Hello
I want to ask for Ati Radeon 3100 fomr satellite L350D 20 d... im bit confused after the last control...

now I got 32 bones... and in DxDiag and Ati Catalyst I see 700 MB memory graphics card... but I have just instaled a software called HWiNFO32 and I see different k soemthin to what I ca nsee in DxDiag and catalyst... :
I add screans:

On this one, you can see Ati Catalyst and in the Information Center are 700 MB of memory in Ati radeon 3100

on the screan shot u ca nsee DxDiag details abuts AtiRadeon 3100 memory wht is 700 MB... but on the right you can see butts HWiNFO32 and details all my Toshiba Satellite L350D of 20 d and what is weird it me showing that 256 MB on graphics card memory...

  • Satellite L555 - 10 M graphics card memory

    Hello
I bought the Satellite L555 - 10 M mobile a few weeks previously. the product describtion says that the graphics card has 1024 MB memory and it can also use RAM. Now, I noticed that it uses 1768 mb of RAM, but for me the 1024 MB of memory are sufficient. So, how can I change the graphic card memory settings?

    Thanks for all answers

    Hi mate

It seems that you have no idea how to work things together.
The graphics card sharing memory automatically! Everything is controlled by the graphics driver.
If the graphic needs of memory then the driver could affect the value and would take a part of the main memory automatically!
It is not a switch not an option that could be used to change this value.

So if you ask this-> + why buy a laptop with 4 GB of ram so I can not us it? +
I have to say; Show me a mobile graphics card that doesn t share memory?

  • Resolution is dependent on the video graphics card memory?

Resolution is dependent on the video graphics card memory? If that's true then how much resolution a 2 GB card can support? I mean on what map I'll be able to run a game like 'NFS RUN' on a resolution higher, if I have 2 cards with the same specifications but difference is 1 GB and 2 GB, I don't speak of GDDR3 128 bit NVDI GT 440. ?

Resolution is dependent on the GPU, and not on the installed memory. The memory will help the screen refresh more quickly, and video help in smoother race.

    According to the specs here:

    http://www.GeForce.com/hardware/desktop-GPUs/GeForce-gt-440-channel/specifications

You should be able to get a maximum digital resolution of 2560 x 1600 and an analog-resolution 2048 x 1536 (VGA). This assumes of course that your monitor will be very high. The highest card ira is limited by the capabilities of the monitor also.

Thus, the memory card more than video, that you, smooth graphics should work, but it will have no effect on the resolution.

I found a small free tool called turn the wide-screen LCD. You can google for it if you want.
But as far as I know, this tool is only compatible with Win XP and Vista, so I don't know if it will work on laptops with pre-installed m Win 7.

  • Satellite P20 S203: how to change the graphics card memory

My laptop has 32 MB graphics card I was wondering how I would improve my Vram to 64. What I do how would be, where would it be and what I have to install?

    Thank you

To my knowledge, the Satellite P20 S203 was delivered with a nVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200 32 MB of video ram. But this isn't a shared memory graphics card!
In this case, you cannot change the settings of video ram.

In addition he s is not possible to upgrade or replace the graphics card. Unfortunately, there is nothing to see ;(

  • Satellite A200 - 14 d (PSAECE): how fast is the base & graphics card memory

    Hello, I would like to ask a question about Satellite A200 - 14 d (PSAECE - 3 004006G).

In the specification, it says there r:
Type: NVIDIA Geforcea? ¢ Go 7300 with TurboCache technology
memory: 256 MB of VRAM dedicated (up to 527 MB of total available graphics memory using Turbocachea? ¢ technology with 2 GB of system memory)
memory type: DDR video RAM (resp. video RAM DDR and DDR system memory combined)

I would like to ask what is the basic and the memory of this video card speed and is not a bad thing that there only DDR ram?

There is also another laptop, with VIDIAA® Geforcea® 7300 Go with 256 MB of Turbocachea? ¢ technology (64 MB of VRAM) dedicated GDDR2 and 192 MB shared system memoirs.

WHAT IS THE BEST? or do I have to look any further for a better?
I would like to buy a laptop and you would help me a lot to choose from. Thank you.

    Hello

I would say that the first one is the best, you have more available videoram and it could be extended much more then the other.
But if you can accept such machine, then wait a little, because the new generation of portable computers equipped with the platform "santa rosa" are coming,
who have a better and better chipset integrated graphics cards.

I can give you a good indication for the moment, but you can perform a search in google for "santa rosa toshiba", so you will probably find something.

  • RAM upgrade and Satellite A200 - 19K graphic card memory:

    Hi all

The Satellite A200 - 19K came with 1024 MB memory system. It's only 2 cards of memory of 512 MB or just 1 memory card 1024Mo in the system of the laptop? I would like to add another a 1024 MB of RAM, is that the slot more be available?

The second question is on the graphics card from NVIDIA. The product specification mentions the graphics adapter as below...

    Manufacturer: NVIDIAî
type: NVIDIAî Geforcea? ¢ GB 7300 supporting Turbocachea? ¢ technology
memory: 64 MB dedicated VRAM (up to 335 MB of total available graphics memory using Turbocachea? ¢ technology with 2 GB of system memory)
memory type: DDR video RAM (resp. video RAM DDR and DDR system memory combined)
connected bus: PCI Express 16 x

My question is, after upgrade from 1024 MB to 2048 MB system memory, is that the card NVIDIA GeForce will be automatic upgrade from 64 MB to 256 MB for graphics memory?

    TAHNKS A LOT!

    Hello
    >, It's only 2 cards of memory of 512 MB or just 1 memory card 1024Mo in the system of the laptop
I think that the laptop came with a module of memory 1 GB and the second Bank should be free.

Now something about the graphics card.
Well, the graphics card GeForce Go 7300 supports own graphics memory 256 MB (no shared memory!)
But it also allows a dedicated memory.
This amount of memory is variable and depends on the available main memory.

I think that everything runs automatically and you will not need to change the settings to assign this memory dedicated after main memory upgrade

  • What is the graphics card in my Satellite L500/08 p?

    I can't play a game that I bought and it explains the requirements of minimum graphics card are;
DirectX 9 .0c - compatible video card (ATI Radeon 9200 or NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 with 128 MB of RAM) or more.

It's good enough to play my portable game?

    Hello

Do a search on Google, I found L500 series are equipped with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 or Intel Intel GMA 4500 M. It is enough for your laptop to run this game. Perhaps, you should choose high performance, in the power management. It depends also what game you want to play

  • Re: Satellite S70 - B - bad ATI graphics card

    Hello

    I have a Toshiba Satellite S70 - B with an AMD Radeon R9 M265X.
I installed all the updates but it's now called "AMD Radeon HD 8800 M Series", it is exactly this problem:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB4903N60000R01.htm

But the solution is to update the divers, that's already what I did... so what can I do?
I tried to uninstall, reboot, reinstall the different versions and so on... I'm totally lost now :'(

And now I do not see the option appears when you left-click on the desktop to access the interface of catalyst or select the graphics card to use according to the programme (to use the radeon in the game and not the intel HD).

An idea to make everything back to normal?

I m not very well if the solution might be the same, because your laptop is different.
    It s S70 - B Satellite

By the way: what Satellite S70-B-xxx you exactly and what version of driver AMD have you installed.

The Toshiba UE driver page provides different versions of the AMD drivers!

However, I recommend you to repeat the solution posted in Toshiba document.
First uninstall the driver from Device Manager graphics card.
Download the latest version (according to the system of windows), and then install again.

Here is the list of the available GPU drivers:

    Hi all

I'm having a problem of bad on my version of the Satellite A205-S4577 laptop
The problem is my graphics card
On the internet it is said the graphics card has 256 MB of RAM, and I can't play Counter Strike Source, I watch in the word when I play.

So, any idea of my Toshiba graphics card?
It's not just 256 MB of RAM and 64 MB

PS: I have directx 9 .0c, driver for graphics card.

    Hope you will help me!
    :)

    Hello

If you would be upgrading of main RAM graphics card could share a large part of the memory of the main memory

  • Satellite C660 - update Intel HD graphics card problem

    Hello

Sorry for my level of English, I'm French

I have a problem without a solution with my Satellite C660 (for the moment, I hope!) I downloaded the software google sketchup 8, dedicated to the development of architecture, but it does not work, I still got a bug message advising that it is necessary to update the graphics card drivers (according to google support it seems that OPENGL functions must be implemented in the drivers of my laptop)

So I downloaded the latest drivers available for the configuration I have (Intel HD graphics for pentium, 64-bit windows 7).

the link (french site, that Intel is not currently available, it is a document of .exe)

    http://www.Touslesdrivers.com/php/Constructeurs/TELECHARGEMENT.php?v_code=37057&v_langue=FR

I tried to update manually driver graphics card with Device Manager menu (graphics card > update drivers button > file.exe manual selection), but in the end, there is no update, I did that a very small message advising that windows has determined that the pilots are already updated.

In fact there is no change on the drivers (always the same date of the 2010-07-28 drivers in the properties of the graphics card) and sketchup is still unemployed

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

    What C660-xxx you have exactly?

If you have an Intel graphics card, you must download the driver directly on the Intel site.
There you should find the last version of driver

  • Help on graphics card memory and upgrade for iMac

    Hello!

I need advice on a good new graphics card for iMac 27 inch end 2012. My work is mainly in animation, Visual effects and game development soon, so I need an additional card to increase my speed.

Currently, I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB card. Do you think I should stick to a similar card? Is there something new that will offer me better performance at an affordable cost?

I don't have much money to spend, but I can certainly use additional graphics now.

I have also 2 remaining memory locations that accepts DDR3 1600 MHz memory module, but it seems that this module is no longer available. If I had to choose between a graphics card and RAM, which should I go with?

Finally, can I install these myself? I don't have any Apple Store around me and I do not trust the computer guys in my area.

First of all, the iMacs are notoriously difficult to make something with except add RAM. Here is a good site where you can get some info on the dismantling, etc.:

    https://www.iFixit.com/

Usually, graphics cards should be replaced with the same model/type of work (if any) - see above site for this kind of info. I'm quite sure that you cannot add just one - iMac is not designed for it.

Regarding the RAM, just check out OWC for necessary RAM:

    https://eShop.MacSales.com/shop/memory/iMac/2012_27/DDR3L

Check that your model is listed. I don't know where you would have been told that the RAM is no longer available (FWIW, Apple does not sell RAM and uses of third party RAM in the new Macs).

I'd go with the RAM - how many do you have now? Adding RAM is easy.

  • Satellite X 200 PSPBUA-00N007 graphics card replacement

    Hi guys,.

I get the BIOS beep codes saying there is a problem with the graphics card (1 long beep, 2 short beeps), but there are two graphics cards in my computer.

So my question is, is it possible to know that one needs to be replaced?
I can find two parts online, but obviously I don't want to have to buy both if one is defective.

I tried to start the computer with the two cards, a card and without graphics card and get the same beep every time code.

Does anyone know if the computer should start with just a single card?
Because who was telling me that this is the first map, it is the problem.

I have search the Forum before posting, but could not find someone asks this question in particular, only people ask questions about the upgrade, which is not what I'm trying to do - I found the correct parts for my computer, but you should know what to buy.

    Thanks in advance

    Ben

    > but there are two graphics cards in my computer.

I guess you mean the Dual NVIDIA GeForce 8600 M GT graphics card with SLI in NVIDIA technology.
I know the laptop was equipped with two nVidia Geforce 8600 M GT graphics chips. This has been possible due to SLI technology.
The name of the graphic chip code was NB8P-GS (SLi)

    > Does anyone know if the computer should start with just a single card?
I m not quite sure all this, but I guess that this is NOT possible because of the BIOS.
The X 200 BIOS has been configured and changed for the GPU and probably another GPU usage is not possible.

    > I found the correct parts for my computer, but you need to know what to buy.
I guess all the compatible part could be ordered in the Toshiba service in your country, but to be honest, I think that this could be expensive fix and probably a new computer laptop would be a better option.
But of course this is only my personal opinion.

  • Satellite Pro 4600 - CPU overheating graphics card?

16 days ago my tosh Satellite Pro 4600 has lost the ability to maintain 25 fps in a game online - IE. Diablo 2.
He now plays to an average of 4 frames per second and ping gets up to more than 4,000... Needless to say that now, unplayable...

I reinstalled the game... installed new XP and game on the D drive...
Same thing... a program called SpeedswitchXP shows CPU use fluctuating 54 to 420, because the clocked processor slot general tab of my computer displays 422 now, not the 847 mhz it used to.

Still, he surfed on the net and plays yahoo games of cards for example. at lightning speed, but not a rpg online... there work perfectly at 25 fps on average for 3 years... Irretrievably overheating / damaged CPU, graphics card?
Anyone know? Another temp. program shown running at 64 c is worth a new motherboard?

I can get one? Any ideas?

    Hello

First of all, he should know that the processor and GPU performance are dynamically.
This means that the speed and the performance changes if the temperature reaches a critical threshold.
This could lead to performance degradation.

In your case, the laptop is about 3 years old and I think that it s time to clean the fans to prevent the notebook from overheating.

You can try to use the jet of professional compressed air to get rid of dust and debris.
Such spays you can buy computer retailer.

I have the game of simulation of tractor and I'll start the following error message:

    Shader 2.0 model is necessary
Please install the latest video drivers.

I install some drivers on my computer, that I found on the Toshiba site, but still you can't and don't know what to do with it.

    Could someone help me please?

    Hello

The error is obvious; the game can not start and run due to the graphic driver.
I guess that you will need the most recent version.

I think you should check your graphics card chip and search on some 3rd party pages for the other version of the Toshiba driver page driver driver won't help you.
