It has a Pentium 4, 448 MB of ram and a disk hard 80gig.

If anyone can help me solve this problam I have burning, I would be very very happy.

Thanks in advance.

Hello

If the touchpad doesn't work, you need to reinstall the driver. Please visit the site of the new updates. In addition, if your laptop turns off without reason it could be an overheating problem. In this case, you must give the unit for service partner. If the valid mandate still use it.

On the other side, it could be a problem of burning software. Well try you to deactivate the option automatically reboot in startup and recovery.
That you can find in the System-> Advanced-> startup and recovery

You can also retrieve you wit the OS recovery CD.

Good bye

    Hello

What password box do you mean? You hear the Windows password?

Well it s weird to say what causes the error, but try to start in safe mode.
Load default settings in the BIOS during the F9.

Make sure that the fan works because maybe he stops while he gets to hot.

  • Satellite A60 is turned off by itself

    Hi all
I have a Toshiba Satellite A60, and she herself is turned off. I had this problem 2 years ago and had to change the hard drive with the disk driver, but was covered by my warranty. It has been resolved for 7 months, but back. Now the same problem is more frequent, especially in the last days.
Another thing, whenever I move it to another room (you have to walk on the stairs, so maybe something is moving, or as the other room is usually really hot), I have this problem more frequently.

I don't know that it's an overheating problem! Sometimes it's really hot.

I opened it to check if the fans (there are 2 large and the other small) are working well and they seem to be.
When we keep the keyboard not attached, it works perfectly for hours, however, as soon as I attach, it get overheated and shut down.

I'm running out of ideas and to consider difficulty will cost you a huge amount of money, and to be honest, I'm not sure that it be resolved.

In cars, there is a kind of thermometer, which could be the temperature. I was wondering it's the same in the laptop, if it is also in cars, according to the room temperature, and if it is what creates this problem.

Everything has any suspicion what should I do?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Since the opening of you´ve I guess that you didn t took a glance to the fat of cooling on the CPU. In your case, I would do the following:

Looking for someone who is very familiar with laptops or laptop technician. Ask him to replace the fat of cooling on your CPU and graphics card.
The problem should be solved by replacing this cooling fats and clean the fans of dust and debris.

The machine should be run after all the action without any problem.

  • Satellite A60-712 - turn off after 2-3 seconds

    Hello everyone.

I am trying to fix this Satellite A60-712; He came to me without feeder, but I found a compatible and it seems to work: CC in LED lights up and the battery starts to charge.

My problem is that this starts Mobile for awhile, radiator begins to turn, all the lights are normally, but, all of a sudden everything turns off after 2-3 seconds. I have observed that this machine has only one slot of free RAM and noted that it has integrated the module memory motherboard; that would be the problem? Or another reason?

    Could someone help me?
    Thank you.

    Hello

    > it came to me without feeder, but I found a compatible
Can you please test it with a Toshiba original AC/DC adapter? The same thing is happening?

If the laptop has already integrated memory motherboard there is no problem. Alternatively, you can use the laptop without additional RAM module.

In the worst cases, you need professional help of an authorized service provider. :(

  • Satellite A60-122 turns off immediately

Hi there, my 2.5 year satellite SA60-122 turns off no aparent reason.
Sometimes after 10 minutes and sometimes after 3 hours.

    Why o why?

    Does anyone have an idea?

    Thnx a lot.

    Hello

you are somewhat familiar with computers? If not, I suggest you bring your machine to a local service partner (http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_gaspLocator.jsp?subs=tais)
If Yes, then firstly make a few hardwaretests. You can make them with tools like "Memtest86" for memory or "Prime95" for CPU and RAM.
This software is on a windows live cd for computer-maintenance as the UBCD4Win (Ultimate Boot CD for Windows) which contains a lot of useful tools and diagnostic programs.
    Here´s a link:
    www.UBCD4Win.com

    Other means can be:
Clean the CPU fan, try to remove the RAM (maybe), maybe the power adapter is defective or maybe the battery.
It s a little more difficult to find these things, but often it s really good to use this live-cd-system and check the system.

So, try it (or not :)) and give some information about what happened, maybe to give more detailed information about the behavior of the machine.)

    Hi Greg,.

It looks like overheating. There are a lot of similar posts on the forum.

I recommend you to clean the heatsink CPU of the differences of dust and debris with a hose of vacuum cleaner against the bars of suction air (those circular) on the bottom of your A30.

  • Mac Pro randomly turns itself off (again)

Mac Pro randomly turns off by itself

I have never got rid of the problem. Even after having replaced my card stock (radeon 5770) display with Asus Strix GTX 980 Ti, used a Corsair CX750 only power supply to power it. Look like anything, it's over heating, im stimulate fans PCI, exhaust and intake to 2500, 2000 and 2000 RPM (respectively). his strong!

I'm tired of dealing with this old-tech, unreliable, expensive, overrated,... flat of the weight of the aluminum foil, so please find me a real solution/fix! I could easily put together a very decent PC that 'JUST WORKS' from what ive already spent trying to fix it.

whenever he stops, I hear a click from the PSU (similar to the clicking sound when you press the power button on the front, commissioning). Trying next turn to the after he died, sometimes the power button will not turn on right away. I had to wait at least 10-15 sec to make it work. When it works sometimes stop with click 2 to 5 seconds after pressing the power button. He sometimes dies right after the chime. It starts also through without any problem.

A few times when sometimes I watch the LED at the front of the Board (opposite the PCI fan) when he died, I see the two top LEDS blink once I hear that click, those who are highlighted red in the picture (not a picture of my Mac real). It also sometimes flashes when I press the button boot but used to power upward after that he died. Please, what that means?

The laptop may close due to power cut or overheating...

  • Toshiba 40TL968 turning itself off

    Hello

I bought 40TL968 Toshiba TV just 3 weeks back, but he began to show a problem. It stops automatically after every 30-40 minutes. There was no timer. I have reset it and then it worked fine for a few days before presenting the problem again.

I contacted the seller and there he traded (since it's only 2 weeks). This new TV was working fine until today. He showed the same problem and it turns off after a while. I also noticed that TV got hanged by looking at Dailymotion app and after that whenever I have it off, instead of LED red, orange has proved. I unplugged, but it was always on display LED orange instead of red. And then this problem to shut began. I don't know if they are related.

It is not even 4 weeks and two televisions showed the same problem. I'm tending to believe that well there are some wrong the entire series or with the stock running the retailer in question. I think on his return from the TV and get my money back.

Has anyone else facing the same problem with this model? Or have any idea why is it happening over and over again?

    My TV firmware is - 7.0.27.8.1 November 12, 2012-68.7.75.4

    Thank you
    D

In your case, I recommend that reset the settings of the TV.
You can do this in the system configuration menu, press up or down to select
Reset the TV. Press OK to select. A screen appears warning that all settings will be lost. Press OK to continue. When authorities set turn it back on, the Quick Setup is displayed. Press OK to move the Setup program and perform an auto tune.

By the way: the TV supports HDMI-CEC. When the connected equipment work, HDMI CEC control automatically detects the TV input selection. If the TV is in standby mode, it is re-activated (or turn off) automatically.
Then you should check if there is a case. The HDMI-CEC function can be turned on and off.

  • Re: P305D-S8900 keeps turning itself off

    OK, let's go General information.

Sometimes, the computer will be shutdown without any reason. It is usually during a virus scan. I installed and uninstalled almost everything out there. No anti-virus program made a complete analysis. They make quick scans very well. I paid $100 nortons to check it out, and they said that there are no viruses on the laptop.

It doesn't seem to be running hotter than normal... but why would this cause alone stop during a virus scan... and intermittent times during the analysis.

Sometimes, when he died, I have to wait a while to restart. If I do a recovery, sometimes it stops immediately before that recovery does nothing... sometimes its fine. Sometimes he tries to 1 minute to boot and it stops. It drives me crazy.

How can I get this figured out... anyone with similar problems?

I am running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit on the laptop.

  • Satellite Pro 6100 turns itself on a

    Hello

I have laptop Satellite Pro 6100 who recently had the idea of turning on. It may be ok for 30secs or 3 hours.

Any ideas if there are common faults with this model or if it is difficult to fix. Also im going to sell it fixed or not with a canon printer.

No idea how much it is worth.

    Thank you

Common faults? Hey Buddy this series is an oldie and to me, it looks like a problem that occurs because of the long duration of use.

Have you tried to reinstall the OS? This should be the first step!
He must know if its software or a hardware issue!

If the same will occur after the installation of the new operating system then the problem might be related to overheating.
Could the laptop shuts down automatically due to a temperature inside the laptop. Maybe a debris and dust affect the butcher of modules cooling, fans and, therefore, the machine cannot be properly cooled.
In this case, you must clean the fans.

However the RAM a malfunction could cause the problem too, so as you can see s not easy to say what s wrong

  • Acer Aspire 5517 turns itself off

    I have a laptop Acer Aspire 5517.

Operating system is Windows 7 X 64 Edition Home Premium.

AMD Athlon TF-20 1.6 GHz processor

    Physical memory 2 GB RAM_

    220 GB hard drive

I leave my computer during the day and let him sometimes for short periods... Lately, when I come back to it, the screen will be black... It is black because the computer turns off, for no reason that I can find. When I turn it back on I get a legend that says that the 'user (name) has been locked." Below that is a legend I can click on this bed "switch users." If I click on this legend, it says "user." What is the user that was just locked! I click on that, and my desktop appears as nothing happened... .

So far, I have flashed the BIOS to try to fix it, because it needed updating. I thought that it might help, but it has not fixed the problem. I also did all the things standard such as defrag, cut down on the desktop icons, less from programs, etc.

Does anyone have any ideas I can try? Any help is appreciated!
