  In my opinion your laptop must certainly have reason to turn off. According to the description of your problem my first property thereon is overheating.   I am facing a strange problem in operation.

  I tried to run only on the power (remove battery) and got the same result.

  -VAP
  Hardware - toshiba
  Control - HDMI
  -WLAN driver

  Everything works well but lacks some drivers

  Added Vista tips:
  Toshiba - help - working properly
  -Card reader - installed correctly
  -Webcam driver for A500 - tested with Skype - works correctly.

  Now I wonder to pay more than half of the actual price of the laptop for repair.
  I firmly believe that I received a defective part of the laptop and request now to pay for it.
