DYMO on Remote Desktop Web Access Server 2012 R2

OK, here's the situation.

We have a field in a data center...

Domain A

We have other areas in local offices.

Domain B C D

Now im based in domain B and I installed Windows Server 2012 R2 Remote Desktop (otherwise known as Terminal Server)

Everything works fine and dandy except... DYMO!

(for the record, I hate printers)

Now for the test I installed a dymo on my local pc via the usb port allows you to print correctly. I can also share my usb printer on the network, the Server RDP and print my bar codes all very well! (had to disable printing easy in Group Policy)

The problem I have is when the person connects on the RDWeb portal, click on the app and goes to print, he will see my dymo printer, for example TestprinterDYMO123 (great TS009)

But it prints nothing, nothing...

Why it print a RDP session but not a Remote Desktop application session?

Please help, go crazy!

I am looking for a lighter version of the Remote Desktop Web site available in r2 Server 2012/2012.

I tried to pull him out so that I have a minimum of just the login page and none of the other sees it as the Web, SharePoint workflow hooks, etc..

All I need is the ability to launch a desktop application remotely when a user connects.

  • Unable to see the Collections in remote desktop Services in Server Manager

It doesn't seem to be a category for Windows Server for some reason, so I apologize if this is in the wrong category:

We recently had an administrator leave our of the it group, and he was the one who had set up our fund services / remote server.  Recently, we wanted to deploy another remote application and found that we were not able to see the "Collections" option in the server in remote desktop services manager.  The only option listed is "servers".  However to reactivate the account administrator and the server like him gave us all permissions to see the option of Collections and to deploy another remote application.

My question would be, this is a policy of setting Group / somewhere that is limiting the other users of the full access to Office services in Server Manager remotely.  I looked everywhere on the server (and google) to see if I could find where this setting is vain.  Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

  • I have problems connecting to the remote desktop on Windows Server 2008.

I have many positions of work XP trying to connect to our servers to Server 2008 Remote Desktop, but get the message, "because of a security error, the client could not connect to the remote computer".

When I check the version of remote desktop it uses, it is 5.2.3790 in program Files\Remote Desktop

Now, if I go to Windows\System32, I find mstsc.exe and can connect to the same server perfectly.  But if I go to save the connection, RD is up to version 5.2.

How can I remove the old version and just use the newest one?

    Thank you.

    CAN ANYONE HELP?

    Hi Mordi26:

This could be because windows server 2003 is not updated with the latest version of the Terminal Server client. With terminal services client 6.0 update... It should solve the problem. Here is the link to download:

  • using Remote Desktop for access the ddns domain how to

    Hello

    Hope someone can help me.

I have a host pc that is running windows 7 Professional, that it has installed the TightVNC server. It works well with the connection to other machines using tightVNC viewer to connect to other PCs.

I implemented the pc host with a ddns domain so my business partner can easily connect to the host computer of the USA. My partner has a Mac running leopard OSX 10.9. It has installed Microsoft Office remote (even if he built in VNC viewer on the Mac) so far, we have been unable to connect to the host via the ddns domain xxxxx.mynetgear.com pc and it is very confusing how to fill the boxes username and password office remotely. My business partner is reluctant to download any software visualization VNC is not compatible or offered at the shop Mac... is possible that it can connect to the host pc? If you use desktop remotely how should he fill the boxes to connect? is the user name, the name of user and password on the host pc or the name of user and password to the ddns?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    Abbey

Why not use TeamViewer? Much simpler to configure than VNC or RDP.

If you insist on using RDP, you must be aware of these points:

    • You must set up a VPN or even create a tunnel to port 3389 on the router on your side. In this case, you must assign a fixed IP address to the host PC.
    • You must enable the remote desktop on the host PC (the one on your side).
    • You must use telnet.exe to check if port 3389 is open at your end.
    • To reduce the risk of having hacked, I recommend that you change the port 3389 to something else, for example 49329.
  • Manager remote desktop services / Terminal Server Services Manager

I've upgraded to Windows 7 Enterprise to Windows XP SP3. I'm used to use the "reset" Terminal Services Manager a 'Down' RDP - TCP or ICA - TCP port. In remote desktop Services Manager, the ability to 'Reset' a 'Down' port is "grayed out". I can't "Reset" of the port. I checked in Windows features and parts under Remote Server administrative tools have been checked. I don't want to create another port. I want to 'Reset' current 'Down' port. I'm a little frustrated that I have to connect to a XP workstation to get this accomplished. Am I missing something? Something is not properly configured? Do I need to install an additional application?

  • Permission issues key on the remote desktop session host server

    Morning all,

I tried to fix a few problems that we wanted on our new Office Server remotely.

This is a new server that we have put in place a few days ago and is now on the site in a remote and ready to leave office.

We moved a few users on the server yesterday to begin to test it, but met with some major problems that we have not seen before.

Server 2008 R2 and is the host of the session, and server roles installed licenses, as well as services (search and file server roles) of the file.

    The problems we have are:

    • Trying to configure Outlook 2010 exchange account using the automatic configuration, we get the error code: 0 x 80070057
    • When you open MS Word, we get: "your AutoCorrect file, \MSO2057.acl, could not be saved. The file may be read-only, or you do not have permission to modify the file.
    • When Word is closed, we get: "cannot save or create this file. Make sure that the disk you want to save the file on is not full, write-protected or damaged. (C:\normal.dotm)
    • Some users have managed to get their Outlook account settings, but get the same error code in the point 1, when you try to open or to move an e-mail message
    • Windows search is also a problem, as in the start menu search returns no results, and clicking on "see more results" gives an error: Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. May not permissions to access you the item.

First impressions, wherever the registry for AppData folders by user settings, have not been defined properly, which means that files that are trying to write, try saving in the wrong place.

I didn't know how to check this in the registry, but all the environment variables look be ok compared to our running Server 2008 R2 RD.

If anyone can offer suggestions or advice, that would be greatly appreciated.

    See you soon
