  The installations instructions document is not available at this time. You can check the order of facilities for another model of laptop preinstalled Vista. It should be similar on all laptops preinstalled Vista.

  Value added contains several tools and I think is the tool you need for media buttons. Just install VAP and I hope it works.

  Hello... I'm new here...
  I have a second hand Toshiba Satellite Pro A10 - PSA15E. There were a lot of things out of place on the hard drive so I wiped and reloaded Windows XP... no prob is so far away... then I realized I would need a disk tools and utilities to charge different drivers... Oops... I don't have that when I got to the machine. So my question is simple... can anyone help?
  I managed to download a sound card driver, but there are other things - I need drivers wireless to start... When I go to the Toshiba website (this one), they do not seem to have my computer laptop, class among the T & U disk downloads? ... so any help / advice / copies of the disc etc would be welcome... specially since I can't find an email address for customer Toshibe!

  I hope someone can help with please. I noticed that my Toshiba Satellite L750 came with a lot of software pre installed as Toshiba disc creator and so on. I can give you the full list if necessary... But unfortunately a few days ago I had to reinstall windows which wiped out everything.

  I bought a pre-order Windows 7 Professional for my laptop, and want to upgrade to Windows Vista Home Premium installed on it at the moment.

  However, I have just one question:

  -Do you think I'll be able to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional without a complete installation Windows Vista Home Edition?
  - Otherwise, if I have to perform a complete installation, then is it possible to install the Toshiba tools and utility from the CD (I have not found anything to do)?

  As I see you have two questions. ;)

  Initially, I would say I don't think anyone here will be able to provide accurate answers, but here's my opinion:

  Q1 full installation for the installation of the OS I prefer, but I think that you will be able to make Win7 upgrade. Problem is how the Toshiba tools and utilities will work after this upgrade. As far as I know in the past Toshiba has suggested to abolish some tools and utilities before installation upgrade begins.
  Then perhaps you should think of the complete installation of operating system. I think it is the best solution for you.

  Q2 I the history I see a problem, what happens if Toshiba does not provide supported Win7 for your laptop model? You will then have problems and try to use Vista stuff in hopes that it works with Win7 too. Anyway, in this forum, you can find several assignments where people confirm that most of the stuff Vista with Win7 runs.

  I had to reload my Satellite because of problems. To cut a long story short, I lost the Drag and Drop program.

  I tried to reload the program from the icon on the desktop, but at this point the configuration tools and utilities disk is requested.

  I don't have this drive. It has not been provided with my laptop. I tried Toshiba customer but have not had much success.

  have you tried to download the "Drag and Drop" utility on the Toshiba site? The reason why I ask is because you can download all of the programs that was on your 'CD utilities & tools' Internet.

  The Toshiba recovery CD and the Tools and utilities CD, you can order from the Toshiba service partner but as said in the first response you can download the drivers and other applications from the Web from Toshiba website.

  PS: Before you begin any installation of the drivers you must first check the installation instructions.

  Well, I think that's why it doesn't work, this support of the Satellite A350 doesn t XP. On the Toshiba, you can get only Vista 32 bit and Vista 64-bit drivers.

  For what model of laptop have you downloaded the tools?
  In your case, I would try the utilities for Satellite A300. It is similar to yours, and there you can get all of the XP utilities.

  In the worst case, you can use the special keys on XP. :(

• Satellite 5200 903: problems with Fn + F5 and button Middle YPP

  I updated my Win XP Home for Win XP Pro and installed all the goodies of toshiba from the home page. Two things do not work as expected if:
  * Fn + F5 is not scroll the screens available
  * The YPP middle button cannot be used as a middle mouse button

  Don't know why Fn + F5 does not work, all other Fn keys work as expected. They show the OSD, too. FN + F5 does not display the OSD menu and no service :/

  The YPP button: I tried the driver on the site of toshiba and synpatics.com
  The problem is: in Control Panel, I can choose functions to each button. The "middle button" function is available for the left and the right key, but not the middle. And it is not recognized as button in the Middle, but like PageUp.

  Any ideas? The laptop is a Satellite 5200 903.

  First of all I must tell you that the Satellite 5200 is a great unit. If I found one that doesn't cost a lot of money, I will buy it.

  For your questions:

  As far as I know if you want to use the FN + F5 key combination you must install TOSHIBA Hotkey Utility for Display Devices V2.1.0.0 - 1. I hope that this tool is installed correctly. If you want you can try to install again.

  I'm not 100% sure but I think that this little button in the Middle does not have the same function as mouse button of the medium, as a dial and it will be used to start the Launcher of sPad. If you want you can check it in s. manuals I've read n t, but I hope you can find a good explanation about the features of this little button.

  I think that these patches do you mean are not available and as far as I know if you can spend a notebook of the master to the slave, for example there is a jumper on the drive.

  However, to me it sounds like this drive is not compatible with this laptop. Not every disc is compatible with all laptop (g. pins assignment.) e  ;)

  You must buy a new one and check the user's manual. There you should find a list of compatible drives.

• Need to install the tools each time I run Fusion

  I'm under Fusion v2.0.2.  The guest operating system is Windows XP Home Edition.  The computer is a macbook pro (early 2007).  Every time I launch the merger, I need to re-install VMWare tools by going to the menu bar, clicking on 'Virtual Machine' and select "install VMWare Tools".  Someone answered in another thread that should not need to install tools beyond the first time.  Any ideas on what is wrong with my setup?

  so your problem with tools is not one that has been fixed with this latest version of 2.0.2 (147997). However, I really wonder if you must install the tools of your virtual machine? Is not because the menu item "Install VMware Tools" in the menu 'Virtual Machine' is not disabled it means that you must install the tools of your virtual machine. In general, if VMware Tools are not up to date, once your virtual machine is running and launched, you should see the small blue icon with three cubes (symbol of Vmware) on the Windows taskbar, bottom right, flashing. In any case, to check if you really have an older version of tools, right click on the little blue icon in the Windows taskbar and open the Vmware Tools Properties dialog box. Select the 'About' tab (last one) and check the Version displayed. In particular, the build No. shown it should be the same as the build number Fusion (that you can get from VMWare Fusion menu "About VMware Fusion"). If these two values are identical, then there is no need upgrade VMware tools.

  I'll look into the other problem you mentioned on Boocamp VM works slowly.
