2. don't you make changes on the computer before this problem?

Reregister the file comdlg32.ocx from an elevated command prompt and verify.

1. open an administrator command prompt. To do this, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

2 type each of the following commands at the command prompt and press ENTER after each command:

regsvr32 /u Comdlg32.ocx

regsvr32 /i Comdlg32.ocx

A quick and simple solution to this problem.

Simply follow the instructions below, download the file, install it and bingo, you have sorted.

This will save you having to reinstall interactive Raceform, but you can do before a new installation if you wish.

Click on the link below (or copy and paste it into a browser address bar):

    http://download.Microsoft.com/download/vfoxodbcdriver/install/6.1/W9XNT4/en-us/Vfpodbc.msi

If you do this in Google Chrome you will see this in the lower left corner of your screen-

Double-click this and you should now see this-
    Choose to run
    Now, you will see this-
And it should now be as easy as just after the other, agree questions etc after clicking this first suite.
This will allow you to install drivers for Visual FoxPro that will hopefully Raceform Interactive must be installed after that he completed.

    Hello

A runtime error is a software or hardware problem that prevents a program to function properly. Runtime errors could cause you to lose information in the file that you are using, causing errors in the file (corrupt the file) so that you cannot work with it, or prevent you from using a feature.

From now on, I suggest you try the steps listed in the KB article and check if it helps.

  • Runtime error '339' missing vbwExtender.ocx

    [Windows Vista 32B SP2]
First of all, Hello to all I'm new, this place looks very professional and I am pleased to join this place!

I have this error of runtime for about a week on my brother's computer. It appears after the computer loads up. I guess that started since I installed BitDefender Free AV. During the first, everything would hang, program extensions and it is running. After I removed the AV error still exists when I load the system, but I can surf the web and do a casual job as before. It seems very similar to this error on a previous thread. So far I ran a registry via CCleaner cleaning and anything else again. I searched the web, and there are a lot of very similar and shady 'hacker-free' sites that offer a 5MB ~ 10 MB magic fix to my question! But I pass on those. I'm hoping to get a good manual correction of a pro. Thank you all in advance!

The thread I was referring to: ()
Edit: well, I replaced the AV to MSE and disabled a few things on the restart and no more errors, I guess it's that?

Yes, I disabled a program at startup in msconfig, just because I thought it was suspicious and I didn't know how to uninstall it. I also completely uninstalled the free AV. of BitDefender which resolved.

  • diditbox.ocx error 339

This error was coming, can help you.

    Hi grjmmr1,

Here are some generic information about error 339: http://www.runtimeerrorsfix.com/what-is-runtime-error-339.html.  In essence, there is some kind of problem with the program that uses diditbox.ocx or this file is missing, lost, corrupted, or deleted (which I could find nothing about anywhere).

When the error appear?  Please post the error message Word for Word accurate and complete including all codes.  What program you trying to use or help when it occurs?  It prevents you from doing something or effects you notice when it happens?  Does it occur rarely or often or always at startup or is there any model you can identify?  Which Windows operating system you use (e.g., 32-bit Vista Business SP2)?  Have you recently installed new programs or since this started? -who would be the likely causes of the problem.

We will check some of your system files:

Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt and right click on command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

, Type sfc/scannow go and let it run.  It will scan and try to the difficulty of some of your system files.  If all goes well he comes complete with no corruption, it could not repair (if it has these post of corruption here or try to analyze it to find the problem or files using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228. It can include more information on this file.

While in the command prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and enter and let it run.  They tried to set itself to run at the next reboot.   Answer Yes and restart to run the program.  It will scan and attempt to resolve any corruption or bad sectors on your hard drive and remove especially as a potential cause.

If this does not work, then please post the Event Viewer error messages about diditbox.ocx (Start / Control Panel / administrative tools / Event Viewer).  Look in the sections of the system and applications.

If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

Start in safe mode with network and see if the problem is here.  A result allows us to narrow down the search for the cause.

Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  If you use Windows 7, see:http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html. If you are using Vista, see:http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/. If you are using XP, see:http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial56.html.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

It is possible, that it is malware.  Update and run a scan complete with your current security software.  If you do not have because they can help, try the following programs. I recommend you download, install, update and run full scans with Malwarebytes:http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and SuperAntiSpyware:http://superantispyware.com/ and then run a full scan of Microsoft Security:http://www.microsoft.com/security/default.aspx.

Perform a full search on your computer (a complete advanced search of all of the computer in Vista and Windows 7) for diditbox.ocx see if you can find it and from there to identify what it is associated (possibly by the record, it's in its properties, or everything you can find about it).   If we can identify the program, we will be more closer to finding the cause and possibly a solution.

I hope this helps.  If this isn't the case, please answer my questions above and also include the results of what you have tried in your next reply.  We will have to examine more deeply the possibility of infection, or that the information you provide may give us a clue on what to try next.

    Good luck!

  • A VB6 application does not work under Windows 7 (32 bit). Run-time error '339'.

Hello. I have a problem you're trying to start my program I wrote long ago on VB6. When it is run, it displays an error message: "run-time error '339': component ' COMCTL32." "OCX' is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid. I searched "comctl32.ocx", but it doesn't seem to be anywhere in C:\Windows (including subfolders). Using this installation - first http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=10019 , then System File Checker do not solve the problem - the program still does not work and ' COMCTL32. OCX' is not found. What should I do?

It seems that Firefox has sent the server something it was not expected. Sometimes this can be caused by obsolete or damaged cookies - assuming that you have visited the site before. It could also result in changes of standard information sent to servers such as the string 'user agent' that specifies your version of browser and operating system.
