  Always 'class not registered' is the answer to why MovieMaker cannot import as many files. I finally realized that if I have all the "Windows"associated files with QuickTime (which I do often because QuickTime Pro has been my editor that works, but I wish you MovieMaker to work because he has a different user interface that doesn't have a QuickTime Pro and it also looks like a very good program)

  Well of course MovieMaker will say that he has not "registered class. But then I associate any Windows, and I use Windows Media Player on Windows media files (it is a ball game all nother as to why PhotoStory3 will not identify ANYTHING either import in Windows Media Player and its unbearable playlists because (sorry but really... Sorry... but these are really statements and probably a reason why people eventually switch to Mac. Windows Media Player wants to control how PhotoStory3 works and opens to your media... he wants to sort that you want to associate with it in a way that is so incredibly frustrating and it moves all the time, so that you don't know what's left in an archive it seems always continually come up with... UGH)

  Yes, back to Movie Maker. Sorry... but it turns out that Movie Maker also does not seem to recognize any "class" of files that it needs to import easily. My WMV files and *.wma and.. *.avi. but he says: "class not registered". And believe me, that I am registered in each file that appears to be a DLL "library", which I guess MovieMaker can make reference. I'm out of my element when it comes to talk about these 'libraries' and controls, but I signed repeatedly 5 main DLLs in Movie Maker as well as the outside System32 DLL which seem to have an impact on it.

  I have trouble while registering the 3 final files into MovieMaker that all look the same. I keep holding out that maybe this will be the trick to get MovieMaker to work. At LEAST for the mounting clip player to operate. Does anyone know where this video player is native of...... It is also associated with Windows Media Player. And as I'm probably suspect... what I find the most space on my computer or go buy more memory (there is no place to install more unless I probably get a new computer) to get this video player to work.

  So the *.dlls 3 in MovieMaker can't register are:

  And finally the codecs associated with MovieMaker. I even went into this program identification codec under DirectX diagnosis... "Softella Filter Manager" or something like that... and I poured through it and find all instances of the MovieMaker filter DLL and I have reUpped its relevance in each case his link with some codec. I don't know exactly what I'm saying here but in the list of codecs and filters... so many things related or listed with the MovieMaker wmm2filt.dll - they were designated never "use".  And I clicked on them which has arisen again. All that that means I don't know but I thought she would at least give feedback in the program and tell him... It is used.

  Sorry for my long rant. I obviously do not include programming that much, but I tour and research about and I was out with these two programs (Windows MovieMaker 2.1 and 3.1 PhotoStory) for a month or more... trying to make them work.

• using a mac for sansa clip +.

  If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. I use a mac powerbook g4 to download songs on my clip +.  I changed the song in MP3 format. My clip + recognizes the songs I load, but for some reason, it adds a second copy of each song that is a fraction of a second of time. No matter what I try, I can't seem to load without these blasted second copies.

  I found a way around the. second _ copy.  It was another thread for the clip.  There is a program for mac called kopymac that can be downloaded for free on www.macupdate.com.  This action solved the problem completely.  Thanks for the help.

• Sansa clip + does not see the audio books I have loaded

  I got my Sansa Clip MP3 player + for two years and it works very well, so far.  I only use it for audio books.  Recently, I reformatted the player and loaded new books in.  When I went to read, the audio books folder was empty.  I have connected the player to the computer again, and the books were in the audio books folder, where I had loaded.

  I've updated the firmware to the V01.02.16A Version, and there was no change.  I tried to reset by pressing the start button. No change.

  Memory has 3750 MB with 3135 free, indicating that there are books in memory, but the player does not see the.  What is going on?

  That's all!  I checked the format of audio files.  It is the AAFC, with suffix .m4a.

  The Sansa manual says:

  "The Sansa® MP3 Player will support MP3, WAV, WMA, secure WMA, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis and audiobook formats.  I guess that AAC is not one of the formats that they support.  So I have to convert .m4a to .mp3.  I guess there are a lot of tools to do it.  Any suggestions about which one is the best?

  There can someone please offer some advice for me and my husband before we became completely crazy?

  We bought for our daughter the Sansa Clip +, but we are having the same problem occur over and over again.

  During his music and audio books have first been loaded above all was fine. Added items displayed in the files and the right places but, now, for some reason when we add anything, the record of the album can be seen, but it also creates an additional folder that displayed as "Unknown". When you go and try to play inside this folder it does not work... "We always ensure that there is proper use of marking we MP" tag, so I know that the questions are not because of it.

  We have tried everything we can think of. Tried to update but I think we already have the latest version installed in any case - V01.02.18P, performed a factory reset, put in shape and I have tried using different modes, but it makes no sense. Why everything fine was a couple of days and not now...

  We use a 16 GB Kingston SDHC Card inside the Clip +.

  Please any ideas would be welcome because it becomes a nightmare.

• Being probably really stupid, but I can not get my Playlists on my Sansa Clip

  Hello!

  You just bought a Sansa Clip 8 GB for the United Kingdom and I'm very happy with it - many of my CD then tried to get smart (?) transferred by creating a playlist, put a few songs in there and synhcing to the top with Clip - no joy!  The read-only list that I see on the Clip is "GoList" and the only way I can add songs to the one on the camera itself - not ideal but doable.

  Have updated the firmware on the clip to the latest version with no improvement - can't seem to curb any personal playlists - I even tried to create a playlist called 'GoList' to see if ir would crush the GoList playlist on the clip.  There can be no.

  I use the clip with Windows Xp Home Edition (SP3) which has WMP 11.0.5721.5260 and have the unit as automatic detection modes MSC and MTP mode did not work (the computer does not recognize the device)... I think that mode MSC, PlayLists don't synch?

  Any help / advice would be appreciated gratefully.

  Thank you very much - now that I know that playlists are not supposed to synchronize in MSC mode, I'll invest my energy to get the mode MTP to work... just thought I was missing something really obvious.  In terms of achievement of the MTP mode work there are loads of articles and advice in this forum and elsewhere on that - I probably need a update driver MTP or need a better version/reinstall WinXP HE or something like.

  As I am totally new to the unit - and digital music in general (been in the dark ages too long!) I really did not know what, if anything I was doing wrong.  Your answer really helped (and it is not indicated in the user manual or the docs supplied with the device) once again, thanks a lot.

  Hi, I got my Sansa Clip in 2008, and about a year later, I have it lent to a friend of mine. She told me that the next day she thinks she accused it too because now it does if it is supported. I tried to reset it up to two minutes, but it is still not running. If I load it, it turns on but shows only the recurring Sandisk logo and the image of the home and a computer with arrows moving between the two. This also happens with my computer when connected it is recognized and I can check the music files and all, but it turns off immediately when I get disconnected. I did this on and off for the past 3 years. A way to solve it myself or get it fixed somewhere?

  Sounds like the solder on the battery leads joint broke. It's a common disease of the first (original) Clips. It's probably just a coincidence that it happened the same time you he lent to a friend.

  If you are of the adventurous and handy kind with tiny son and a soldering iron, you might be able to fix it yourself. If not, transfer all your music out of her (if she is not already saved on your computer, which should be), recycle responsibly and get a new one.

  His replacement, the Clip + is a wonderful and worthy descendant. Better than the original in my opinion.

  Thank you! It worked, so I'm on the road to recovery. I didn't argue with Amazon to return the thing. I had an older Clip which lasted many years and never gave me any problems, so I was concerned when this new one did not work properly out of the box.

• Sansa clip + does not load correctly

  My sansa clip + acted weird lately. When my battery runs out and stops automatically my sansa, I just go free. It takes about an hour to go from 0% to about 65%. but after that, it slows down the charging process a lot. in two hours, it will go up only about 10%. my computer is marking battery bad? also: so that my computer "Refresh" the battery I have to unplug the usb and plug it back in. all tips would be appreciated, thanks

  It's the way they are supposed to work. When the charge level of the battery increases, the load in the drive circuit slows down the amount of fees being accepted since the source until it is just a trickle. In this way it does not generate too much heat build up that is detrimental to both the player and the battery itself.

  And Yes, if you connect in MTP mode you can see the level of charge on your computer. But it will not refresh unless you disconnect and reconnect. Besides, you can see as well information on the player screen if you need to see a real battery level percentage. But it still takes say connection of your computer to see this.

  I think that if you use a charger AC - UCB this info is at your disposal, even while charging. I don't know if it updates in real-time, however.

• loading clips in loadmovienum... trying to load in the background

  I swear it was working before, but I must have changed something because now it is not. I have a few clips that im trying to carry the load in the background without being visible during the initial loading. To achieve this, I went with something like that on the first frame of the main clip:

  p.s. the _visible property is reset in charge-targets may not be used to hide loading swf/images.  You can use the property _alpha because who is not reset in charge-targets.  but, even once, the target must exist before you can reference it.  your best solution, if you want to use _level4, is to place a blank Keyframe in your external swf in the frame 1 and attach a stop() to this framework.  Once the upload is complete, apply a play() method to _level4 when you want to play.

• ESPN3 replays fail to load, but the events live OK. I tried to reinstall FF15, FF12, Flash plugin. Nothing works. In IE live and replays loading.

  The problem started 2 days ago, when ESPN3 replay events stopped loading. Reading seems to be loading but never finishes although the events live do not load.
