RVS4000 Incorrect time

I have a rvs4000 from cisco with updated firmare V. 1.2.11 and IPS signature in version 1.40 (both updated on 22/03/2009) I have the issue of sub Setup > time > I have these set values: automatically set the local time using the Network Time Protocol (NTP). Time zone: (GMT-5:00 Eastern time (United States and Canada &) automatic time: defined by the user to ACTIVATE the NTP server: DISABLE (tried with my own NTP server, but not made a difference) now with all that said I'm having the issue of when the time is for example 12:17 the router displays as 11:17 ("Alwayse" being an hour off the power) has enybody else noticed this problem?)

Ok thank you. How do I do that? Disable "auto DST" dosent seem to do the trick? So in other words change the time zone to (GMT-04:00) Atlantic (Canada) time?

  • How to work up to an incorrect time on your laptop brand new

This is a whole new notebook HP Zbook 17 G2 with incorrect time.  He was placed in use on 20/09/2015.  Operating system is windows 7 Professional.  In the last month and a half I used time settings and have updated and changed to windows.com in optics to nw.nist.gov to a.nist.gov to b.nist.gov.  On each of these settings, the computer loses time.  Accompanied by a cheque for 24 hours, he was about 50 seconds.  Recently, I saw http//time.is and it displays seconds behind.  It is now 56.2 seconds behind.  The computer is under warranty for three years and has 2 years and 10 months remaining.  The manufacturer did not offer to replace the personal computer.  Instead, they offered to replace the motherboard with a refurbished motherboard and replace the battery in the clock or just replace the battery of the clock.

What methods are there to test the battery for the clock?

What methods are there to test the functions of the motherboard of timing?

How could determine whether software interfering with the holding of the exact time?

What software is available that could test either or both the clock battery or motherboard?

I doubt that the battery is the cause of this.  I would opt for a change of motherboard.

  • Incorrect time shown on 7975 v8.4.1 + CME 7.1

    Hello

I'm setting up some new phones 7975G with firmware 8.4 (1) (SCCP75.8 - 4-1) and I noticed that the clock in the upper left corner is disabled by + 6 hours. I have other phones (7960's) which displays the correct time. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hi Brandon,.

The 7975 works differently from the 7960's :)

After you change the time zone setting, you can do the following.

    Operating instructions

This command works with the section vendorConfig of the Sep*.conf.xml configuration file, which is read by the firmware of the phone when the Cisco IP Phone is started. Some phones, like the Cisco Unified IP Phone 7906, 7911, 7931, 7941, 7942, 7945, 7961, 7962, 7965, 7970, 7971 and 7975, get the time coordinated universal (UTC) of the clock of the Cisco router. To display the correct local time, the time on the phones display must be compensated by using this command.

    This command is not required for Cisco Unified IP Phone 7902 G, 7905 G, 7912 G, 7920, 7921, 7935, 7936, 7940, 7960 or 7985 G.

For the changes made to the time zone in effect settings, the Sep*.conf.xml file must be updated using the command of cnf-files create and Cisco IP phones have restarted using the reset command.

  • I can not install any application Windows store. incorrect time showing a time 0 * 80080008 another time 0 * 80072efe all time showing like this different type of error.

I can not install any application Windows store. incorrect time showing a time 0 * 80080008 another time 0 * 80072efe all time showing like this different type of error. first time using windows 8.1 but restore for windows 8. but problem still. How do reslove this problem.

    Hi Anish,

If you receive the error 80072efe or 80080008 when you use Windows Store, the cause may be an interruption of the connection between your computer and the Windows Update service.

Here are a few methods you can try to solve this problem.

Method 1: Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

Open and run the Windows Update Troubleshooter to fix the problem automatically.

Method 2: Run the troubleshooter for Internet connections.

Open the network troubleshooter utility by hitting at full speed in the straight edge screen, quilting search (or if you use a mouse, pointing to the top right of the screen, move the pointer of the mouse down and then clicking search), inbound to identify and repairin the search box, and then tapping or identify and repair network problems.

Method 3: Restart the Windows update service and check.

    a. press or press the Windows key + R, type services.msc and press ENTER.

    b. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or click continue.

    c. find the Background Intelligent Transfer Service and check the status.

    d. If the status is stopped, click Background Intelligent Transfer Servicesand then click Start menu.

    e. search Windows Update and check the status.

    f. If the status is stopped, click Windows Update, and then click Start menu.

    g. close Services.

Method 4: T emporarily disable the security software and verify.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

Sounds like a problem of DST 2007 when they moved DST back 3 weeks from the 1st Sunday in April to the 2nd Sunday of the month of March.  The machines that still use the pre-2007 DST rules are behind an hour for 3 weeks in the spring and go for 1 week in the fall.  Set your time zone hour UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) and see if it fits in time of www.time.gov UTC.  If it does match, then install this hotfix:

  • Droid 4: Incorrect time stamp on received texts

Last week, my D4 was put incorrect timestamps on incoming text messages when using certain applications of text without share capital. All the texts received (regardless of the sender) are stamped 4 hours earlier when they were actually sent. Threaded messaging is a real pain.

Text message app stock is fine, like Handcent. The problem seems to be isolated to GO SMS Pro (my favorite SMS app) and messaging (ICS-like stock) ICS. I uninstalled both and reinstalled without change.

Everyone on this experience there or have any suggestions for me?

    Thank you!

Might I venture a guess that you live in the Eastern time zone? If so, I imagine that some of these third-party applications are to recognize the incoming texts in UTC instead of your local time zone. Some of these third-party applications have a mismatch in the settings menu; If there is no option to report the bug to the author.

  • My Windows Photo Gallery has incorrect time for good that my computer is correct. I know how to change the time, but wanted the exact time is displayed automatically when you scan photos etc as before.

Time is incorrect in Windows Photo Gallery and I would like to do this automatically scanned early for photos instead of my change time.

    Hi Sardai,

Unfortunately, this information is not always accurate. If you took some of your pictures in a different time zone, for example, the time recorded for these pictures could be incorrect by several hours. The camera can also be set to the wrong date and time. Or, if you're scanning photos, ta date will reflect the date that they have been digitized, not the date on which they were taken. All these anomalies can be adjusted manually.

To change the date or time

    1. open Windows Photo Gallery by clicking on the Start button, all programs, and then clicking Windows Photo Gallery.

    2. If you do not see the details on the side of the window pane, click information on the toolbar to display it.

    3. click on the image you want to change.

    1. to select more than one picture, hold down the CTRL and click each picture you want to change.

    4. click on the date at the top of the details pane.

    5. click on the arrow next to the date and then click the correct date on the calendar.

    6. click on the time at the top of the details pane.

    7. Select the correct time.

To adjust the time for pictures taken in a different time zone

    1. open Windows Photo Gallery by clicking on the Start button, all programs, and then clicking Windows Photo Gallery.

    2. right click on the image you want to change and then click on change time taken.

To select more than one picture, hold down the CTRL and click each picture you want to change, and then click a picture when you are done.

    3. in the change to box, type the number of hours to change, or click the up or down arrow to select the number of hours. To make the new start time, type a minus sign (-) before the number.

  • Incorrect time on the E20/C-Series

We have a few units E20s and C-Series, where the time is incorrect display.  The C-Series are static IP addresses, the E20s are a mixture of static/dynamic.

They use all their default NTP settings:

    Mode: Auto

    Address: either 0.ntp.tandberg.com or 1.ntp.tandberg.com

If I understand correctly, they get their information from NTP of DHCP, and if none is provided, they range from what is in the address field.  This applies to systems with static addresses so?  Are there settings for DHCP and assigned static systems?  Ideas and information would be greatly appreciated, as we see that the variations in the time of a few minutes during half an hour.

    Thank you! Patrick

    Hello!

If NTP is set to auto so he would use DHCP is set the NTP scope that is returned by the DHCP server.

If no scope is returned or if you do not use dhcp, it will use the configured NTP server.

NTP could also be searched via a DNS - SRV record in theory, but I don't think I had seen that by

End points of TP Cisco for now.

The ping test indicates that you can not resolve the name to an IP address.

If you use the automatically assigned DHCP DNS servers will. If you use a static IP configuration, you would

have you set the DNS servers.

xConfiguration DNS Server 1 network address 1: "8.8.8.8.

8.8.8.8 is a google DNS, better to be replaced by the right DNS server for your network.

In addition DNS and NTP traffic should also be in your firewall.

You can also try to define what sets the NTP mode to manual and address NTP for

199.4.29.166 is an address of the ntp pool returend tandberg, you can change it to an internal or external ip address

    which is known to work.

    XConfiguration NetworkServices NTP Mode: manual

    xConfiguration NetworkServices NTP address: 199.4.29.166

Please restart endpoint after you made a change to make sure it worked.

  • Expired the incorrect time format the seconds

    Hello

The attached VI maintains channels of the passage of time and I'm having a problem with the format in the second section. It gives me 3 digits and not properly counting the seconds.

I would have only 2 digits for the seconds and the County properly under the name of 01, 02... 09, 10, 11... 59 (second section).

Could someone suggest a change to the attached VI?

    Thank you

    FRN

The reason that you do not see the correct number, it is that the value that you get out of the final Quotient function & rest isn't seconds and miliseconds.

Add one more Quotient & rest with a 1000 as y. Then take the floor(x/y) your seconds.

  • Incorrect time stamp control value

I am in the time zone of + 1. I did not write on this subject, but I already tried to change the time zone, without result.

As an attachment, I write a simple example, which is also shown on the image below. 3 control set shows the result of the new control on a Panel, which has not been affected and 2 other pressed button controls, upwards or downwards. As you can see, walue of 00:00:00, 000 (this time has not remove date time and the part of the fraction) in the background is equal to 01:00.

    Edit:

I found a solution that works for me on stack overflow.

I use digital control with the display of the relative time format.
