RV ops product is defective due to certificate

Hello

I just installed vum 3.4.

When you try to configure Server ops vc, after providing credentials, I got an error message:

xxx: the certificate of the host does not match the certificate you have agreed (or you have not yet accepted the certificate). Please see the tab manage products Page.

And it seems that if you have not configured correctly part ops vc, I get in the monitor only 'fail' on the page: no information on the vcenters is available...

Thks,

Vinny

To resolve this problem follow the steps below

1. on the product tab click 'Edit' under the vCenter Server (under ' Actions).

2. in the dialog page that opens click on "Save".

3. under "certificates of server to accept, click on 'Accept all'.

  • Cannot use https wesites due to certificate error

There was an update to Windows 7 and an update of Firefox 27 today. Unfortunately, I didn't do one at a time.
First thing I noticed gmail was not correctly display the graphs in the chat window. Then the Firefox Add ons link check - did nothing, just display "Loading Data" and never do anything. I went the Add-ons for my Firefox and it displays the error message "this connection is Untrusted. You asked Firefox to connect safely to services.addons.mozilla.org, but we cannot confirm that your connection is secure. »
    and
"services.addons.mozilla.org uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer) »

There is no way to add a certificate exception, so I can't use the addons page. Other websites using the https protocol either do not display correctly or also display the error "this connection is untrusted". I've done almost all proposed on forums and FAQS: I have reset Firefox, I deleted the file cert8.db and other extension files in my profile. I started in safe mode, try a different profile. A clean installed Firefox 26, and I always get this error message.

I've seen suggestions that had to do with a security installation, which I did not, could there be an equivalent of McAfee?
I use a company computer and do not have control over the antivirus settings or the proxy.
I had to install Chrome just to post this question as the button "Ask the question" did not at all on IE.

Found the solution... Found in a place of info on authorities of certification and checked in Firefox, it turns out that those used by our company (Zscaler) was absent.
I exported 3 Zscaler certificates of IE and then imported into Firefox. It's working now!

  • Need to format the drive due to some problems and having to reinstall Windows 7. I could use the same product key

    Original title: Windows 7

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP 1 that have previously been installed then bought my laptop. Product key number is fixed under the laptop.

I need to format my drive due to some problems and having to reinstall Windows 7. can I use the same product key and where can I get the installer of Windows 7 because I don't have it.

New computers that come pre-installed with Windows often have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For LG, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

For Samsung, press F4 to the power upward...

For Fujitsu, press the F8 key directly after the power

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

Sony VAIO, reboot and press "F8" or "F10" repeatedly until the screen "Advanced Boot Options".

  • Failure of the conversion due to SSL certificate problems - can work around this problem?

I began the process of migration of a collection of virtual machines in an environment of KVM to an existing cluster of vSphere and try to use the converter (5.5) do a dynamic conversion/migration of a Ubuntu box, but it does not reason create the virtual disk on one of the hosts because of the SSL certificate, and I found no other messages or articles specifically on this (looks like most associated with SSL include improving speed)

In the worker newspaper, I can see that:

    • The converter is able to successfully create the target VM
    • The attempt to create the virtual disk is defective for the certificate SSL is not invalid (all systems in the cluster appear to be using default certificates from VMware).  In the log file of the worker:

    2014-08 - 07T 09: 35:13.947 - 07:00 [warning 06620 'Default'] [, 0] SSL_IsVerifyEnabled: failed to read the registry value. Falling back to the default behavior: verification on. LastError = 0

    • The goal of the virtual machine is removed.

Is it possible to simply disable the validation of certificate for this process?  In the newspaper, it looks like a registry key that it would control, but I have not found any information on this subject (or guessed correctly).  Or can I import this certificate on the local Windows system running converter to get around it (I could not with this approach, but either)

It's really not clear to me which system validation.  While the worker log shows it connect to the vSphere host, there is no such line indicating it connects to the host where the target VM is located, and it looks like this is the host with the certificate which is considered not valid.   Validation occurs not on my local system running the converter? (the parameters of the vCenter server shows that the box 'vCenter requires a verification of certificates SSL host' is unchecked already)

    Thank you

  • Can't download Windows 7 Pro 64 bit Disc Images (ISO files) with the license product key

A few months ago, I bought a laptop with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit pre-installed, used with supplied installation disc. There is a hologram sticker COA affixed to the laptop with a product key. I used this key to activate the phone without problem. I was then able to install SP1 and various other updates over time.

Recently, I decided that I should have a Windows installation disc (Windows Update has slowed to a crawl and doesn't, and I maybe to repair or reinstall it with the disk).

I have entered my product key on Microsoft Web page to 'Download the Windows 7 disc Images (ISO files)'. But I got an error message:

"The product key you have entered seems to be for software pre-installed by the manufacturer of the device. Contact the manufacturer of the software device for recovery options. »

Running 'Winver' shows that my product is authorized.

Running "slmgr.vbs - dli" shows the partial product key and license status "allowed."

I bought a used Dell laptop which still has its COA on the bottom of the unit.  Apparently the device was installed with Win 7 when new.  I would like to install a new copy of Win 7 64 bit, but would not know if the COST I would work since there is no information if the original installation is 32-bit or 64-bit.   Thanks for any information you could share with me.
