  I have a portable satellite L500-1KK 2.5 years. I want to buy a D80 creative wireless Bluetooth speakers. I can't find the page for more specs on the Toshiba site (Gulf). I was wondering if it can connect these speakers. I guess it should support some standard or protocol for this: EDR and A2DP.

  I didn't intend to buy another Bluetooth device, apart from one integrated.

  1. it is indicated on the product specifications L500-1kk expected autonomy is about 03:20 Hrs use mobile brand!   To be honest, I think a battery about 02:15 hours is good and I think that everything is ok with your laptop. My new Satellite A500 I also only 2.5 hours if I running on battery, sometimes less than 2 hours or less. That s always according to the applications you run.

  Well, it s the same you compare two cars with the same ch from different manufactures a car's fuel consumption higher than the other car, even it have the same hp. Why? Well, the different manufacturers using different parts: other tires, gears, weight, dray of air, etc.

  You can compare two identical notebooks or cars from the manufacturing even to find a problem, but * not * from different manufacturers. ;)

It takes about 1 hour to rip or burn a standard music CD. I use if often could not have burned it. Any help would be appreciated

  I think that you have to clean your cd/dvd with a disk drive to remove dust from the lens for cleaning lenses. What software do you use to rip cd drives? You can try Poikosoft Easy CD - DA Extractor is free 1 month trial program.

  I recently bought a Satellite L500 with Vista operating system. I've upgraded to Windows 7 with a upgrade Toshiba drive. After the upgrade I could no longer use the FN keys to switch my touchpad back on.
  I had to get a bluetooth mouse to use a pointing device. Can someone help me get the keys FN working again.

  You have problem with FN + F9 only or flash cards do not work?

  Hi, I have a Toshiba Satellite L500-22R with an ATI Mobiliti Radeon HD 5145.

  I want to install new drivers for my card, but Toshiba doesn´t upgrade the driver from 2009 (version 8.653.0.0) and the official driver ATI is 13.1. The problem is that I can install page AMD because there is a problem of compatibility with the hardware.

  What you see now is the internal display resolution. When the TV is connected to the HDMI cable it will be recognized and the resolution will be higher, and you will be able to use 1080 p.

  Laptop is designed to be connected to the LCD TV and the HDMI port is available. Why Toshiba should offer this port if customers will have problems to use it?
  It is tested and you should have no problem.

  Cable HDMI to transfer audio signals and video so you will have the best image quality and sounf on your LCD TV.
