I have an old PC and delete the Flash Player!
I use Windows XP 5.1.2600 Home build 2600 Service Pack 3 and I use IE 8 8.0.6001.187021S, build 86001. I kept getting the upgrade notice, but when I tried to install them I was told that I don't have the stuff in my computer to upgrade. I'm tired of the view, so last night, I deleted the Flash Player and thought I was only Delete version 10.3 but now I have no Flash Player at all. I checked in C:\windows\system32\macroxxx\flash and what is now two install logs, not files. I've looked everywhere I can think of look and cannot find a place to reinstall a version that works with my computer. It's old like I'm old and please, I don't want to have to buy everything new and start over. Can someone tell me where and how to get a full version of Flash Player that works with what I have?
The latest version of Flash Player should work just fine on your computer. I don't know what happened when you tried to install it.
Try the following
- Download uninstaller http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html FP (save to disk);
- Download the install (s) http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html FP (save to disk);
- Close all the browser windows, and then run the uninstall program downloaded, followed to install it (s).

I recently downloaded and installed the Flash Player version 14.0, but it cannot locate on my computer (Mac OS x 10.6). The version I can find is Flash Player version 10.2.153.1. Anyone know the cause of this? There is something much less time than the uninstalling and reinstalling that can fix? My computer broke down several times recently, I'm Mac OS 10.6.8 and it seems to be a feat Flash or Java, Firefox is sensitive to what I fixed with NoScript and a Flash Disabler that can be linked, I am not sure. Photoshop is not running during one of the accidents.
I do not have a backup of my Applications folder that still works fine (on another machine), a restore would fix this?
