• Migrate a template or a virtual machine between Sites

  Hi, I have a number of virtual machines created in a UAT environment. I can convert these VMs to models OR leave it as what.

  The requirement is to migrate the models to other sites. There is network connectivity between sites, but this is a separate system of SAN. There are the servers in each site that can be used to point to one common share, i.e. a dump file area.

  Via vCenter, I can't see a mechanism to export a model/VM in the OVF format and via the plugin Converter it seems possible to save files to the virtual machine on the disk, but the format of the workstation. In addition, the OVF tool seems to complicated for our needs.

  What process is preferable to move machines between sites - I need the process to be simple as possible.

  The one on your dock is an older version. The darker version of the Muse is the most recent version. Replace your icon on your dock by the most recent.

  You're right that MRS requires 3rd party replication or VMware vSphere replication (or you can use the two together).  SRM itself doesn't replicate anything, she orchestrates and manages the recovery of virtual machines protected by these other mechanisms.

And why some of the pairs do not differ from just one byte (!) in size? Also - why Internet Explorer keep running 'normally', even if I killed the process (iexplore.exe) in the firewall and why do I sometimes get an error of "Explorer finished unexpectedly" Internet to the time when I close the browser?   DELL Precision T5500 w. Intel Xeon 5650 CPU, 12 GB of RAM and Swedish Win7 Pro/64 from an SSD. Version of Internet Explorer is 11. Lots of available storage place on quite 3 hard disks. There is also a domestic network with 3 computers, an iPad, and two printers. Several commercial versions of security software installed reside (MalwareBytes, HitmanPro, ZoneAlarm AV + FW), as well as occasional safe mode analyses, or online, with free stuff (SuperAntiSpyware, HouseCall, TDSSKiller, CCleaner, etc.). No unusual activity not found yet, the system is apparently clean.

  On most systems, the folder that 'account' is the folder C:\Windows\System32 (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive).  On a 64-bit system, those will be 64-bit on those files.

  In the 64-bit installations there will also be a SysWOW64 folder (not present on 32-bit systems) that will look much like the system32 folder.

  The SysWOW64 folder (Windows on Windows) is where Windows keeps 32 bit copy of an application that may be required from time to time on your 64 bit system.

  The files in System32 and SysWOW64 may be the same, they may be a little different, they may be very different but Windows will use the appropriate files when it should.

  If this sounds like a behavior very normal and expected.

  Don't know what 'why Internet Explorer continue to function 'normally', even if I killed the process (iexplore.exe) in the firewall' means (how can you kill IE in the firewall?).  Why do you have to kill the process of IE in the first place?

  Windows comes with a built-in so firewall if you have installed ZoneAlarm and use its firewall, this facility should have been smart enough to disable the built in Windows Firewall.

  When you try to create a layout of desktop-based Tablet or phone you can get 3 options open to copy the layout of office. This do not understand the content placed in the pages.

  

  However, you can view each page individually and can copy the contact that you want to move the tablet or phone. then open the same presentation page of the Tablet/phone and use Edit > paste in Place then move and resize the elements according to the size of the layout.

  I need now to move them to the Production, but to move them to the same Version as all my other hierarchies.  Is there an easy way to do this?

  I guess I'll migrate both Versions in Production, then move each hierarchy to the CurrentWorkingVersion.  I just need to know how to move between different Versions?

  in fact, I try to import a .dmp file on server through client machine using sqlplus D2K6i... it's on 32-bit and server sits on the 64-bit architecture... I've done necessary enrolment on tnsnames.ora customer to connect to the server...
  
  I can connet to respective customer user, I am also able to perform certain procedures, but when I tried to import a dump file to the server from the same client, then it gives check failed IMP-00010 header... I took recently dump file and of course he is not corrupted...
  
  
  so, what could be the reason of the IMP-00010?
