Sansa Fuse and Foobar2000

New owner of Sansa Fuse.

I can drag / drop flac audio to my hard drive using Windows Explorer. But I can't drag / drop from Foobar 2000 where I organized my albums and playlists? Is it possible to do?

< i've="" also="" got="" a="" mirror="" library="" using="" a-tunes.="" cannot="" drag="" drop="" from="" there="" either.="">

Thanks in advance.

Sansa is a V1, with the latest Firmware updates and uses a Micro SDHC 8 GB. Sounds good and works fine otherwise.

Sorry... you need the plugin 'sendtodevice' of http://fb2k.org/show.php?id=263

I thought that this was from the beginning, or maybe a box on setup of foobar.

  • Sansa Fuse said free 90 MB

Help someone!  My Sansa Fuse continues to tell me that there is not enough space for music DB and free 90 MB, then it turns off automatically.  I can not format or do something with it, because it stops immediately once I get this message.  Also, when I go into WMP to try to remove some of the songs, they appear nowhere.  I don't know what else to do.  If someone else has had this problem and knows how to solve, I would greatly appreciate help.  Thank you very much.

I am also having the same problem.  He began this morning.  I'm syncing songs yesterday and when I disconnected the computer this morning, I got the same message you want.  Someone please help with this if you have a solution

  • Sansa fuse with rhapsody

I can not get Rhapsody to recognize my 8 GB sansa fuse.  It was originally the case, but now won't.  It will recognize my 4 GB fuse.  I have 8 GB sansa fuse with 1 GB expansion card.  I have the latest version 1.2 installed.  I have the latest version of the Rhapsody software installed.

Plug your rocket in MTP mode, and then open Windows Explorer (my computer).  Where do you see your rocket?  It should appear as a device of media listed under "other".

For Rhapsody work with your rocket, the computer needs to communicate with your device in two modes, with PSG for happy To Go (subscription).  MSC, purchased individual tracks or albums can be transferred.

In Rhapsody 4 client, if the "rocket" is visible in MTP mode, it will show as a Sansa Fuze 4 GB for example.  If the device is in MSC, we will see something while CAPITALS such as E: SANSA FUZE.

If you don't see any devices listed, or if the rocket does not list in Windows Explorer, open the Device Manager to repair the connection.  Rhapsody simply asks Windows for devices recognized, so let's see your PC communicates properly with the Sansa.

On the "rocket", when you plug it in, makes her snap view writing / reading and then a connected icon?  This means there is no data transfer on USB connection (of the least, according to the Sansa).  You should see the activity, or hear the sound "ding" on your computer that the device is recognized.

Device Manager located in batches if means, try to use right click on my computer, select manage, then click on Device Manager.  The "rocket" will be under Portable device.  Click on that, then the "rocket" appears.  Double-click on the "rocket", or right-click and select Uninstall.

Then disconnect the "rocket", restart your computer, then once it is in place and running, try plugging your rocket.  We should see "new device found" and the drivers for your rocket should be reinstalled (part of Windows Media Player for the PSG).

  • Sansa fuze and preprogrammed sd card

We bought only two players from sansa fuze and a couple of cards slotradio pre-programmed.  The cards work fine on a rocket, on the other hand that it says "media refresh" and radio slot icon never appears on the player.  I know that's not the card because she works on the other.  Any advice?  Thank you.

Thank you!  Who did the trick!

  • Fuse and Podcasts

I read where WMA audio books work best on the fuse when played podcast. In my Windows Media Player11 Sansa Fuse section, I'm not able to change the podcast genre, because it does not appear as an option. Podcasts appear on the player itself, but I can't find anything on the drive to change the kind of podcast. Any suggestions on this.

Problem solved. My digital audio files begins again where I turn it off then my problem is solved.

I don't know what caused this, but if your will there are some things you can try to get your rocket work.

If you do not want to try that.   Don't forget to call the assistance of Sansa, and they can help you.

Connect the "rocket" to your PC and format the memory on the "rocket".    Find the "rocket" in Windows Exporer, open the "Sansas rocket" and right-click on the internal memory, select format.

Once completed the reflash the Firmware format.   Instructions here > http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board/message?board.id=sansafuse&thread.id=9473

Disconnect the "rocket" and reload your music.

Please report back with questions and let us know how things went

    See you soon

Do not forget before recharge you, torun formatutility under settings the "rocket of" > system settings > Format > Yes. What clusters are in a configuratation the "rocket" makse love.

  • Fuse Sansa, volume and variation

    Hi again

Starts just to the right in advance at this point that when I raise the volume to about 75% + my music begins to jitter/skip.

I have no idea why this is happening, it just started!

    Any help?

    Brad

I'm okay the first thing you should probably do is check that the head/earphone is sitting firmly and completely into the outlet. If not completely inserted, this can result in intermittent "break", especially at high volume as you describe. Wrap the plug as you push on it and see if it will not go a little further.

What is a new player, or a new helmet? Have you tried different headphones? Is it just past with you have recently added new songs or all? If it's just the latest stuff, it would be "clipping" wheich you get with a lot of latest recorded music. You can pitch at a reasonable level and eliminate (or reduce) the shadow with MP3Gain, provided of course that they are .mp3 files.

  • cFP-DO-401 fuses and flyback diodes

    I use a cFP-DO-401 to command 24V solenoid.

    On
page 4 of the Handbook of PSC-DO-401, it says to merge output with 1. 5A
fuses fast action, that makes sense. But rather than put one online
fuse on each of the 16 threads, anyone know of a fuse block or
module which must be connected between the cFP-CB-1 module and the CFP
    bottom of basket?

In addition, on page 8 of the manual, it shows that
The cFP-DO-401 has inside flyback diodes, but then he says OR recommends
using those outside. Why external are needed if the cFP-DO-401
    already has them?

    Mosey,

Here is the link to that which is available from Digi-Key.  http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?detail&name=277-1569-ND Allen Bradley also makes a line of similar pieces.

  • Sansa Clip and Slacker Radio?

  • Sansa Clip + and a Mac

I have a Mac with Maverick 10.9.2. I was looking for an MP3 rather than the MP4 to iTunes. The Amazon comments suggested the Clip +.

I closed iTunes, plugged in the Clip +, opemned music and dragged air from a CD. I got alrteady put the clip on MSC.

I ejected the Sansdisk icon, unplugged and the Clip + says no songs. I did it in every way I can think of and no still no music.

Am I missing something, is my defective video or is it simply not made for Macs.  FM works well make me think that the problem is only the Mac for Clip + communication.

    Thank you

It is not incompatible - you just need to mp3 files that are compatible in all areas.

What you tried to do with the CD would not work with an iPod either. If you look at a CD on a computer that shows the types of files, you will see a list of .cda files. These are basically the index on CD - they say the music (iTunes, Windows Media Player) Player where to look for the disk.  You put a bunch of the index files of tiny 44 KB on your player - they do not play. Not a question of compatibility, just wandering way work.

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/.cda_file

CD needs always to be converted or ripped - Apple calls it 'imported' - so their files can be used in a music player - doPi, Sansa, Sony, phone, whatever.

If you leave the default settings in iTunes it will tear .m4a files - files Apple owners. If you change the default settings for iTunes (search for the import settings, iTunes continues to move them around) then you can make it the default .mp3 320 Kbps, which is compatible with all autour.

If you are an audiophile you want to rip in FLAC instead, which would take different software - but assuming that you use the high-end portable headphones music player less, to 320 mp3 is fine.

If you have a library formats Apple iTunes, you can convert them to mp3 in iTunes. You can get a Zip Clip instead, or geek and use Rockbox to play the m4a files on the Clip.

If you're new to CD, you can pull them out directly to .mp3.

By the way, I hate both the latest version of iTunes. They completely screwed up the interface. You can try to roll back to a version that you like:

  • Purchase of Sansa Clip and memory card

I'm about to buy a Sansa Clip. I was planning on getting a 2 GB mp3 and the purchase of a 16 GB memory card.
My question is, will they work together? A 16 GB card will work in a 2 GB drive? And the memory card should be SanDisk or can it be any business?

Your help and your answers would be greatly appreciated!

The Clip doesn't have a slot for card, only the Clip + and Clip Zip. Any size to maximum 32 GB will work. Any brand should work, but there has been reports of some brands does not not with the Zip model. That was supposed to be addressed in an update of the firmware, but to play in the trunk, I'd buy a SanDisk brand.

And you can consider getting a larger capacity of 2 GB player. The extra cost is not much, and this extra room will be useful. Music libraries tend to develop, especially now that you have a cool gadget little listening to load them on.

  • Problem with my Sansa plu and the switching of computers?

I have a Sandisk Sansa clip plus 8 GB. Recently, I switched from windows to Ubuntu, and even if the player is filled with music, the (MSC mode) folder is empty on the computer! I guess that's because I used windows/windows media player and MTP mode. When I transfer new music, it normally appears on the player and the computer. But the old music normally played on the player - seems to have gone on the computer.what can do about it?

    Thank you

I guess that's the issue of the MSC/MTP mode:

When the drive is connected to your computer using the USB MSC (the value of the player in settings/USB mode), your computer only sees the files that had been moved to the drive when the drive is connected in MSC mode.  Similarly with regard to the MTP mode.  However, all the files appear and can be played on your player, under some USB mode setting.

A reason why some people prefer to set the USB Mode on their player to MSC or MTP: setting Auto, the Player tries to connect in MTP mode but then you will return in MSC mode if the connection of the MTP does not; as a result, you can have a mixture of MSC and MTP mode transferred the files to your drive, making some of them isn't visible on your computer without going to the other USB mode.

Because MSC mode is more universal (playing with a wide range of operating systems, including Linux and on Mac, and without the need for Windows Media Player on the computer), some people prefer MSC mode.  However, note that the DRM (digital rights management) files need MTP mode - they will not transfer enough (the DRM license will not transfer) in MSC mode.

If you currently have a mixture of music MTP and MSC mode on your Clip, you can: put the Clip fashionable want to 'delete' your reader. to connect to your computer; Copy your music on your computer and delete the originals of your Clip. Unplug your Clip to the computer; Set the USB mode to your Clip to the other mode, that you want to use in the future. Reconnect your Clip to the computer; Re - transfer your music from your computer to the Clip; and disconnect.  And now, to keep the Clip value mode USB mode (it can set after an update firmware - always doublecheck it after an upgrade).  Voila!

  • Sansa Fuze and Fedora 11 and Banshee (linux)

OK I use Fedora 11, I loaded the Banshee on my system I can convert songs on my player. I can't convert videos on my player so I can watch videos and movies?  What can I use to coincide with the Sansa fuze using Fedora 11? or would that be a wrong format because fedora is ogg. the format? And which converter am I suppose to use to get my videos?

A second solution for video conversion on any linux system is described in this thread. You can go directly to the "accepted solution". It is easy to set up and runs from the command line.
