Safari won't allow Flash Player.

I installed, uninstalled, rebooted, checked the forums and followed all the instructions. I have a Mac OS X Mavericks of operation and you may not use Adobe Flash Player. When I select Safari > Preferences > security, there is no option for me of check the box "allow all other plug-ins", I turn on JavaScript, but there is no checkbox to activate the Flash Player. I want to access YouTube on my new Macbook Pro. Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you

We have no plans to release the full Firefox browser for iOS. The iOS SDK agreement requires apps to use Apple's own JavaScript engine (or none at all, like Opera Mini which downloads pre-rendered pages from Opera's servers and cannot run JavaScript code in the client). Because of this, we have no supported way to distribute Firefox's rendering and JavaScript engine to iPhone users.
However, you can download Firefox Home for iPhone (can work on iPad), an iOS app that uses Firefox Sync to deliver Firefox bookmarks, browsing history, and tabs to your iPhone or iPod Touch.

  • Mac OS x will not be updated to the latest version of Flash Player.

My Mac OSX intel 10.6.8 won't play Flash Player. I followed all the instructions, including "How to perform a Clean Install" but Flash Player does not work. I even checked with Apple newsgroups and followed suggestions about plug-ins, etc, but it still does not work. Enough niggled because I don't have flash player on my Mac for everything now, after following the instructions from Adobe to remove original. If necessary and if possible I would like to download a previous version.  Using Safari v. 5.1.9.

Before uninstall for the umpteenth time, I was able to provide information following (to the community of Apple support), but ultimately they said, I need to contact this site.

Resolution with a single answer? Somehow I don't think.

If you delete the folder INTEGER Macromedia, the next time you launch your browser, it will recreate everything in it. If you are not comfortable with this, simply remove the Flash Player folder. Then follow the instructions in 'clean install' and restart your browser.

  • Why can't I install Flash Player on IE 8 on this server?

I went through the download and install several times.  The Adobe black window appears, says installation complete, but when I go to web sites that require Flash or diagnostic Abobe sites, it showes no Flash installed.

It seems to be a browser specific problem. Try another browser like chrome or firefox, it should work.

Fixing IE or Safari, can follow the suggestions below:

Run the Flash Player uninstaller as appropriate for your machine (i.e.Windows or MAC) and remove flash player.

    For MAC: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html

    For Windows: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

    Restart the computer.

    Download and reinstall Flash Player.

    Restart the browser and check.

  • What is happening with Flash Player

Every website I went like youtube, as said to download the latest version of adobe flash player, which I did like 15 times now and won't always play. I use IE9 and windows 7. Anyone had the same problem and was able to get it fixed. I really need to get it fixed for the school. I don't like not all other browsers, so I'm hoping to get it repaired for IE9. The only other alternative is of adobe is at the origin of the problems on purpose and they are right to want us to pay $ 39 to talk to someone who cannot be repaired.

  • Flash player does not install

I cannot download and install the latest version of adobe flash player on my laptop that contains internet explore 10 and windows 7... I get an error message to close internet explore and I do this (as well as some other suspicious programs) with the kind permission of the Task Manager. I seem to be doing the work, but when I look for the flash player, it isn't here... Help! .... FXK.      I also followed the advice of downloading and installing Active X on the mentioned website and I followed the instructions accordingly. The installation appears to be over, but it is still not on my computer. Help!         When I say that it is "still not on my computer' I mean that there is no sign anywhere on the hard drive (no icons, no words, nothing) and when I go to a site that requires the use of Adobe Flash player, I am told to download it and install it. I already did it.                                                                                                                                  Frank

You won't see Flash Player in the programs or documents or any where because it is a "plugin" for Firefox (or IE) and NOT a program.

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by clicking on the following link: Flash Player ActiveX (Internet Explorer) and select "save target as."

Save it in your file downloads - DO NOT run again.

    Reboot your system.

Before opening anything else, go to your Downloads folder and launch the installer.

If IE still gives you trouble, see: Activation Flash Player in Internet Explorer and ActiveX in Internet Explorer filtering to make sure it's enabled and ActiveX is not blocking the content.

  • How to install Flash Player on two different browsers?

Have a PC of 32-bit Windows Vista with the two browsers: IE8 and Safari. Flash Player, already installed on IE8.

    Problem solved!

Created a Restore Point system and boldly charged before.  Using the Safari browser, I open the Flash Player download page and installed the version of Safari.

The Flash Player Plugin for Safari installed correctly with zero negative impact on Flash Player IE8.

  • Flash player does not work on my computer, would like advice

I have windows vista.  When I visit a web page that requires flash, it tells me to download it (even if I don't know I have ialready...).  I do it, it says it downloaded successfully, but I still can't view the Web site.  I uninstalled my current flash version and reinstalled the latest version many times.  He even appears in my list of programs.  But whenever I visit a site that uses it, it tells me that I need flash to view.  Very frustrating.  And suggestions would be appreciated.  Thank you!

Do you see an animation and a version number when you visit the page of the Version of Flash Player ?

I uninstalled all my computer Adobe products and reinstall the Flash Player. He still doesn't, now what? I can't play my games or watch videos.

Let's start by making sure the "shockwave flash" addon is activated correctly in Internet Explorer.  Please, try the steps outlined in these two FAQS:

  • Download and install the most recent version, but still get error - "requires the latest version of flash player.

I get a message that something does not work because the latest version of flash player must be installed.  I go through the download and install Flash player, but still not the message.  After installation, I never get the configuration steps.  I tried to uninstall what ever version of flash player is on my computer before the download and install, but it does not help.

I also tried to remove Adobe photoshop Elements 9 and Adobe first Elements 9 but I couldn't make it work. I get a message that "this action is only valid for products that are currently installed."

Removed phone numbers that I am assuming that you do not want this posted on a public forum.

You can try going through the steps in the two faq from below.  In addition, where you can go to the Version of the Flash Player page and see the animation and flash player version number displayed?
