  I put t know where found this answer, but I agree with it. In my opinion Windows XP seems to be the best choice in old enough Satellite L10.

  In any case, if Intel doesn't provide new drivers Windows 7 for this chipset, it s not a Toshiba error. You can only try the Vista driver because most Vista drivers work on Windows 7.

  It s not a good idea, install all the drivers, you can find. This could confuse the operating system and cause these errors.

  Usually the drivers supplied on the Toshiba page are always working. For the moment, I would recommend removing all display drivers that you have installed now (you can do it in safe mode). Then, restart your computer (also in safe mode) and run a registry cleaner like CCleaner to remove old registry keys. Restart again and now install the latest Toshiba display driver for your model.

  You can try using the Bluetooth for Windows Vista driver. Maybe it works and as far as I know some Vista driver will work on Windows 7.
  Try also the card reader driver for Windows Vista.

  Unfortunately, Toshiba recommend to use own graphics drivers because they are a bit changed.
  The graphics drivers support protection overheating graphics cards.
  If the graphics card temperature increases at critical level driver degrades performance of the card.

  However, if the drivers Toshiba and Intel drivers graphics doesn t work so I guess there's not much to do ;(

  Why display drivers work and what happens exactly? No work is silent while you get an error message or what is exactly happening?

  On the same page, there is also a document of instructions installation for correct driver installation order.

  By the way: make sure that SP3 is installed before installing the drivers.

  Were able to successfully install Windows 7RC on the L10. There is a missing video card driver and I can't seem to find it on the download site (XP drivers seem compatible with Win7 because of its XP mode).

  Apparently, this has something to do with the graphics card & I get the following message is displayed:

  But it seems that the display driver is available for Windows XP only.

  As far as I know that this laptop is equipped with an Intel graphics card so I would check the Intel website for a Windows driver. I'm pretty sure you'll find a driver for Vista (which should work on Windows 7) and perhaps already for Windows 7 also.

  I have a problem with installing official Toshiba Windows 7 x 32 ATI x 1600 driver.

  After unpacking it should run install.exe, I think, but it's not; nothing happens. Go on the Setup.exe with installation manual, then I see no Catalyst Control Center & Display Driver from the list, just the catalyst install Manager & vcredist. After installing these components (CCC & DD) are not present.

  Any ideas?

  P.S. Same problem with the official driver of Toshiba Vista32 ATI x 1600.

  You have already installed other drivers for the laptop? I mean the chipset driver, this driver must be installed first.
  And are you sure that you have ATI display driver? Some Satellite A100 models were shipped with the nVidia graphics card, AFAIK.

  Moreover, what happens if you install driver manual in device via advanced installation manager?

  I have had no trouble to Windows 7 Home Premium installation on this computer. The only changes that I made were installing the XP drivers for nVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200 and SD Host Controller.

  Granted I get only the performance level 1 because of my old video driver, but I am always satisfied with the performance of my computer using this operating system. There are Vista drivers for the nVIDIA GeForce Go5200 graphics card that will work on a M30?

  I checked and I can only find drivers for Windows XP, it seems that your model is compatible with only this operating system.
  Is Windows XP not an option for you on this good old classic? I think this would be the best choice for this laptop.

  Otherwise, you will need to seek other sites display drivers, or you may be trying an another series of notebook display driver it works.

  In General, the chipset driver must be installed everything first. Then, you can install the Toshiba page display driver.
