I want to improve my Ram card memory and video. The video card now is an Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller and want a graphics card with at least 128 MB of memory on this subject.
    Any recommendation?
Any help would be appreciated muchly.

    Hello

It of not possible to change the graphics card. The graphics card is a small chip that attaches to the motherboard.
This graphics card supports up to 64 MB shared memory. The graphics card gets this value of main memory if it s needed.

The possibility to upgrade the memory of this device is something different.
You can upgrade the memory to max 1024 MB (2x512MB) and these modules should work.

Is it compatible with my laptop? Help, please!

Sorry, but man I must say: forget it.
You can't go to the graphics chip. It will not work and the BIOS would not accept.

    Hello!

The graphics card in your laptop is not really good for 3D applications. I think that's the problem but contact the manufacture from 3Ds max and ask if the compatible graphics card from your laptop.

You can try to make a graphic driver update. Search on the Toshiba site for an update:

  • Satellite 1900-303: Question about upgrade video card

I have satellite 1900 - 303 and want to somehow upgrade the video card. Is that someone has an idea that is possible or not and if yes how and where to buy a new one.
    Thank you

    Hi Galin,

It is generally not possible to update the graphics card in a notebook. They are generally adapted to fit the available space and also specially designed drivers that are specific to your model of laptop. It is also quite common for them to use the RAM shared rather than having their own chip RAM (although some later model specifications have dedicated for graphics RAM).

You can check in your advanced (from Control Panel) display options if you can adjust the RAM available for your graphics card.

  • Satellite A660-149 - has a 3D video card?

My laptop has been a surprise gift for me--day after day, I now discover its many wonderful features. A bit of a struggle of ' cos I am not be well versed in the calculation.

Is something I'm unsure: is my NVidia GeForce 3d video card? I'd be better that because a couple of drivers Toshiba Tempro suggests I have install comes with the caveat: * this driver is only for the model with the nVidia 3D video card *. Didn't someone around who can confirm the Satellite A660-149 a 3d video card?

    Hey,.

What graphics card your A660 exactly there?

If your graphics card is compatible 3D, you can install this driver. :)

  • Satellite L500 - cannot install the Intel video driver

    Ok
complete failure of the hard drive, no recovery cd was created, reloaded windows 7, looked up and downloaded the drivers from Toshiba, BUT there are only two video drivers listed, amd and Intel, both marked "for model only supported" its an Intel machine so I tried the Intel driver but it doesn't install, it just closes which I believe if the corresponding material is not found is the default action for these drivers.

But I'm stuck with 'standard VGA graphics adapt' all other drivers loaded perfectly, (I installed the driver from chipset Intel first and rebooted, so it should be ok but it s not)

    Any ideas?

Also off-topic (sorry) - there is no way I can connect laptop with TV (KDL - 32 p 2520) with HDMI: laptop recognizes it, but there is no picture on the TV (I tried splitscreen, duplicate and extend the screen)

    Thanks for any help

    Hi, vex

Each laptop comes with preinstalled operating system must have installed all the drivers for all hardware components. Did you found a problem in the Device Manager or what?

HDMI problem: according to TV specification, it must have two HDMI ports. Please make sure that you have enabled the right port on your TV.

One last thing: don't forget to create a recovery media using preinstalled Toshiba recovery media creator tool. Mage recovery relief is very important if something goes wrong with preinstalled OS or HARD drive.

  • Satellite 5100/201: problem with the video card or overheating?

    HY,

I have problems with video on a 5100/201 Satellite. It seems that when I press the left side above the graphics card or press a key on the keyboard on this side, the screen begins to be scrambled and vertical lines appear. To end Windows XP resets giving a critical error on the device and the video goes to 640 x 480. Same thing happens when you run Linux Suse 9.0.

My question is what is the cause: map graphic damaged or overheating due to the fan not as effective as originally (my laptop is nearly two years old. Do you have someone be able to find the cause and solved the problem, also with the assistance of Toshiba?
    Any help welcome.

    Hello

I think the problem on your laptop depends on the fan.

A colleague on mine has a 5100-603 and had similar problems.

    The Station changed the fan.

  • Satellite X 200-15 K - update video card is possible?

    Hey,.

I have a Toshiba Satellite X 200-15 K with nVidia 8700GT and I was wondering if its possible to improve it to say as the new Qosmio 9800GTS.

I know that probably the card is brood in the motherboard and cannot be changed, but is there not a possible for an upgrade? Otherwise, how do we fix broken cards?

I just need to know if its possible and thx.

    Hello

You are right. The graphics card is welded to the meinborad and if the graphics card is defective the card mother set must be changed.
Update is definitely not possible. Not only because of the connection between the card and the motherboard, but also other reasons. As you know cell phones have a specific design and common problem is heat.

  • Re: Satelite L750-1MT - cannot see the Intel integrated video card

    Hello

I have Satelite L750-1MT and Win 7/64-bit and I can see the integrated Intel video card in Device Manager, so I can't install the driver for it. The laptop works with dedicated map, but why I can't use built-in one card too?
On the site I found the Intel driver only for Windows 7/32 bit and not 64-bit.
What can I do to use the onboard too?

    Sorry for my English.
    Thank you!

I can see on the Toshiba download page, all drivers for Win7 64 bit are available and display driver for your model mobile, you can find HERE.

According to specification of mobile has your model of laptop NVIDIA graphics card so I put t understand why you need Intel display driver. Am I missing something?

  • Disable on board video card from the Bios

    Hello

    My PC is HP p6230f

I have question about disable the video card on board wood to select the PCIe as a main video card.

The question is: if I put a video primary PCIe without having to install a graphics card in the PCIe slot and restart my pc to start windows, I'll see the disabled integrated video card?

In fact I tried and when windows boot to start I always keep gettting defining the viedo on board, even if I changed the setting of wood for the PCIe 16

IS this normal or indicate a problem?

    Thanks in advance

Wait until you get a video card and install it it is how you test an IO connector.
You don't want to lose the video and having to clear CMOS to retrieve.

It's one of those things to leave alone, unless you don't mind not yourself implementing problems.

    Best regards

    Hello.
    I have a laptop Qosmio X 875.
The device has two graphics card: integrated Intel and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 M.

    Purchase BIOS version was 6.0.
Then I have updated at 6:30.

The problem is that the laptop does not see Intel card.
I guess when I had version 6.0 of the BIOS, I have disabled the video card Intel from the BIOS. And in version 6.30 without possibility to enable/disable Intel graphics.

Question: In the BIOS version 6.0, it is possible to disable the onboard Intel?
In advance thank you very much for your help.

    Artyom.

    > The problem is that the laptop does not see Intel card.
Intel GPU is listed in Device Manager?

If so, the Intel graphics card is enabled and recognized by the BIOS.
