  There are different A500 models on the market.

  Some A500 support WiFi broadband (3G) and some A500 don t support this feature.

  Unfortunately, the Satellite A500-1f4 does not support the 3G module and you can't use the SIM in the A500-1f4.

  I upgraded my Satellite A500-1f4 running under Windows 7 64-bit 4 GB to 8 GB of RAM. Now, the BIOS reads the 8GB [2 * 4 GB - bus 1066 MHz], but windows never started, just hang and display white and never changed. When I take off the * memory and install original a 4 GB [2 * 2 GB] it works fine.   To me it sounds like that your new modules are faulty or not compatible with the computer. I mean if the old modules are working properly, the RAM slots are ok and Windows is correctly installed.

  You should test the other modules. Try the Kingston modules or order prétestées modules with a service provider authorized by Toshiba.

  Hi, I am unable to install the updates for MSXML Core Services, Service Pack 2 for x 64 (KB954430 & KB973688) and receive the error code "WindowsUpdate_0000064C".

  I have also tried their installation on a clean boot, but am prompted with the following message is displayed:

  You don't need this update.  You need to right-click on it and select "hide."

The only resolution (except Microsoft remove this driver download scripts) is going to be to hide this update. If I were you, I would stick with the versions that are posted on the Intel site.

  I think remember that ultimately the update has been reclassified as "Optional," where the driver updates belong.

  Depends on the workload, but it should work perfectly. Assuming that there is no other problems with the installation, you might look at LSI on the hardware compatibility list . LSI has reasonable support in ESX (i) and hardware monitoring agents when the LSI are included in the standard install ESX (i). ESX (i) has a limit on the size of the data store. You would need a controller which can create virtual drives or virtual LUN on a table. Individual virtual LUNS and disks should be slightly smaller than 2 TB

  First of all, my BIOS version is 190, no more than 200. Second, I find it very difficult to believe that the battery must be less than 10%. And third, I don't see what that remove the power supply cable will do.

  Please note that this update of the BIOS found on Toshiba's European website, but v2.0 claims to be a worldwide release. I then checked on the Australian site and there is no BIOS for my model. I don't know how to interpret this contradiction.

  So I think that BIOS update is not available at this time for you. European and Australian models have different model numbers, so I doubt that the update of the BIOS is always the same. The pieces of equipment may also be different.

  But the requirements are:

  CPU Core i7 - 620 M, i5 - 540 M, i5 - 520 M, i5 - 430 M, i3 - 350 M and i5 - 330 M
  In addition, you need Intel HM57, HM55-, - QM57 - or - QS57 - chipset
  And preinsatlled Windows 7.

  Should check this with your laptop!

  Intel WiDi is based on Intel technology and this support depends on the Wlan card built in Notepad.
  You need to use the Intel WiDi, Intel WLAN module which is part of the 6000 Centrino series.

  As you mentioned in you original post above; the laptop seems to be equipped with an Atheros WLan card.
  The Atheros WLan card does not support the Intel WiDi and therefore, you will not be able to use this technology.
