• Header and footer does not.

  With the new update, the header and the footer in master pages do not work correctly on published sites, specifically the look of text. When I saw this muse, all pages look very well, and even when I Preview in the browser, it looks good. The problem starts when I publish in Business Catalyst, so it might be a problem here, but I don't know. Is someone can shine some light on this issue? I've tried everything.   We use the Apex 4.2, recently a new requirement came for our standard header and footer banners to be attached to the page.  Does anyone know how to do this?  I searched the forum and have not found something that works so far.

  We use the 24 theme, currently our header and footers are defined on each page using the page "header text" level and

  fields 'footer text.  We use "a level tabs - no sidebar" page template.

  Currently our header and footer banners are scroll with the content of the page and now it is no longer acceptable.  Somehow need to fix these so there always visible at the top and bottom (similar to the toolbar) developer on wallpaper.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  You can create the header/footer within a region of html with a div. something like this:

  This is the footer text

  Where at the bottom: 0; It fixed to the bottom of the screen, as the developer tool bar Apex and top: 0; It fixes to the top of the screen.

  I would create this html area on page 0 so that you can display on all pages.

  If you want to get real fancy, create the region html page 0 with a div with a class name of "footer":

  This is the footer text

  (Once again, for the header to create a similar class with top: 0 ;))

  Then, create a dynamic action on the zero page that fires on the action "Resize" and runs the following javascript code:

  $(«__div.footer").css ({}

  left: ($(window) () .width / 2)-($("div.footer").width () / 2)

  });

  In this way the header/footer will be always centered.

  So, I'm new to Muse but I'm loving far! I am trying to create a border of 1 px around the entirety of my page, including the header and the footer, which surrounds the whole of each page (regardless of the specific height of the page). I tried to create the border on the master page, but on other pages, the border is that the size of the image of the master page, no matter how large, I put the master page.

  Is it possible to have an object extends through (and around) the header and footer and scale to the size of the page, depending on the amount of content there is on the page? Thank you!

  Go to your master page, deselect all items, and then use the run command in the command band on top of the application window.

  First transform you your standard presentation in a model by assigning Editablle ragions (insert/templateobjects/editable area) which must be filled in differently in each of the pages (the textarea for example) and once you are satisfied with the design, menu bar and so on you have a model on which you can base other pages.

  To create a page of a template, press ctrl + n, and then select your model. now once you change something in your model page it will be changed in all pages that you have based on your template.

  When I open a page of website file, it shows an asterisk, which means that a change has been made since the last save - nav, header and foot have disappeared!

  When I check the nav, footer and header, they're all astericks too, and I have not changed anything, because the last I looked on the pages.

  The resulting report is a PDF file which has pages 3 and 4 for each ACCOUNT_NUMBER. The entire document is long about 40 pages.

  I want to add the header and footer of my document.
  
  (1) in the header, I want to add some fields like ACCOUNT_NUMBER, MONTH, YEAR (all the fields of the model that are different for each group). How can I do?
  I tried to put it just in a header, but what I get is all account_numbers on each page, or the first account number to each page.
  
  * The bonus would be that these fields are shoeing only on pages that are not the first to this account number. (Example 2/3, 3/3, 2/4,...)
  
  (2) I want to add the number of pages (in a style 1/3) in a page footer. I tried to incorporate it into a footer in word, but I get 1/40, 2/40, 3/40, 4/40, and I want to get 1/3,2/3,

  Sorry User8090067. I did not read the messages earlier completely.

  Just do the layout as mentioned Mahi (in your case (you don't want anything to come up on the first page) you can have a single page only, with your tags and Page layout). Your OWNER tag will not be printed on the first page of each section.

  You can still keep tags means that you must not put the header/footer in the respective sections in RTF.
  If you want to than your head to go in the header section of the RTF, put directly the tag it (as the form fields are not allowed and that you found yourself).

  The only available version is DC. You can purchase a permanent license or subscription, which includes future updates. You are at least 7 years too late for a reduced price upgrade.

  I recommend that you use the fi free trial CD on ANOTHER COMPUTER to see if the problem is corrected. Once you uninstall 7 you will be NEVER BE ABLE TO REINSTALL.

• Header and footer spacing issues

  I can't solve this problem.  Please help me with an answer to why this continues to happen.

  The image below shows a negative or 'empty' space above the blue square of icons.  Essentially filling the browser must be covered with this blue square of the header down to the footer (the right side is left alone)

  

  Below you will see my master page and where the header and footer are defined (ignore the rounded corners on the dark menu on the left.  I took the screen shot until I dropped the rounded corners)

  

  

  If I "uncheck" the option 'Footer' upstairs in my page on my homepage settings, the blue square attaches to the header and pushes the icons down to the footer; See below.

  

  If I let the 'Footer' option is selected, then the blue square and the icons are there where they are supposed to be in the square, but then, there is a negative or empty space above the blue square and icons (between the header and blue square and icons).

  

  Please, someone will give me a reason why he did this?  There are NO other objects in the way.

  I even deleted the fill browser background image and it always does!

  Please try to place the pictures icon separately on the page in case you have grouped the. Also if in any image and then remove the bezel and then check.

  If still the same issue, so I would need to check the file.

• How do I mask external links or open external links with my url, header and footer?

  Say there is www.exampleA.com, and I incorporate the site into an iframe on a sister site www.exampleB.com

  I want to either of the following the following:
  (1) external links to open www.exampleA.com in the iframe even on www.ExampleB.com (sister site).

  (2) external links to open with url masking.

  3) (open MOST IDEALLY) with header and footer and url of www.exampleB.com.

  Cannot find anything about the muse and the achievement of these objectives. There is a simple solution and hope I don't just see it.

  The ideas that I had, but only a beginner would be something like a blank page in www.exampleB.com with an iframe and rerouting somehow all links to open up in it.
  OR do a subomain with masking so that the links at open upward with the url of the www.exampleB.com subdomain.

  I don't see the problem. By default all links open in the same iFrame according to your number 1). So, unless I'm not understand what you're trying to do, you're worrying about a non-issue (apart from that being terribly bad style to your users).
