  In my infinite wisdom, I tried to install Linux in dual boot as my old laptop scenario. I have narrowed the main partition of windows in windows 8.1 first and then installed linux on this partition. After the reboot, Linux worked, but not windows, because I had to disable the secure boot and set bios to the CSM for linux to load.

  After turning on and bios secure boot to EFI, windows boot more. I tried to repair the windows operating system by running the repair of another DVD of Win8.1 tools, but they do not have repair startup.   I have a Toshiba Satellite C55-A-1N1 and I'm having a few problems.

  When I try to open the TREXlauncher under C:\Program Files (x 86) \TOSHIBA\Addendum it comes up saying that there is an error and the program is closed.

  It creates an error log that says that there is no command line arguments.
  I wonder what other peoples experiences have been of this and would appreciate any help that anyone can give.

  Each laptop comes with preinstalled operating system must have installed all the drivers for all hardware components. Did you found a problem in the Device Manager or what?
