Incorrect time on the E20/C-Series

We have a few units E20s and C-Series, where the time is incorrect display.  The C-Series are static IP addresses, the E20s are a mixture of static/dynamic.

They use all their default NTP settings:

Mode: Auto

Address: either 0.ntp.tandberg.com or 1.ntp.tandberg.com

If I understand correctly, they get their information from NTP of DHCP, and if none is provided, they range from what is in the address field.  This applies to systems with static addresses so?  Are there settings for DHCP and assigned static systems?  Ideas and information would be greatly appreciated, as we see that the variations in the time of a few minutes during half an hour.

Thank you! Patrick

Hello!

If NTP is set to auto so he would use DHCP is set the NTP scope that is returned by the DHCP server.

If no scope is returned or if you do not use dhcp, it will use the configured NTP server.

NTP could also be searched via a DNS - SRV record in theory, but I don't think I had seen that by

End points of TP Cisco for now.

The ping test indicates that you can not resolve the name to an IP address.

If you use the automatically assigned DHCP DNS servers will. If you use a static IP configuration, you would

have you set the DNS servers.

8.8.8.8 is a google DNS, better to be replaced by the right DNS server for your network.

In addition DNS and NTP traffic should also be in your firewall.

You can also try to define what sets the NTP mode to manual and address NTP for

  • Expired the incorrect time format the seconds

    Hello

The attached VI maintains channels of the passage of time and I'm having a problem with the format in the second section. It gives me 3 digits and not properly counting the seconds.

I would have only 2 digits for the seconds and the County properly under the name of 01, 02... 09, 10, 11... 59 (second section).

Could someone suggest a change to the attached VI?

    Thank you

The reason that you do not see the correct number, it is that the value that you get out of the final Quotient function & rest isn't seconds and miliseconds.

Add one more Quotient & rest with a 1000 as y. Then take the floor(x/y) your seconds.

  • Incorrect time in the table of contents

I have a 8 s sliding for more than a minute long. After mounting, the TOC always shows the time 01:26 and does not update. Saved as a new file, no change.

    Clues?

I have tried resetting the table of contents, but duration of slides is adapted in real time, no reset necessary.

Type securities, may I offer a tip? Label the slides instead of typing the slide titles in the table of contents. For a higher level, group slides, labeling the Group and this will appear as a top level heading in the table of contents. This has not only the advantage that resetting the table of contents will keep these labels, but they are also very useful in other cases, some examples:

    • If you want to use the jump to the slide, you can choose the label of the slide instead of the number
    • The advanced interaction, in the branching view, you'll see labels for slides instead of numbers
    • You can reduce the groups in the film strip
    • You can apply a master slide to a group

Does anyone know if you can pair Bluetooth headset at the same time and heart rate monitor strap chest Bluetooth with the Apple Watch series 2? I can't find any info about it online. I hope so, because they have everything works without your phone now since it has GPS. Obviously a chest strap heart rate monitor gives you a more accurate reading. And who is running without music? If they want to really all the new capabilities of fitness improved series 2, that this is a must!

The original WATCH allows you to do this, so I don't see why the series 2 would not.

  • Read data series and detect the break in series at the same time

I need to communicate with a serial device that sends messages back, but also sends a break, break, break, break series combo that I need to listen to. I've never worked with before series breaks but the only VI I found which seems to detect pending VISA on event VI with the series Break parameter. I'm not sure that understand how I could detect a break in the series, but also to be reading and writing messages at the same time in the meantime. Isn't this possible?

If you use multiple loops, I think you can do.  You use 1 loop to check to see if there is data and 1 loop looking for breaks series.  Then use queues, authors of notifications or events to anyone who needs to know what you have experienced.

  • My Windows Photo Gallery has incorrect time for good that my computer is correct. I know how to change the time, but wanted the exact time is displayed automatically when you scan photos etc as before.

Time is incorrect in Windows Photo Gallery and I would like to do this automatically scanned early for photos instead of my change time.

    Hi Sardai,

Unfortunately, this information is not always accurate. If you took some of your pictures in a different time zone, for example, the time recorded for these pictures could be incorrect by several hours. The camera can also be set to the wrong date and time. Or, if you're scanning photos, ta date will reflect the date that they have been digitized, not the date on which they were taken. All these anomalies can be adjusted manually.

To change the date or time

    1. open Windows Photo Gallery by clicking on the Start button, all programs, and then clicking Windows Photo Gallery.

    2. If you do not see the details on the side of the window pane, click information on the toolbar to display it.

    3. click on the image you want to change.

    1. to select more than one picture, hold down the CTRL and click each picture you want to change.

    4. click on the date at the top of the details pane.

    5. click on the arrow next to the date and then click the correct date on the calendar.

    6. click on the time at the top of the details pane.

    7. Select the correct time.

To adjust the time for pictures taken in a different time zone

    1. open Windows Photo Gallery by clicking on the Start button, all programs, and then clicking Windows Photo Gallery.

    2. right click on the image you want to change and then click on change time taken.

To select more than one picture, hold down the CTRL and click each picture you want to change, and then click a picture when you are done.

    3. in the change to box, type the number of hours to change, or click the up or down arrow to select the number of hours. To make the new start time, type a minus sign (-) before the number.

  • hp update clock is of the order he gives incorrect times for updates

I even had a tech fix the main date on the bottom of the desktop, but when I looked at the previous updates that they have been installed at a later date and not the correct date.

If the date and time system is correct (from the bottom to the right of the toolbar) and then clock in Vista works correctly and the problem is with the clock of HP (or its update process).  You must contact the technical support of HP http://www.hp.com/#Support and get help them with thie problem. Looks like you already have.  Maybe fix the clock (if they did) has not solved the problem with the updates installed in the front that were set with the date and time that was in effect at the time of the update (and there may be no way to solve this problem, other than the re - download and re-install the updates {maybe after uninstalling them}) but the HP support they will know more on this subject.  Did you downloads because they 'fixed' their clock, and they display the date / time correct?

In any case, here we know very little about the HP update clock: I didn't even know he was separated and can't see why they would do that when the date and time system is available from Vista (it is a forum of Vista) and so you work with HP for this problem.

Sorry we can not help you with your problem here, but I'm sure HP can help you solve your problem, if it still exists.

  • Incorrect setting of the time

I am in Washington, D.C., and I put my settings surfaces of PC at the time of the East (United States and Canada &).  I also have the button on stating that he must adjust for DST automatically.  However, the time that shows on my surface is an hour later than my real time.  Would like to know how to solve this problem.

You use a time server (time.windows.com and time.nist.gov)?

Try the procedure described on this page:

    http://www.faqforge.com/Windows/correct-wrong-system-time-in-Windows-8/

I saw another thread who recommended using time.nist.gov if the time is off by one hour.

    Hope this helps,

  • Date and time current field incorrect when in the browser

When displaying a PDF file in a browser, tried Chrome and Firefox, the time and the date that is entered in the field time now seems to be the last date the form has been saved. But when the form is downloaded, the date and time are entered correctly. I tried clearing history & cache, but still not the wrong time.

Firefox and Chrome have built-in PDF viewers. Does not support the JavaScript that uses the form for auto-ensemble the time, but because of Reader/Acrobat, this is why it does not work when download you and open it in Reader/Acrobat.

  • Satellite Pro 6100 - how to change the date and time in the BIOS

    Hello

I received a satellite pro 6100 that had not been used for some time. Windows does not work then he reinstalled with the good drive.

When I try and windows 'enable', I get the error 32777 and the laptop is unable to connect with the activation servers that a google leads to believe me that the date and time are incorrect in the bios.

I know that Press esc to access the bios but there is no option to change the date and time in there. I put the date / the correct time in windows, but this does not seem to synchronize with the bios. I've updated to the latest version of the bios, but this is not enough.

How can I change or update the time in the bios?

    Thank you

    Hello

I doubt this time and date setting BIOS does affect Windows activation time Windows doesn t affect it in my opinion. There must be another reason for this problem.
You can activate Windows by phone?

Normally the date and time in the BIOS can change you if you mark the date or time, and then press on + or - to change this. Sometimes you have to press PageDown/to the top according to the model of BIOS or laptop.
Usually in the configuration of the BIOS you will find a brief info how changing the values.

  • Probe provides incorrect information on the status of the queue

In LabVIEW 2009, the probe provides incorrect information on the status of the queue. I got and queue without name, did a Flush queue and queue 5 times zero double precision values. Why the probe displays a number of items in the queue?

It's a bug.  I was able to reproduce the results of dbaechtel.  I tried to fathom in several places and got "0 queue" in all places.  Name of the queue does not affect the outcome of the probe.  It must be a bug.  However, the elements # in the output queue of the waiting state is correct.

  • 6602 OR time between the redeclenchables task runs

I'm trying to use a signal level TTL of a device to trigger a train of impulses of the 6602 OR. I have no problem getting the 1st pulse train, but the subsequent pulse trains are delayed and no longer synchronize with new incoming TTL signals. I've tested this with trains of pulses consisting of a pulse with no luck. Is there an interval over time required by a redeclenchables task to "recharge"?

It might be interesting to note that the initiator of the TTL trigger product the trigger as a 5V increase 0 and can access more than 0.7mA.

    Vadim

    Hi Vadim,

The trigger must be re-army in a time base tick or two (12, 5-25 ns if you use the time base of 80 MHz) when the previous impulse over, so this probably isn't the issue.

I expect that you run into is a characteristic of DAQmx how treats the initial delay property for redeclenchables meter tasks.  You can find a description here, but essentially the behavior is to generate a single pulse redeclenchables:

First start: will stay in a State of rest for the Initial delay, then generate a single pulse of time to the high.

All of the following triggers: will be remain in a State of rest for the period, and then generate a single pulse of the desired length of top.

This is true for most of the DAQ hardware.  Recent material (series X, other than the 9172 cDAQ chassis) actually use the behavior waited more than use the initial delay instead some time on each retrigger (with the possibility to go back to the old behavior by setting a property).  On your 6602, my recommendation when generating a single pulse redeclenchables is always set your low time equal to the initial period (the minimum value would be 25 ns).
