SAP GUI Excel export

So I have my LogonPad SAP presented to my Linked Clones with ThinApp and everything works great except for one thing. When you use the export to excel function of the reports, the file is created in the appropriate location, but Excel is not be opened with this file. The user can manually open excel and find the file, but I would really like back automation that exists when all is native installed. Native Office is installed, and the Win 7 x 64 operating system. I wonder if the problem is that SAP a) was captured on Win XP and Office b) was not installed when the SAP was captured.

IM wondering, even if it goes a little against how a ThinApp should be seized, I should capture SAP on the master VM for the linked Clones?  Office is installed and the operating system is obviously the same, but the downside would be that this ThinApp capture could be used on my Linked Clones and not elsewhere.

Does anyone have any ideas or ideas for me?

By default, ThinApp will not look in the native applications installed on the operating system.

To activate SAP GUI ThinApp lean on the desktop native (to open Excel), please add the lines below in the SAP GUI ThinApp package.ini and rebuild the package by running the build.bat file.

VirtualizeExternalOutOfProcessCOM = 0

  • store data in an excel export

    Hello

    I'm trying to save data in a table, but when I export in an excel data sheet, I saw only last results (same results on every lines)...

    Please can someone help me on this issue... I want to keep my results for each measure... See attached my VI and excel export...

    Thank you very much for the support

    Rémi

    Hi Remi,.

    I think the first thing we do is to examine how the tables are created and manipulated in LabVIEW.

    In your code if you want to add a line for each measure, do not use the table "initialize".  Instead of creating an array with the value you are currently using in function "Initialize the array" (workaround then the picture "initialize"), the result will be a line that you can add in your spreedsheet.

  • SAP GUI and integration of MS-Word

    Hi all

    We try thinapp SAP GUI.

    We followed the preparation of Solution VMware document "SAP GUI with VMware Thinapp virtualization".

    Normally, for an edition of the text, a word element is integrated in sapgui.

    To do this, it downloads a word "SAPscriptWord2007" template

    Here the problem comes.

    With the thinapp, the sapgui downloads the file in \AppData\Roaming\Thinstall\SAPGUI\%AppData%\Microsoft\templatesusernameC:\Users\

    Which makes sense, because it is the thinapp location.

    But then, he's trying to load the model from \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\TemplatesusernameC:\Users\

    The test is performed:

    -remove the template in two directories of model

    -Start sapgui thinapp and start text change application

    = > error: cannot locate the stencil

    -file model found in \AppData\Roaming\Thinstall\SAPGUI\%AppData%\Microsoft\templatesusernameC:\Users\

    -Copy the file C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Thinstall\SAPGUI\%AppData%\Microsoft\templates on C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates model

    = > sapgui textedit application works.

    I don't know if it's a problem of Thinapp or SAP

    Could you help her?

    Thanks for your help!

    Buijspa

    I think the problem is:

    • a % Appdata % sup with attributes.ini containing DirectoryIsolationMode = WriteCopy

    Isolation of the WriteCopy mode means that:

    • Editing virtual items go to the sandbox
    • Changes to the components of the system go to the sandbox
    • The new elements will be created on the sandbox *.

    You need to change it to : fusion so that these rules will be applied:

    • Editing virtual items go to the sandbox
    • Changes to the components of the system go into the system
    • The new elements will be created on the system *.

    * - your SAP creates new files and those stored in the sandbox that is not accessible by native applications installed/other virtualized. Those are able to be accessed only by SAP virtualized. When you change this behavior new files will be stored in the system, and all applications will be able to access.

    Change it, rebuild the package, remove the hourglass and try it.

  • ADF Table Excel Export

    Hi friends!

    I use Jdev 11.1.2.3.0

    I have to approach when you export a table to CSV

    FIRST APPROACH (export Excel):

    the first is the very well know to use a

    <af:commandButton text="test" id="btnExport">
              <af:exportCollectionActionListener type="excelHTML" exportedId="tbItms"/>
    </af:commandButton>

    where tbItms is the id of the table that contains the data.

    Well, this table has a column where I need to show the lines separated by lines of rupture

    such as:

    Column 1 Column 2 Column 3
    blahblahblahblah

    column2stuff column2stuff column2stuff column2stuff

    column2stuff column2stuff column2stuff column2stuff

    column2stuff column2stuff column2stuff column2stuff

    blahblahblahblah
    blahblahblahblah

    column2stuff column2stuff column2stuff column2stuff

    column2stuff column2stuff column2stuff column2stuff

    column2stuff column2stuff column2stuff column2stuff

    blahblahblahblah

    You see to Column2? Well, I tried this in my session façade by adding "\n" at the end of the line, but without success

    SECOND APPROACH (export to CSV format):

    I do the same thing by adding the '\n '.

    but I use:

    <af:commandButton text="Exportar" id="btnExportar" immediate="true"
                                          binding="#{backingBeanScope.backing_transporte_factura_frm_consultar_pre_factura.btnExportar}">
                            <af:fileDownloadActionListener filename="pre_factura.csv" contentType="text/csv"
                                                       method="#{backingBeanScope.backing_transporte_factura_frm_consultar_pre_factura.exportData}"/>
                        </af:commandButton>

        public void exportData(FacesContext facesContext, OutputStream outputStream) throws IOException,
                                                                                            WriteException {
            BufferedWriter writer = new BufferedWriter(new OutputStreamWriter(outputStream,"UTF-8"));
            List<BeanItemPreFactura> lstBeanItmsPF = beanSessionConsPreFactura.getLstBeanItemPreFactura();
            writer.write("ORDEN");       writer.write(SEPARADOR_CSV);writer.write("GUIAS");   writer.write(SEPARADOR_CSV);
            writer.write("DESCRIPCION"); writer.write(SEPARADOR_CSV);writer.write("DESTINO"); writer.write(SEPARADOR_CSV);
            writer.write("CLIENTE");     writer.write(SEPARADOR_CSV);writer.write("SUBTOTAL");writer.write(SEPARADOR_CSV);
            writer.write("IGV SUBTOTAL");writer.write(SEPARADOR_CSV);writer.write("TOTAL");
            writer.newLine();
            Iterator it = lstBeanItmsPF.iterator();
            while(it.hasNext()){
                BeanItemPreFactura guia = (BeanItemPreFactura) it.next();
                writer.write(guia.getOrden()+"");          writer.write(SEPARADOR_CSV);
                writer.write(guia.getGuiasConcat()+"");    writer.write(SEPARADOR_CSV);
                writer.write(guia.getGuiasItmsConcat()+"");writer.write(SEPARADOR_CSV);
                writer.write(guia.getDestino()+"");        writer.write(SEPARADOR_CSV);
                writer.write(guia.getCliente()+"");        writer.write(SEPARADOR_CSV);
                writer.write(guia.getSubtotal()+"");       writer.write(SEPARADOR_CSV);
                writer.write(guia.getIgvSubtotal()+"");    writer.write(SEPARADOR_CSV);
                writer.write(guia.getTotalItem()+"");      writer.write(SEPARADOR_CSV);
                writer.newLine();
            }
            writer.flush();
            writer.close();
        }

    And when I export the CSV format due to line breaks "\n" I get it like this: the \n create new lines in the excel worksheet

    ,
    Column 1column 2column 3
    blahblahblahblah

    column2stuff column2stuff column2stuff column2stuff

    blahblahblahblahcolumn2stuff column2stuff column2stuff column2stuffblahblahblahblah

    The second approach was taken: http://sreevardhanadf.blogspot.com/2012/05/exporting-master-child-data-to-file.html#comment-form

    but he did in the usual way (without having to create new lines within a cell) I tried to use \r\n but without success

  • Very small loss of values command during excel export

    Hello

    I am from this problem when exporting data in Excel using the function "write into a file position.

    I am in a position a small capacity, picoFarad agenda, and it is reported correctly on my screen of output on the front panel (example: 4, 457E-12) but when I export the data with the function "write to a file as ' as an Excel all picofarad order values are approximated to zero.

    This problem does not happen if I chose to export the file as a text (format of LVM) and values are correctly reported as the example.

    Is there a way out or I am condemned to export data to a text file?

    I also thought I can multiply these data by a power of 10 in order to have a bigger order, but I don't like it.

  • Commas and periods are different in Excel export than shows the dashboard

    I have a user in Spain who is having this problem:

    (A) on his dashboard, a value is displayed like this:

    1.234,56

    BUT...

    (B) where it exports in Excel, the value comes out like this:

    1,234.56

    (Notice the difference in the comma and the period between A & B).

    I am from the United States, so I that value always see as A, but it seems that in Spain the user always wants the value to display as B.

    All the world has already seen this problem? If so, how could it be fixed?

    Hi all

    How to give permission to export to excel from the dashboard?

    Some users may be exported to excel, some users may not role-based.

    Hello

    Build two sections in the dashboard with a report of each.
    For the first section, give the permission for groups to export. And this section should be report links > enabled export.
    For the second section, give the permission for groups to export. And this article shouldn't have to report links > enabled export.

    Thus, the group that has permission to view the section will be able to see export option enabled and vice versa for the other users of the section.

  • Excel exporting does not first time

    Hello
    I'm doing an export to excel from a report. But to my surprise, the first time that you try to export, he opened excel file with only headers of column only. But you go to any other page in the app and come back on the same report and try to export, it works very well.

    Please let me know if someone got an idea how to debug this.

    Kind regards
    IDEOGRAM

    The report itself indicates good content when it is run on a default value. Export is to get the values "in the background" by checking the status of session element to the elements concerned. Since it did not exist in the presentation of the page will find NULL and export will be with no data found.
