Satellite A100-599 - question about updating the display driver

Hello

I have a Satellite A100-599 with a NVIDIA 7600go graphics card and I like most of you Bioshock game crashes because of some problems with the graphic card drivers, no pb... Meanwhile, NVIDIA has released some new patches for the Forceware and after I double checked the database of the Toshiba driver support I've seen a new version in the list of display driver for WinXp.

One of them seems to be 13/09/2007. I have downloaded the drivers, installed them and then I checked the details of the driver in the Device Manager list and to my surprise the details say that the drivers are since 2006. I reinstalled the drivers and the same thing appeared. I checked the XML that was in archive of drivers and surprise... the drivers really are the 'old' of 2006. So my question is this: you have the display drivers for my model that work for Bioshock :D

Best regards, Marian

I Don t know if we. I think it would be took a long while to ask every single user: Hey, you have a few drivers for blackmodjo? Ah, come on, please. Some of them... ;)

No, I have a better idea. It s like to cook a meal. Ingredients: DriverCleaner Pro and the www.laptopvideo2go.com site and... your your your TAAA patience

To get a good 'bio' meal shocked just follow this recipe:

Reach
http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/
read before doing anything (YES, even before you continue to BREATHE) the FAQ section on this site (RECOMMENDEDRECOMMENDEDRECOMMENDED)
and then download the drivers. Do it, Yes...

Then download drivercleaner by searching on www.google.com and THEN read their manual before doing anything else (Ok, you can continue to breathe..)
After reading the manual you will be something like:

1. program start, do something, restart the machine
2. start in safe mode, from this program, deleting... yadayadayada
3. install the new driver
3. reading of Bioshock
4...
5. No... 6 thank. me and give me your first born... ;)

So by cutting about 40% of my humorous things and following the constructive technical instructions from me, you will be able to play bioshock.

Welcomes :)

Sad tales I've heard talk about manufacturers of laptop never updated to gfx card drivers apply to toshiba?

Any info on the question of whether an update for their SLi systems drivers display is on the horizon?

    see you soon-

The fact is that display driver cannot be updated daily as for desktop computers. Priority by the manufacturers of cell phones is worrying about the operation of the equipment. Using new graphics card drivers will be forced to run faster and better that offers better graphics performance. The result is essentially an overheating and may end with a faulty graphics card.

In this case, the card mother together must be exchanged and it costs a lot of money. So, I think that no one can say with certainty when the next pilot will be available.

  • Satellite A60-106: Question about updating the BIOS and the BIOS Flash

Fact the BIOS Flash update the BIOS or that requires a different file. I've updated a Satellite A60 BIOS to 1.9 but am not sure if cela flashed the BIOS as well.

If this isn't the case, where I could get a file to Flash BIOS for satellite A60-106?

    Hello

Sorry, but you question is a bit confusing.
The update of the BIOS flashing the ROM module I put t know which version is installed before upgrading the BIOS, but if after the upgrade, a new version of the BIOS appears then the procedure was a success.

The good BIOS and how to upgrade the BIOS information you will find on the page of Toshiba.

  • Satellite A50 543: Questions about upgrading the HARD drive

I'm looking to upgrade the internal hard disk on my A50 543 to 100 GB at 7200 RPM. The original drive is a Fujitsu 60GM 4200. I have found no information on the Internet on other readers line CMS that have been tested and found compatible with the A50. I need at least 5400 RPM or 7200 RPM to edit video.

Suppliers meet usually only with so many laptops on the market, they cannot test each hard drive with any laptop, but can tell if it is compatible with the specifications of the computer and the hard disk specifications and are so confident that their information is accurate that they offer a money back guarantee (excluding shipping costs)

    My question is
    (1) how can I be sure that the drive will work (considering the high international shipping costs) to 100%?

    (2) none of the contributors to this forum may recommend a hard drive internal 5400 RPM or more it has installed on the same model specification?

Thank you. You are my last hope

    Best regards
    Vince

    Hello

If you want to be 100% sure that works on your HARD drive, so I think the best way is to contact the after-sales Service of Toshiba partner. Here, you can order all the devices and parts compatible and supported.
I also found these Toshiba hard disks that must be compatible:
    HDD2187B 20 GB 4 200
    HDD2190B 40 GB 4 200
    HDD2193 40 GB 5 400
    HDD2189B 60 GB 4 200
    HDD2194 60 GB 5 400
    HDD2188B 80 GB 4 200
    80 GB 5 400 HDD2191

In this case, you can use a disk HARD of GB 5 400 80 but I put t found no information about 100 GB of HARD drive.

  • Satellite A200 - strange question after updating the graphics driver

The problem is with the driver Mobile Intel (r) 965 Express Chipset Family. System: Grand VISTA 32 bit Home Premium Service Pack 1. Laptop: Satellite A200.

I have installed the new driver of this (suggestion by Toshiba TEMPO) source:

    http://CE.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?id=65340&OSID=26&drive rLanguage = 42 & SOURCE = TEMPO & LNG = 20

After switching on the computer, the system is constantly asking me ("warning on securities"), whether to execute (open) 3 files: C:\Windows\System32\igfxtray.exe /... hkcmd.exe /... igfxpers.exe. Disabling the option "Always ask before opening the file" does not help. I have to choose the option "Open / cancel / close" to continue the implementation of the windows (an option to switch). Please don't forget that I translated above mentioned communications of poles.

Answer to the question, I received the support of Intel (r):

++ This is not really a problem with our drivers. This is related to the rights of the user/administrator and security functions defined by Windows * Vista. ++

    Yours faithfully,

    Maciej Kochan

When you install the drivers, you must right click on the EXE file and choose "Run as Administrator".

You should also temporarily disable your security software or reconfigure it to allow the file system.
Tools such as AdAware and Spybot spyware removal (or spyware in your Internet Security package tool) may block the file system.

  • Re: Satellite C660 - update the display driver (PSC0QE)

Hello to you all, wonderful people.

I am writing this post to ask why the display driver for this model has not been updated since 2010
I played a favorite game of mine (Civilization V) on this model. They have updated the game with a patch in November and the computer can no longer display graphics properly because the old drivers.

I did my research on the game forums to try to solve this problem, and after watching my dxdiag his appeared clear that drivers are up to date. I've been on the Intel site and they have updated the drivers for the card (card Intel(r) HD), I downloaded these drivers but the laptop don't will not install them unless they are verified from Toshiba? My questions are...

Why Toshiba stop me to install these drivers from the Intel website?
    and
How can I get around all this Pfaff and update my graphic drivers?

    Thank you very much

I put t believe that! Always is that the device was shipped with Vista or am I wrong?
I installed Vista on my laptop and the Vista installation needs about 17 18 GB on the HARD disk. Then why you are suggesting there is only 2 GB?

You said 37GB free on the HARD drive. For me it ok s. 55 GB GB 37 GB = 18

  • Satellite P300D 10V - how can I update the display driver?

I have a Satellite P300D 10V and there ATI radeon hd 3xxx series display panel. I bought Starcraft 2 and there was an error message: that the display driver is outdated.

I went on ati.com. They say I have to get the driver from Toshiba. I went to Toshiba, had the driver. When you try to install it says no components to install. I uninstalled the ati driver and tried again. The same thing.

Now I don't have driver for the graphics card. How can I install the driver?

    Help, please!

    Hey,.

This means that you have uninstalled the old display driver, but now, you are not able to install the latest version of Toshiba?
Well, what OS do you have?

Before installing the new display driver, you should decompress all the files. Then run the setup.exe file.
If you get the same error message, try to install the driver through the Device Manager.

  • Satellite L505-141 - update the display driver?

I want to update the 5156 ATI mobility radeon video card driver. I checked in the Device Manager the driver already installed on my machine, the version of it is 8.653, similar to that offered by download here
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU

However, the stated release date is 09/08/2009, while on the site the date is 03/05/2010. Is - this besically the same version? Should I update?

Exactly how to upgrade the video driver to the laptop (I know how to upgrade video driver on desktop PC with nVidia card, but have no experience with the release of ATI card to the laptop).

    Hi lyonya,.

For me, it seems to be the same version but generally an update of the display driver and all other updates the driver should only be carried out if it of necessary.

This means that if your computer works without any problems, you do not need to update a driver. Have fun with your laptop.

  • Qosmio F10: update the display driver

    Hi all
    I use a Qosmio F10.
Preinstalled system shows that Windows uses a generic monitor ("default") and the NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5700 6.6.1.2 version.
I don't know how to update the monitor driver to one Qosmio use really (and not a generic driver).
I tried to upgrade to the latest version of the display driver by using the file update on the site of Toshiba UK, but run in a system error, the Setup program could not find the file to uninstall the original driver.
    Any idea?

    Hi Christophe,

I don't understand what you want to do. You have already installed the new display driver (ver.6.14.10.6612).

Furthermore the display driver depends on the graphics card not on the monitor.

    Good bye

  • Satellite L10-209 - how to install the display driver for Windows 7?

I formatted my * Satellite L10-209 * and * Windows 7 *. All the drivers installed fine but the * video card *: xD

How to install the display driver (graphics card)?
Tools & Utilities CD does not work with Win7,

    Hello

I m wondering that you have installed Windows 7 on this good old classic. In my opinion Windows XP would be the best choice, but ok, you can do what you want ;)

Anyway, AFAIK your laptop is equipped with an Intel graphics card then I recommend to download the driver form Intel directly because the Web from Toshiba site displays only the Windows XP display drivers.

  • Portege R500 - update the display driver

    I have a R500-10J Vista32 running.
There is a bug in the display driver that causes applications with Opengl based 3D windows crash.

I have a couple of different programs that show this error on this laptop only. So I'm pretty sure that it is not a software problem.
The common theme, is that applications are all two built using the QT toolkit.
The crash is reproducible and is apparently due by displaying too many triangles (e.g. spheres much).

    Looking at the Intel site ([http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2301&OS FullName = Windows + Vista * + Business 2% C + 32 - bits + version〈 = eng & strOSs = 154 & submit = Go %21 | http: //downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2301&OS FullName = Windows + Vista * + Business 2% C + 32 - bits + version & lang = eng & strOSs = 154 & submit = Go 21 %]) it seems that there is a driver more recent (I'm under 7.14.10.1244) might solve the problem.])

But I can not install it because you get the following at the end of the installation procedure
"The pilot is not validated for this computer. You can get the correct driver from the manufacturer of the computer. »

    So any ideas

    (a) if I can work around the problem or
    (b) when / if toshiba released a new driver?

    Any suggestions gratefully received

  • Satellite A100: update the display driver

My laptop is equipped with an Ati Radeon X 1600 graphics card. I tried to update the driver, so I downloaded the 2 drivers who agree to my system. My problem is the same for both drivers:
If I try to install the driver by double-clicking the "Setup.exe" I get an error message: something about the very large number of characters in the installation folder (it is written in Greek, and I don't know how to translate).
If I try to install the driver by using the Device Manager-> maps-> update driver procedure (by following the instructions on http://support.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/FAQ6701IN000GR01.htm) I get a "file not found" message on the files.
I thought to uninstall all Ati drivers and then the installation of the new, but what happens if the problem persists?
    Help, please!

    Hi Doc

I didn t understand where you found these updates. On the download page of Toshiba or ATI?

If you download drivers on the Toshiba download page, please be sure that you have chosen the right laptop (PSAxxx) model.
