  I installed Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 1, everything worked fine, but when I updated the BIOS to 1.40 (WIN) at least once a day connection Windows crashes (I can move the mouse, but can't click on my username to type the password, alo TAB key does not work). Also, now when I press the key combination Fn + F1 to lock the screen, sometimes (not always) I can't go stay right back to the black screen!

  I have a Toshiba A100 Satellite PSAARA-055007 with Win XP Home SP3 and updates.

  For the life of me, I can't get this machine to success waking up from sleep mode or Hibernate mode!

  He goes into hibernation and sleep just fine, but when you try to start it back or out of hibernation or standby it seems to start to wake up and then it crashes just without the screen never turn it on. The only option is to difficult start-up of the system.

  So now standby or hibernation function not at all.

  Anyone? Help, please!

  In my opinion, you must be sure your laptop running fine and according to your assignment I do not here no problem.

  Hi all, hope someone can help me in my hour of need, try to solve the problem with above laptop for my MOTHER INLAW! Model number is PSAARE-05P02JAV running windows Vista Ultimate, problem starts when running for 20 minutes or so to get the blue screen and messages with

  During the reboot (even in safe mode) screen load on vista then anything not working, keyboard mouse etc.
  Leave it for 30 or so minutes scan everything works ok. no defects found on various scans I did.
