  You just buy a C50 Pro Satellite, it is built in webcam but no application to use? drivers show in Device Manager and update but nothing use the camera.

  Also can't find no reference to this on the Web site, no device driver, without s/w? Only reference online, that I can see, is that the application be in tools & utilities.

  For Win8 or Win8.1 there is not a specific tool for webcam of Toshiba. Everything you use is standard Windows application that is integrated into the operating system.

• Satellite C660 - webcam does not record

  Small problem with the webcam on my weird C660 laptop. It does work very well on Skype no problem at all and capture pictures very well, but every time I try and record a video, it makes a beep when I press 'save', then completely freezes, near my webcam light goes off (so I guess that the webcam is turned off?) and refuse to answer. I'm waiting for an hour, it would catch up, but it's not hope. He ended up being closed by using the task manager that he won't answer.

• Satellite C665 - unsigned drivers Win 7?

  Have a c665 (Win 7 64-bit) that does not recognize the WLAN drivers or graphics, saying the signatures cannot be verified.

  I'm new to Microsoft webcams and I am looking to buy a good webcam.  I have the following questions & requirements...

  (1) is the webcam (Microsoft Life Cam HD - 3000) capable of recording audio and video images over distances of 7-8 feet from the source for a period of at least 2 hours?

  First laptop was already preloaded with Toshiba picture and all the drivers and software have been installed too.
  That's why driver extra installation isn t necessary.

  Secondly, preinstalled Win 8.1 system contains the driver for the webcam. The driver is designed by Microsoft and part of the system.

  The 8.1 win provides a webcam application that you might find on the surface of 8.1 to win.
  But before using the application, you must add the webcam access and change privacy settings.

  Charm-> Open bar (Win key + C)-> settings-> permissions enable webcam & microphone

  Now close and reopen the webcam app. You should have your camera app works fine now

  Recently updated my phone. Almost everytime I take a picture, the camera also takes a video... or two or three. I took great care that I record not by accident, but sometimes 3 or 4 very short (half a second or less) video record, sometimes only one. Rarely, no video will record.
