Running totals of calculation when adding pages

http://www.funkylogic.co.UK/equity.PDF

In a nutshell what I want to achieve is the following: a cleint can own several properties and have different percentages on each. Each property has another page of questions (the PDF above is this page). The first part of the equation is to calculate the total of the equity in the property (TotEquity) upwards and then by the percentage holding (TotInterest), work on the participation of people for this property (TotalB). The form has the option to tell us another property (addInstance), and then we have a second page with its own calculations and a new TotalB. This TotalB would become a total race for all pages added. Please can someone help?

Hello

Here is a version of the form: https://acrobat.com/#d=b * 01ko6g2gn8Jqns9D1Hhg

It shows how to loop through the instances of Page1. It doesn't seem to work properly (by me anyway). I'm not convinced the multiplication of two values in the script.

If all goes well, it will give you a direction.

A number of things: I am not inclined to name with a big 'P' pages (Master pages are "Page1"), I tend to pages design name as "page1". The font you use adds to the size of the file. Something like Myriad Pro is much smaller.

  • Changing the zoom when adding pages settings

    Hello

    When you add a page to a document with this code:

    app.activeDocument.pages.add(LocationOptions.AT_END);

    InDesign automatically returns the zoom setting to FIT_TO_PAGE

    Is there a way to avoid this?

    I would that he should stay on whatever it is.

    Help will be very appreciated!

    Thank you

    Hi csm_phil

    Thanks for your response!

    Happens to me to come to discover that!

    I wrote this code:

    currentZoom = theDoc.layoutWindows[0].zoomPercentage;
    theDoc.pages.add(LocationOptions.AT_END);
    theDoc.layoutWindows[0].zoomPercentage = currentZoom;

    I have 2 questions now:

    (1) is there a difference between what I wrote "layoutWindows [0]" and you wrote ' windows [0]?

    (2) even if this is not enough, is it possible to prevent it from happening?

    The reason why I ask is because in a script that adds a lot of pages, (for example, the MultiPageImporter script), the script needs to do after the addition of each page.

    If there is a parameter lock or something like that, it would be much more sufficient.

    Thanks again!

  • JavaScript in "Run when the page loads", works not when paginating the results grid

    I have some Javascript in a page of the Apex, running in "run when the page loads. There is stuff to a grid of results. It works fine on the loading of the page, but then does not work when I paginate (Browse), or sort the grid. I assume that this is because the grid is sorted / paged using Ajax, which means that the page is not fully loaded.

    Is there anywhere else I can put the code, so it is applied to the grid on the kinds and paging?

    Yes you are right when you paginate it doesn't reload the page (at least in this case).

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] Call ExecuteWithParams operations programmatically when the page is loaded. How...?

    Hallo,

    in a working group, I have a 'readonly' page that uses in many istances VO (for fields, tables,...).

    When the page is loaded, I need to call its ExecuteWithParams operation for each VO.

    I would drag / drop (cascading) the operation of each VO ExecuteWithParams in the workflow, but the problem is that I need to run logic to call.

    For example, I have some cases in which I have to exec VO, and then pass the value of a field in the returned to the VO ExecuteWithParams, another record.

    I guess I can't manage this 'declarative' in the taskflow but I use code in a managed bean.

    So far, I've added for each VO ExecuteWithParams action page links.

    I know I can use a code like this to call the ExecuteWithParams for each VO...

    OperationBinding operationBinding = BindingsUtils.getBindings().getOperationBinding("ExecuteWithParamsToCall");
    operationBinding.getParamsMap().putAll(paramsMap);
    Object result = operationBinding.execute();
    if (!operationBinding.getErrors().isEmpty()) {
      return false;
      }

    ... but the problem is... where and when I call?

    I wrote in the managed bean extended view a public function initPage() tha called the ExecuteWithParams.

    How to use this function?

    I can use it during the lazy fo page load?

    Can I use it as a method call to place in the working group before the page? I have to admit that I already tried that way, but it did not work...

    In addition, after calling a VO ExecuteWithParams, as I said before, I may have the need to treat the VO after his execution to gather values for some fields (I'll pass these values to the other VO ExecuteWithParams).

    Can I access the iterator from the bean by using the iterator binding?

    Thank you very much

    Federico

    Instead, I have to create it in the the methodCall1 pageDef?

    Yes

    And if methodCall1 calls - as in my case - the function of a bean that uses the ExecuteWithParams many istances VO... I create all the necessary links in the methodCall1 pageDef?

    Yes

    And Yes... Links ExecuteWithParams that I created in the page untitled1 aren't necessary?

Wait until the operation is complete, then exit FROM and return to the main menu. Select restart from the Apple menu.

    Restart your computer normally and see if it helped at all. Then do little maintenance:

    For disk utility can't handle situations, the best third party is Disk Warriorutility;  Fixed DW only for problems with the disk directory, but most disk problems are caused by the corruption of directory; Warrior drive 4.x is now compatible with Intel Mac.

    Note: Alsoft ships DW on a bootable DVD that will boot Mac running Snow Leopard or earlier. He cannot start Mac that came with Lion or later preinstalled, however, DW will work on these models.

    Suggestions for OS X maintenance

    OS X performs certain maintenance functions that are supposed to take place on a daily, weekly, or monthly period. Maintenance scripts that are run at the beginning AM only if the computer is turned on 24/7 (no sleep). If this isn't the case, then a great solution is to download and install a shareware like Macaroni, JAW PseudoAnacronor Anacron utility that will automate the maintenance regardless of whether activity if the computer is off or asleep.  Dependence on third-party utilities to run periodic maintenance scripts has been significantly reduced since Tiger.  These utilities have little or no functionality with Snow Leopard or later version, and must not be installed.

    OS X automatically defrags files smaller than 20 MB in size, so unless you have a disk full of very large files it little need to defragment the hard drive.

    Under no circumstances should you install operating MacPaw or ZeoBit software (CleanMyMac/CleanMyDrive or Mac Keeper, respectively.) You don't need special software to keep your computer.

    Difficulty a few pop ups browser that supported Safari

    Common pop - ups include a message saying that the Government has taken over your computer and you pay release (often called "Moneypak"), or a false message saying that your computer has been infected and you need to call a number of tech support (sometimes claiming to be Apple) to get it to be resolved. First of all, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and that your computer has not been assigned. This "hack" is limited to your web browser. Also understand that these messages are scams, so don't pay not money, call number, or provide personal information. This article will give an overview of the solution to remove the pop-up window.

    Quit Safari

    Usually, these pop-ups will not go by clicking 'OK' or 'Cancel '. In addition, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in grey, including the option to leave Safari. You'll probably force quit Safari. To do this, press command + option + ESC, select Safari, press on force quit.

    Relaunch Safari

    If you restart Safari, the page will reopen. To avoid this, hold the "Shift" key when opening Safari. This will prevent windows since the last time that Safari was running since the reopening.

    It will not work in all cases. The SHIFT key must be maintained at the right time, and in some cases, even if done correctly, the window is displayed again. In these circumstances, after force quit Safari, turn off Wi - Fi or disconnect Ethernet, depending on how you connect to the Internet. Then restart Safari normally. He'll try to reload the malicious Web page, but without a connection, it will not be able to. Leave this page by entering a different URL, i.e. www.apple.com and try to load it. Now you can reconnect to the Internet and the page that you entered is displayed rather than the malicious.

    Troubleshooting Applications

    I recommend that you download a utility such as TinkerTool System, OnyX, Mavericks Cache Cleaneror hiding a Cocktail that you can use to delete the former newspapers and archives, cleaning, etc. Corrupted cache, logs or temporary files can slow down the application or OS X crashes and panics of the kernel.

    If you have leopard snow or leopard, then for similar repairs install Applejackfreeware utility.  If you do not start in OS X, you can boot into single-user mode , where you can run Applejack to make a set of routines for repair and maintenance of the command line.  Note that it takes 1.5 AppleJack for Leopard. AppleJack 1.6 is compatible with Snow Leopard. Applejack does not work with Lion and later versions.

    Basic backup

    For some people, Time Machine will be more than enough. Time Machine is part of Mac OS X. There are two components:

    1. a panel of Time Machine preferences as part of the system of preferences;

    2. a request for Time Machine, located in the Applications folder. It's

    used to manage backups and restore backups. Time Machine

    requires a backup drive that is at least twice the capacity of the

    drive being backed up.

    You can also get an external drive at least equal to the size hard disk internal and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. You can make a bootable clone using the disk utility's restore option. You can also create and maintain clones with good backup software. My personal recommendations are (the order is not significant):

    1 Carbon Copy clone

    2. get backup

    3 already seen

    4 superDuper!

    5. Synk Pro

    6. Tri-Backup

    Additional tips

    Make sure you have a sufficient amount of RAM installed for the number of applications you run simultaneously. Make sure to leave a minimum of 10% of the capacity of the hard disk as free space.

    Add more RAM. If your computer less than 2 GB of RAM and you use OS X Leopard or later, then you can do it with more RAM. Snow Leopard and Lion works much better with 4 GB of RAM that is their system. Most concurrent applications, that you tend to use the more RAM you should have.

    Always have at least 15 GB, or 10% of the capacity of your hard disk as free space, the largest. OS X frequently accesses your hard disk, so offering enough free space will keep things slow down.

    Check for applications that may be hogging the CPU:

    Before Mavericks

    Open the activity monitor in the Utilities folder.  Select all processes in the drop process .  Click the % CPU column heading twice to display in descending order.  If find you a process that uses a large amount of time processor (> = 70,) then select the process, and then click the quit icon in the toolbar.  Click the force quit button to kill the process.  See if that helps.  Don't forget to mention the name of the runaway process, so you can find the cause of the problem.

    Mavericks and later versions

    Open the activity monitor in the Utilities folder.  Select all processes in the menu display .  Click the CPU tab in the toolbar.

    This problem occurs often because of a corrupted cache or the preferences file or an attempt to write in a corrupted log file.

    Company need more storage so it wanted to add 2 drives more (same spec as to purchase). I thought to try to turn the RAID 1 pair in RAID 10 set in order to keep the simple logical configuration (a single large logical volume which now seems to be 1.2 TB in size instead of 600 GB) - could get but not really someone to describe if it could be done for non-destructive way that requires not the complete system installation/restoration - so opted for just add the 2 new drives as a RAID extra 1 pair in order to not reach a stable, boot, partition operating system running on the current RAID 1 pair.

    Contracted for the Dell technician to come out to install 2 new readers, be clear that the service was not complete until I had an extra pair of RAID 1, appearing as a usable operating system.

    Technician arrived, installed readers, set the new RAID pair in the H200 configuration utility, rebooted the system and when the BONES began to load had a blue screen BSOD. Technician then disconnected drives newly associated (the level of the cables) to see if the system would boot - BSOD again on restart (both of now get us this "pleated" feel if you know what I mean). Then went into the raid configuration utility, removed the new raid 1 volume (which, by the way, is appeared above the one existing in the list - which is not very intuitive that one that has been added is Volume 1 and the existing old is Volume 2 in the utility). After the triple-checking that we had the right volume (it showed that 8% initialized over the other which was complete, as well as the corresponding drive port numbers), we have REMOVED the new volume (at this point I don't remember if we had replaced the cables for the readers to perform this action).

    At startup the system rebooted normally - we were all so relieved, don't talk over retries at the moment.

    Talk to Dell there seems to be a problem with the PERC H200 firmware or drivers. Has not affected the config initial of a single pair of RAID 1, however caused problems when you attempt to add another pair. Escalation of Dell support said that has happened several times with Windows 2008 (which comes from the SBS 2011) systems. They recommended that the firmware update and the PERC H200 card drivers.

    I turned to the technician and asked when we could plan the updates of the firmware and driver and told him that they wouldn't do that (not sure that I blame the poor guy, he was sweating bullets after the BSOD 2nd).  I explained that we have contracted for installation services which included ensuring that the pair of extra disk appeared also usable for the operating system and he said that I needed to talk to Dell that.

    You wanted to post information on issues with PERC H200 BSOD when adding disks on Win2008 (or SBS 2011).

    Waiting for response from Dell as to who will come on-site to complete the installation.

    Any info about the question to know if the update of the firmware/driver will solve the problem or if I can do with reliability a disk 2 RAID 1 for a 4 disk RAID 10 conversion without having to reinstall/restore system would be appreciated.

    There is NO migration route TO or FROM a nested RAID levels (10, 50, 60) on one of the PERC H series, so it goes from 1 to 10 of RAID is not an option (without backup/replace/create/restore).

    Firmware release notes do not indicate that a large part is added (although the "bugs" may be enough):

    -Addition of Support for > 2.2 to SAS hard drives

    -Small bug fixes

    I have not seen/heard talk of this problem (I don't have a H200), but it is possible that an update of the firmware can change the way it handles the new disks, newly configured RAID arrays, or even how it presents to the OS.

    Do you know if the technician checked to see if the original VD was marked as boot VD?

  • Get the values of default table row when the page loads

    Hello

    I am running JDev 11.1.1.7. We have a page that contains two tables in a relationship of the master / detail of nickname. We can do a real master ADF / detail with view items related because the query for the 2nd table is complex and works best when queries with binding settings. The View object for the 2nd table has a request with 2 link params as it can get in the first table. Thus, when a line is selected in the first table we want to execute ExecuteWithParams on the object from view of the table 2. We do it in the Bean managed for the page in a method that is the selection to the first table listener. It works fine except when the page initially loads, the first line is selected by default. When the default value is selected the selection listener is not triggered.

    I've seen the suggestion of not having a line selected by default when the page loads by removing the value selectedRowKeys on the table. However, we do not want that the 1st row of the table secondary master to be selected by default and we as the table of detail to show the correct corresponding lines.

    Steve

    Steve,

    Not really sure when you say that the 2nd table is complex and may not use the master detail. If the settings link in the parent table, you can set the ViewLink accordingly and it should work, right?

    In any case, if you're after the execution of methods on the loading of the page, you will find the links below.

    If it's a working group, you can add a methodCall as activity by default and UTF, you can use phase listener (if listener server does not).

    CREATE TABLE AS SELECT aaa * of aaa_bkp

    Re-create all triggers and constraints.

    It is, I think it was a good work around

  • Muse is so slow, especially when adding hyperlinks

    As a designer than a programmer, I love Muse, so similar to the sensation to Indesign. She allowed me to do at my site design is amazing, but...

    Now really worried that I chose the wrong software to develop my new site. Get slower and slowest of the day.

    Now cannot be used professionally.

    Every action is so slow. Multicolor spinning wheel is displayed continuously.

    The slower action seems to be when adding hyperlinks. Certainly, there is a little (about 150 per page over 100 pages, it's a ticketing site).

    When clicking on the hyperlink insert the window of the menu drop-down appears quickly, but I have to wait almost 30 seconds before I can enter the link and then another 30 seconds by clicking on back for the link to be accepted.

    30 seconds may not seem like a long time but believe me, it's when we look at a multicoloured spinning wheel. With 150 links per page, which is more than 2 hours of wasted time.

    Is there anyway to speed up this process? Is there anywhere in preferences to say Muse to reduce the number of previous installations of links used in the menu drop-down? If it would expedite the operation?

    Any help would be appreciated, because I don't want to renounce the Muse. Thank you.

    Yes, 2015.2 is faster. But... you can not expect the sedan city it will be a big truck. Different tasks have different tools. Muse is not really suitable for large sites. Not only because of the speed.
    CMS is a completely different usability, allowing to work with directories. Muse can't. Everything must be done manually, which leads to loss of time and difficulties with seo.

  • Validation of required field only when the page loads (HR test case!) included

    Hi experts,

    Here you have a simple test for Jdev 12.1.3 HR case: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18609389/TestHR.zip

    The main.jspx is just a button which CreateInsert a record dept displayed in another page:

    Screen Shot 10-16-14 at 07.04 PM.PNG

    My problem is the following page (test.jspx) has this code to run when the page loads:

    <af:serverListener type="onloadEvent" method="#{backingBeanScope.backinBean.onPageLoad}"/>
                <af:clientListener method="onLoadClient" type="load"/>
                <af:resource type="javascript">
                  function onLoadClient(event) {
                      AdfCustomEvent.queue(event.getSource(), "onloadEvent",
                      {
                      },
    false);
                      return true;
                  }
                </af:resource>

    The code is simply this (now):

        public void onPageLoad(ClientEvent clientEvent) {
            logger.severe("HR TEST.....");
        }

    And that's the problem, required validation is performed.

    Can you tell me why?

    Thank you

    Jose.

    Don't know what is my mistake, but the code is of the actionListener button is not called. :-(

    Well, you combined two different ways to do this (from my first answer).

    If you are still reading this, you will notice "or" before the second suggestion

    Thus,.

    1. keep your clientListener under af:document tag

    2. based on javascript, you find key (use: alert ("button");)  to see if you have referenced correctly your button in findComponentById())

    And then:

    approach 1:

    Use AdfActionEvent.queue (button, true);  queue event on your action button and implement your logic in function attached to the properties of your 'actionListener' or 'action' button (if you don't need listener server in this case)

    approach 2:

    Use AdfCustomEvent.queue (button, "onloadEvent", {}, false);  the queue onloadEvent on your button (in this case you need listener server attached to your button)

  • How to make a pdf to appear larger when adding an old PDF so that it corresponds

    I have a pdf file that is a lot of pages. I'm attaching to add pages in the file, but no matter how many more files are that I add, they appear much narrower and shorter than the pages that exist already. I want the new files I add to match the rest of the files in the document.

    u

    Pages in a PDF document have a physical size such as 8.5 "x 11". When you add pages that are a different size, they keep this size when adding. There is not a feature in Acrobat that dimensionnera pages upwards or downwards for a specific size.

  • Adding pages and blocks of text to emulate the behavior of "Smart Text Reflow"

    I create a large number of tables in a document.  If I'm Smart Text reflow on, my script is malfunctioning.  I have the start of treatment:

    1. Add a new table

    2. If the last block of text of page overflowing and then add a new page

    With smartTextReflow off, I want to assure that the executives of new blocks of text which corresponding to the main text of the page master.  It must be able to manage to get the settings from the page of left/right text block.

    I have solved my problem.  I was overthinking things!

    Given that I have selected blocks of text on master pages as the main text blocks, when you create a new page, a block of text is automatically created. So the problem is then simply connect the block preceding text for the text block that was created when the page is added.

    TableAutomation.prototype.AddPage = function() {
         var previousTextFrame = app.activeDocument.pages[-2].textFrames[0];
         var np = app.activeDocument.pages.add();
         var textFrame = np.textFrames[0];
         previousTextFrame.nextTextFrame = textFrame;
    };

    The cost of the above code was about 5 hours of banging my head against the wall
