  The integrated RAM (512 MB) of my Satellite module problems (based on memtest86) and the machine was freezing all the time. It is under warranty, so I got to the store I bought.

  They told me that they send the machine to Toshiba AC because it will probably be a new mainboard to correct the problem, since the DIMM is permanently attached to the Board and cannot be changed as all the regular module DIMM.

  As much as I know doses Satellite A100-294 does not in charge of the internal memory!
  The unit simply uses the memory DDR2-533 modules that are removable.
  The memory location is placed at the bottom of the unit and it s easy to reach.

  But maybe the head technicians would like to take a look at this motherboard and therefore the ASP had to send this book to the Toshiba headquarters

  I'm not too sure about the P10, but on my A30 the hadr drive is under the DVD-ROM. It is secured in place by a single screw (accessible from under the laptop), and when it is deleted the DVD-ROM slides just to place revealing the hard drive.

  The hard drive is fixed with 4 screws (2 on each side)
