  I took the laptop to the computer repair shop, they want to charge me £100 to replace the HDD with a 500 GB one and reinstall windows.   There is no special driver HDMI for Win XP!

  I m not an A300 owner but my other Satellite was equipped with HDMI port and I installed Win XP too.
  I n t need a driver HDMI in order to use the HDMI port.

  I just installed Windows XP on my laptop and installed all the drivers from toshiba. The problem is that the wireless LAN drivers do not seem to do anything, because it still does not recognize the wireless LAN card.
