartInfo set UID_DPRProjectionConfig = (select UID_DPRProjectionConfig from the DPRProjectionConfig where DisplayName = 'Workflow 2') where DisplayName ="SynchProject"

but when I run the second sync I get this error:

Error messages [2134003] = error executing a screening complete!
[1777018] error running workflow (ITS Application Portfolio import) of the project of synchronization (synchronization Costa).
Invalid revision store [1777263]. The store belongs to a different configuration of the synchronization and can not be used!

I missed something. Should I update another table with the workflow to use?

Is not possible to programmatically determine what workflow performed in a stage of the process?

Forget the attempt to update the startup configuration when you deal with enforcement.

Create a second configuration of starting with your second workflow instead which is not an affected grid.

In your process chain, have two step run the FullProjection. One runs the startup configuration 1, the other a startup configuration 2.

  • How to use FOLLOW-UP and COMPRESS the clause of the CREATE statement TABLE?

After you create this table, I ask USER_TABLES, but the value of the follow-up column is YES.

I think there should be no how is? and also I have the same problem with the COMPRESS.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

Heap - organized tables are your usual routine tables. It is created using the BUNCH of the ORGANIZATION of the CREATE TABLE statement clause. This is the default value.

The other variant of this clause is ORGANIZATION INDEX, which means that you will create an organized Index of Table. In other words, it is a table that is stored in a B-tree, like an index.

You also have an EXTERNAL BODY, which means that you will create an external table. Here is generally flat files outside of the database that you can order the database to see tabular to use SQL (read only) against. You will also need the settings on how the data are presented on the file, so that your database knows which column will match that of the data.

The COMPRESS on 10G is known as the "basic compression" and it works on ordinary table segment blocks, which are organized by a bunch of tables.

  • Run the SQL handler

Hi, I want to extract a USR table attribute value using the SQL of the event handler. I don't want to use api userManager for some reason any.

for example I want to run the query to the event handler below.

    Select usr_password from USR where usr_login = '< loginId >.

Please let me how to do that I need to first create the JDBC connection, then write the query (the traditional JDBC coding) or there are some api, from where we can get the instance of a 10g database, there was tcDataProvider.

Then we can run any question.

An example of code will be useful.

    Thanks in advance.

    String query = "write the sql query";

    Connection con = Platform.getOperationalDS () .getConnection ();

Statement st = con.prepareStatement (query);    PreparedStatement is better instead of the statement

    ResultSet rs = st.executeQuery ();

    While (RS. Next())

    String userlogin milkey = rs. String ("usr_login");

you will not get usr_password to plain text (it will be encrypted) but you can decrypt

I had been struggling with the same problem for 2 days. You run the script as sysdba, how do you get the error then insufficient? I did my first test GG in February. I've been on 11.2.0.3 + patch January + patch for the integrated capture. It has worked well for me. I went back to my GG test week with 11.2.0.3 + patch of July last and ran into the same problem. The solution for me was the last version of GG. See my previous post for the patch numbers.

When I run the level the lowest and second lowest level inline queries statements, which consists of a select field of data and functions, there is no error and capable of generating the result.

But when I run the statement which refer to the alias of queries inline (STD, getCL), it prompted an error ORA-00979 not a group by expression. This happened only Oracle 11.2.0.3. If I run the statement in another version of Oracle (11 GR 1 material and below), I am able to generate the result.

Please advice how can I fix this problem.

It seems that this should be the "SAMPLE" TO_CHAR conversions "" SAMPLEDT ".

You seem to be willing to cut the time part of SAMPLEDT. The best way to do so is TRUNC (SAMPLEDT).

In each of the groups of clauses, replace TO_CHAR ('SAMPLE'. ("' SAMPLEDT ', 'dd-Mon-yyyy') with TRUNC ('SAMPLE'. (' "SAMPLEDT") and completely remove the TO_CHAR ('SAMPLE'. ("' SAMPLEDT ',"dd-mm-rrrr") in the last group of.

    Replace in selection lists, TO_CHAR ('SAMPLE'. ("' SAMPLEDT ', 'dd-Mon-yyyy') with TO_CHAR (TRUNC ('SAMPLE'. ((' ' SAMPLEDT '), 'dd-Mon-yyyy') and replace TO_CHAR ("SAMPLE". "SAMPLEDT", "dd-mm-rrrr") with TO_CHAR (TRUNC ("SAMPLE" ".")) " "" "SAMPLEDT"), "dd-mm-rrrr").

These changes can take you the ORA-00979 not one group by expression.

Also the date manipulation is wrong — you do implicit conversions to date using default formats, when what you seem to want is to truncate the time part. Instead of

     TO_DATE(TO_CHAR(SAMPLE.SAMPLEDT,'dd-mon-yyyy')) BETWEEN TO_DATE(TO_CHAR
            (:StartDate,'dd-Mon-RRRR')) AND TO_DATE(TO_CHAR(:StartDate,
            'dd-Mon-RRRR')) + 6

    use

     TRUNC(SAMPLE.SAMPLEDT) BETWEEN TRUNC(:StartDate) AND TRUNC(:StartDate) + 6

    I hope this helps.

  • ' Run the Scripts of "give a problem to create the domain portal

    Hi all.

I'm new to weblogic portal development. Was trying to create my basic example of portal in weblogic_portal_10.3.4 with the help of the documentation. I get by running scripts when I was creating the field. I followed the procedure below please help me if you find any problem with my steps.

    1. downloaded and installed Weblogic_Portal_10.3.4 in my environment of windows 7.

    2. start eclipse for weblogic portal.

3 open prospective portal in eclipse.

    4. click on the Server tab and selected 'Oracle WebLogic Server 11 GR 1 material (10.3.4)'

    5 open "Domain Configuration Wizard"

6 selected the option button "create a new Weblogic domain.

    7. in the next screen to "generate an automatically configured domain to take in charge the following products.

selected radio button "Weblogic Portal 10.3.4"

    8. in the next screen given DomainName

    9. the next screen provided that the password/confirm password for the administrator user

    10. in the next screen select JRocket SDK and development_mode for my domain.

    11. in the next screen just left all the default configurations for data sources. (not the data source is selected in their boxes)

    12. in the screen following just clicked the button 'Next' and 'OK' on my popup

    13. in this screen "p13nDataSource" is selected on my top left area of the window, all 3 SQL files are selected for data loading.
Clicked on * "run the script."

At this point, I get an error saying: "60839-CFGFWK: database Load Failed!

    CFGFWK-60839: database load failed!

Please help me if you find any problem with the steps I took to create my weblogic_portal_domain.

I followed the steps mentioned in the: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15919_01/wlp.1032/e14252.pdf to create my domain name to start the development of portal.

Those are the WLP 10.3.2 instructions. But the 10.3.4 instructions in the tutorial (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E26806_01/wlp.1034/e14252/setup_dev_env.htm#i1014619) are bad, too.

In 10.3.4 with derby, Run the Scripts doesn't work; He still needs to work the other database (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). Instead, for the derby, just create the field, accepting any dialog boxes warning on databases that arise. After that finish in the field directory, run create_db.cmd (for Windows) or create_db.sh (on * nix and Mac). It should create the derby database files in the field and includes everything you need.

I'll send a note to get the updated documentation.

  • Run the report to PL/SQL with the branch to another page

I have an application which, at various times, I run a PL/SQL procedure to perform an action, and then we must run a report while also navigating away from the current page. The actions are performed on a button click.

I tried several methods, but for the life of me cannot get the system to do the two things (ie. run the report and the direction to another page). I tried to put in page 0 (to be executed after the treatment on the click of a button) a branch with a request line to print the report, followed by a branch to the other page (also to run after the treatment on the button click) - and only the branch page 0 runs in fact. Also tried a branch to the other page only, with the print in the request parameter request - but only runs the report, do not create a branch to the other page.

I also tried to put the call to run the report in the PL/SQL code, using utl_http.start_request (url), but that came with a "Bad Request" error. Also tried to use the owa_util.redirect_url call, but also no chance.

I'm pulling my hair out at this time, especially because I am under pressure to get the system in very short time.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    You can run queries report of their URL (f? p = & APP_ID.: 0: & SESSION.: PRINT_REPORT =)

So one approach would be to
The button click, call a JS function which

  • 1 use the Ondemand/recall process in order to perform the processing workflow (file selection box)
  • 2 open the report in a popup (from your IR page)
  • 3 redirect leaves the IR page to another page?
    ------
    Another approach:
  • 1. IR report submits the page
  • 2. in the PLSQL block, you do the treatment

  • Using the 'current default values do' as a control on the front panel

    Hello

I'm building a VI that uses a lot of digital controls. I want to use "do current default values" as a control Boolean on the front panel for the user.

Is it possible to implement when the program is running? What would be an alternative, if this was not possible?

    Thank you

    Mhaque
