  Hi, quick question...

  I have 2 items that are red in a poster of the Illustrator. They are both on the top layer, under layer has a transparency of a burst of Sun through posters.

  The first red item is a logo that I have to copy/paste from file .ai - East native here (just a name of company (converted to outlines) red text).

  The second red element is a text that I wrote directly in my poster (on the same layer as the 1st element) is the same cmyk Red

  The problem: whenever I have save the poster as a jpg (model for the client), the 2 shows different reds? When I look at the file in the OVERPRINT PREVIEW it shows the reds as different shades, so that I have to correct something.

  Interestingly, the file records in PDF format, (red look alike)- but I don't want the file in PDF format. How can I fix this for a correct visualization as a jpg?

• U2713H monitor shows different colors in different applications on my PC

  I have three monitors U2713H. One is connected to my MAC and poster colours accurately in all applications (photoshop, lightroom, safari, preview browser cs6, iphoto) I open the same photo in all applications.

  THE PROBLEM:
  The other two monitors are connected to my PC (windows 8.1) and the colors are the same in photoshop lightroom, the cc and the windows of Viewer photos, but are very different for office, internet Explorer, paint, infinview). It drives me crazy to work with images, then post it on FB for example and they are very different. I put the monitor setting to the same on MAC and PC, why they colors see the correctly on MAC but different on the PC. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

  Please correct me on each point if I'm wrong and explain why, but to summarize, it is my understanding of all the links and what you said

  1. I get x-rite i1 display pro to my monitor profile

  3. I have to run a calibratoin and set it to Cal1 for cal2 for adobe rgb or srgb

  parameter to use when you run the colormunki? : D65, brightness of 120cd? What the monitor value: 50, brighteness contract 25? all other settings?

  4 use the icc profile of cal 1 srgb to 8.1 windows default device profile and view the profile of conditions, not by default there now which is srgb that accompanies the computer > This will result in IE 11 and office colors better (is IE 11 color chip still like firefox?)

  5 define the profile of Dell U2713H name1 to new cust 1, calibrated profile, in the list of icc profiles if I want srgb or cal2 if I want to adobe RGB

  Hi all, need help. I got a new Acer monitor and I have three questions. The first is when I open photoshop I ger the following error: "ACER S232HL monitor profile seems to be defective. Please return your monitor calibration softwear. "Then it gives me two choices,"Ignore the profile"or"use Anyway. I tried both and they all have two make the images appear differently.   When I plugged in for the first time in the monitor I was using HDMI and I was told this would be the best. When I came across the above problem, it's reccmended for me I use DVI. DVI has helped get richer blacks, but did not help anything else.

  Monitor canned profiles are notoriously inaccurate or downright faulty. Unless you want to go right to the end and calibrate/profile with a bunch of third parties, you are probably much better to simply using sRGB, and that's what happens when you click 'ignore profile.

  It's the same solution in the link you posted, only more complicated.

  Come back if you still see this with sRGB profile. In general, both Ps and Lr are fully color managed and will use the comprehensive monitor for display profile. Most of the other applications are not, so this isn't entirely unexpected in itself.

  Shouldn't matter. Both are completely compatible and the digital video signal is the same.

  You must realize that the hexadecimal notation is meaningless without reference to a specific color space.

  Hex is not different from RGB - the same number will produce a different color in different color spaces. And conversely, the same color will be different hexadecimal numbers in different color spaces.

  Hex was invented before the modern color management and the concept of the color spaces. The only color space, you had back has your monitor, which is of course different from the configuration to the configuration. Then hex has been designed as a convenient method to designate the monitor values. There was never any pretext of accurate color fidelity.

  Today, we have something much better and hex is really outdated and obsolete.

  I suspect that the reason why it has survived for so long, that is that it sounds very "computerish" and geek, and so people incorrectly assume that it has a special meaning. This isn't.

  Get used to working with the RGB values in the color spaces defined and specific. For the web, this would normally be sRGB.

  I'm having a problem with the Tiff feature in InDesign CC.

  I have a series of print drawings that use the same structure: a TIFF color in the background and a Duotone above this one PSD file.
  Most of these models work perfectly. However, for some reason any two of them show a radical change in the color of the background TIFF when I export them to PDF printing. Please note that this is not happening when you create a PDF "Interactive", or another type of file with "Print" PDF.

  Any idea what the problem might be? I checked the source files in Photoshop and I see no difference between these and other pages that export without any problem. But I could be missing something.
  I tried to recreate the same design in a new file, but continues to be the same thing.

  You're showing couture artifact, but they would occur only if you flattened export, but then your export screenshot shows you do not flatten?

  Try to export using the RGB version by default PDF/X-4 and display them in Acrobat.

  Fig 2. Dupe of image and create a mask so that when you change the color of the object, the preponderance of the image remains unchanged.

  Then, change the color

  There are many ways to do it.

  Perhaps the easiest and most direct way to create a gradient, but you would need to edit a lot of stops/nodes (points of color)

  Instead,.

  Dig, make a PATTERN and using PATHS of CLIPPING (as a mask for clipping in Photoshop).

  In this way, you can change the model, the position and the angle of your stripes easily.

  Here's a way to do it:

  1 CREATE A PATTERN.

  I created a series of rectangles with the approximately the shape and color, I want to repeat

  

  2 MAKE A NEW RECTANGLE AND APPLY THE TEMPLATE

  There are many ways to achieve this. We can be to use the background image for the application. Other means may be to use various containers (Panel, canvas etc with background pictures) to get this look. Think of it in HTML view. How you can use the div tags to your page layout, you can use various containers of Flex to your page layout.

  Well Yes, you can do it using css.

  In the css to your page, you can add something like...
