• What is the best way to create a waiver form?

  Hi all:

  I have a client who needs all the members of the gym to sign the waiver. He wishes that the disclaimer posted on the WordPress site so members can just fill out and submit so that the entire PDF goes to his email. Data export does not serve his purposes, because if there is a problem, he would have to produce the real PDF they have filled.

  I already have the PDF form non-interactive because it has used to make this pen and paper only.

  A few questions on how to proceed:

  If I just add fields to the form and create a "submit" button, how to make the button send email PDF all to himself?

  Is it possible to test this on my computer or what I publish on its Web site to test?

  Is there a way to make the button submit a ' record under / change file name ' and a 'sending' so that when the file is to email it is not called 'generic file name' it's called "Dave Smith"?

  Or should I go with a center of Adobe forms Solution? If so, which?

  It is one of the options in the send command. You will see when you add it.

  You can test it from any computer. Regardless of whether the form is on a Web site or not, because it will be always stored as a copy seen.

  No, unless you can install a script on the computer of each user that will use it... So in other words, no.

  What you can do, however, is to use a script to send the file, that can set the subject line of the email name of the user, but it's a little more complex than using the built-in submit command.

  It is more universal, but less flexible. I think you can set up a free trial and try it...

• Where can I download the sample files LCA described in the documentation?

• Data transmission of form through the URL arguments

  Is it possible to pass the data as arguments to a URL link that will populate the fields of a particular form?

  Yes, you do, it doesn't happen automatically. All features must be implemented in JavaScript, and the data must be encoded in the URL, using the quotation marks around of the field values is not kosher. Spaces must be encoded using the character '+' or ' % 20 ', for example.» Other characters must be encoded in the same way. Any reference that explains the URL encoding will have more information.

  The sample that I have which includes the necessary JavaScript code an acroform, not an XFA form, then it would be a help for you. You need to set up a script that runs when the document is opened (for an XFA document docReady event). The script should get the value of event.target.path (or event.target.URL), gets the query string (the part after the? characters in the URL) and analyzes the name pairs / value. It then uses this data to set field values.

  Edit: You may be able to implement the code using FormCalc, but I use it a lot, so I can't help with that part.

  Hello

  I'm new to the tiara, I went through the basics, hands on etc. But I was not able to make much progress with my problem.

  I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on how to proceed.

  I have generated TDMS files every hour for 90 days. Yes a test lasts 90 days, and there are several stations!

  There are different groups within each file and each group has his stamp on LabVIEW.

  I need to automate the generation of some fact reports daily, weekly, monthly etc.

  So here are my thoughts:

  combine 23 files using copy \b + ... day.tdms

  Shrink files by taking only every nth sample to form day_reduced.tdms.

  Combine all the day_reduced to form month.tdms

  I'm not a big fan of the duplication of data, but I don't have much time to try things, is the highest ok?

  Please help/comment!

  Concatenate the TDMS files outside the tiara is certainly a good option - the concatenation of BACK option is pretty darn fast, but as you say that duplicates of the data.  Another option would be to reduce the load each data file in DIAdem and concatenate them in the data portal.

  Is there a way you can send or post more of these data files, so I can see directly what you're dealing with?

• Rename image downloading with piece of WebApp

  Hello

  I use the image field default web app to allow customers to upload images as well as web application objects. This works fine unless the name of the image is not fair. Say they use "!," or other characters not used in the name of the image and the image is not recovered with the web application element.

  How can I control the process of change of name of the image? I noticed BC in addition to the id of the item image web name and another number, but it is possible to get rid of unallowed cadquã in the name?

  Please let me know how this could be achieved (with perhaps JS?). Its a big problem when users download lots of images of their personal galleries and other gallery watched one stops because of a link is broken.

  Talents have their profiles with galleries. I use lightbox JS to go through the gallery and if they download 20 images and say 11 is broken, none of the others can be consulted.

• ORA 12170: Connection timeout error: need help

  The scenario is this: I have Oracle 11 g R2 installed on a server to Windows Server 2008 (32-bit). The database SID is "PGM". I am access (or want to access remotely to) the Oracle database in Visual Studio 2008 (customer environment) development environment running on a Windows XP (SP3) platform. I have already installed the package of the ODAC (ver. 11.2.0.2.1) for the Visual Studio environment.
  
  I created a sample Windows Forms application that uses the Oracle data access components. The example of HR schema in the Oracle database is already unlocked. This is the pattern that I use in the application.
  
  The issue that I am facing is that when I add the data connection in the Visual Studio environment. Feature "Test connection" returns the following error: ORA-12170 ... Connection has expired.
  
  I checked the TNSNAMES file. File of the ORA and everything is as listed in the Oracle documentation. It's as follows:

  Try adding a PGE in the SID_LIST_LISTENER of the listener.ora file and that you can do using the Net Manager and its operation is explained here

  I need help, desperately.

  I made a form using Desinger ES2 and define its target version 9.1 or later.  When it is rendered in the browser/standalone with Reader Version 9.0, he'd jump on ' no valid enumerated value: validationState ', twice...

  I do a version check to the formReady form event, it hides the form if the version is not > = 9.1, as well as opens a message box telling the user that they do not have the latest player and should be updated or the shape would not display or function correctly.  BUT our customer is still not satisfied with the sollution and complains to see this popup when they load in 9.0.

  I need help getting rid of this popup in version 9.0 please.

  Hi Nelson,.

  First off I would recommend that you do not remove script from inside the XML Source. Yes, it is possible, but could easily break your form, potentially irreparable.

  If you select the root node (form1) and go into the script editor. Then see the ValidationState select drop-down list, you can quickly scroll down, and in this case to find the script object. I suspect that this is in any case in the form1 node.

  My experience is that when you disable required fields of color in the properties of the form, this LC Designer removes the automatically generated code. If you changed the code beforehand, he could not detect it and remove it.

  Compared to v9 and below there are a number of ways to manage the validation - is doable, but not as simple as v9.1. I would recommend John Brinkman's blog because it has some samples of forms strongly (but stylishly) coded "show errors". http://blogs.adobe.com/formfeed/. Search for 'validation '.

  Send a standard button will pick up if a required field is null and automatically highlighted in red. However for the fields that are needed and have a value OR fields that are not required and have an invalid value, LC/Acrobat will allow to highlight these in red.

  Out-of-the-box validation will give you an error message if the value is not valid. That happens off the field and on submit - no coloring. You can add a line of code for the other buttons (such as print), or in the case of pre-press, to validate before they perform their own script:

• ORA-01445: cannot select ROWID, or sample, a view of join without key - preserved table form w/report and LOV

  I create a page "Form on a Table with Report" (APEX 5). Table I has 3 columns: cat_key, item_value, item_description. The cat_key is a foreign key in a table with columns cat_key, cat_value. I created the report and everything works fine.  The page of the report shows my domain cat_key in number, so I want it instead to display the cat_value. I change the field cat_key to a text based on LOV, select my LOV and now when I view the page of report I get the "'ORA-01445: cannot select ROWID from where sample, a join without key preserved table view ' error." The report uses the ROWID as a link to the edit page field.

  If I use the same tables and even shared LOV in a report page interactive, it works fine.

  What I am doing wrong?

  This is a limitation of the IR Apex will rewrite your query to a query that includes the lookup table and the columns. So now you have actually created a query on an inline view, which causes the error. You can see the query apex created when running in debug mode. APEX will join the table of choice with your primary table. For example from one of my IR:

• After you have created the sample application planning you see no form?

  11.1.2.2 hyperion planning, I recently created a sample planning an application but I do not see the forms under it.
  
  The steps I did:
  I created the planning app example
  then connect to the workspace > navigate > plan app > Administration > Application > Referesh DB
  
  I can see the types of plan created on essbase server but I see not all forms under form folder in the application I created. I'm using Oracle 11 g DB.
  
  Can someone explain why?

  For IE, go to tools > compatibility view settings, uncheck the box "sites intranet view in compatibility view.

  Selection is based on three tables that have primary keys, the keys are selected, and whenever I run the page I get the following error:-

  The query runs very well in the TOAD

  We also changed our Wizard to create only validations for columns that are selected to be updated (in the wizard on the page in a table). And in the case of the application wizard, we examine if the columns have been excluded on the edit page popup page, and they are set to read-only through the default user interface. If you should only get validations for the columns that are modifiable, view-only / save state or hidden. We include only display / save state and hidden, because in both cases, you have actual shape on your page elements, which could easily be manipulated through common web tools.

  Is it possible to save a form to fill out, so that it retains the full data but it flattens? So that the fields are no longer present?

  Thanks, but I work for an agency in New York and is software installed requires vetting who most of the presidential candidates do not have to bear (obviously). I went to print production > Flattener Preview and that did the trick.

• All the 'timecodes' now showing in the form of Audio samples

  It's very strange, timecodes are is not displayed as Audio samples, no temporal codes.  If 00:00:27:12 is displayed as 00:00:27:50000 (or something similar).  How do this back to timecode, googeling tried with no luck. (.

  Click on the key on the monitor of the program and uncheck the option "show Audio time units.

  I was wondering if anyone knows how to set the text that is temporarily in a text field in a form.
