Satellite L500-1kk and output HDMI for FULL HD LCD TV
Hi all!
I want to connect to my laptop L500-1kk to the TV LCD Full HD Sharp Aquos LC-42A77M via HDMI port, my question is that in the display properties that the maximum resolution is 1366 x 768, 1920 x 1080, so I'm afraid that if I buy a ([http://www.nu-global.com/product.aspx?cid=C_00000005&ccid=C_00000019&pid=P _ 00000026]) that I won't be able to read the Full HD content in the native resolution of the TV screen and be limited to 1366 x 768 and up-scaling of TV! so in summary
1. the ability to have a FULL HD resolution after purchase and connection and a HDMI to my TV cable is not available or not? ?:|
2. the integrated Intel graphics 4500MHD will perform well? or I'll experince problems?
Thank you
1.
What you see now is the internal display resolution. When the TV is connected to the HDMI cable it will be recognized and the resolution will be higher, and you will be able to use 1080 p.
2.
Laptop is designed to be connected to the LCD TV and the HDMI port is available. Why Toshiba should offer this port if customers will have problems to use it?
It is tested and you should have no problem.
Cable HDMI to transfer audio signals and video so you will have the best image quality and sounf on your LCD TV.
Good bye

Satellite L500-1KK - Bluetooth support A2DP and EDR?
Hello
I have a portable satellite L500-1KK 2.5 years. I want to buy a D80 creative wireless Bluetooth speakers. I can't find the page for more specs on the Toshiba site (Gulf). I was wondering if it can connect these speakers. I guess it should support some standard or protocol for this: EDR and A2DP.
I didn't intend to buy another Bluetooth device, apart from one integrated.
Thank you
Here you will find profiles taken in charge by battery Toshiba BT:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/?page=Toshiba/supported-PC-BT-profilesA2DP (A2DP-sink; A2DP-source) is supported but the BDU is not listed there.

Satellite L500-1KK - need Windows XP drivers
Is my new Satellite L500-1KK laptop and I can not find the WinXP drivers for it. I hope to find a good help
Thank you
Hello
You can create a Toshiba recovery disc yourself. This disc contains a picture of the factory settings, which means the preinstalled OS (Windows 7) with all the drivers and tools of Toshiba. It's the same parameters that you have started the laptop, the first time.
Also, read the user manual for more information. ;)On the underside of the laptop, you can find a product key that belongs to the preinstalled Windows 7. He touches s an OEM who only works with preinstalled OS.

Satellite L500-1KK - which driver to use?
Hi all!
I noticed that Intel released new drivers for their graphics 4500MHD card, however, is published on the site of Toshiba for my Satellite L500-1KK are older and are never updated as often as those published on the website of Intel, my questions are:
1. is it safe to use the new drivers from Intel for their chipset or should I stick to those published by Toshiba?
2. What are the possible differences between these drivers Intel and Toshiba here? :|Thank you all!
Hello
You see, dude, if everything works do not touch the system with an update of the driver. I always run my laptop with the old drivers and satisfied.
> 1. Is it safe to use the new drivers from Intel for their chipset or should I stick to those published by Toshiba?
Yes, you can use the chipset drivers intel and should not be the concern :)
> Possible differences are there between these drivers Intel and Toshiba?
As I know, they are pretesed by Toshiba.

Satellite L500-1KK - how to the maximum battery time?
Hello
1. it is indicated on the product specifications L500-1kk expected autonomy is about 03:20 Hrs use mobile brand! However, I was using my laptop for almost a year now, the maximum battery time I get is 02:15 Hrs, whenever I load my mobile suit, the battery still bar program shows me this maximum time remaining! I use the default power settings!
2. most intriguing, is that my sister used another laptop, its battery is approximately the same capacity that mine, around 43200 mWh, us both using Windows 7 Ultimate (she 32bits, I, 64-bit version), but its battery time is at least 4.5 Hrs. Why is this, and how I would maximize my battery time!
3. Finally, her laptop is new (4 months, yet battery pro program shows that the battery wear rate is 7%, my laptop is almost a year and it shows a wear rate of 1.3%, I use mostly my laptop while the power is plugged in, unplugged rarely!) Is their an explanation to the different rates of wear?
Thank you
Hello
To be honest, I think a battery about 02:15 hours is good and I think that everything is ok with your laptop. My new Satellite A500 I also only 2.5 hours if I running on battery, sometimes less than 2 hours or less. That s always according to the applications you run.

Well, it s the same you compare two cars with the same ch from different manufactures a car's fuel consumption higher than the other car, even it have the same hp. Why? Well, the different manufacturers using different parts: other tires, gears, weight, dray of air, etc.You can compare two identical notebooks or cars from the manufacturing even to find a problem, but * not * from different manufacturers. ;)

The Satellite L500 doesn t supports Windows XP then you will need to look for other pilot sites.

Maybe that the other user wrote at the entrance of your keyboard language changes. You can change the control panel in a few clicks.
If it doesn't work you should try to connect an external keyboard. So, you can determine whether your keyboard is faulty.

Satellite L500 - 1 Q 9 - update for the display driver
My problem is that I'm looking for new drivers for the ATI Radeon HD 5165. When I install http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonmob_win7-32.aspx # 1, these drivers do not work do not see the results of the work. These drivers seem to be the old http://ce.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?LNG=20&service=CE and some games do not work on them.
Thanks for your help.
Hey,.
Is it really a problem of display driver you need a new version? If you need a new display driver for the games, you must update the first DirectX version and take a look if the game is compatible with your graphics card.
If you can find t a new display driver for Satellite L500 check other specs of the laptop. Other models like the Satellite L650 also have an AMD graphics card and there you should find a newer version. :)

Satellite L500-1KK - upgrade of the memory
Hello
My L500-1kk came with the following memory specifications:
Standard memory: 4 096 (2 048 + 2 048) MB
maximum extension: 8 192 MB
technology: DDR2 RAM (800 MHz)Locations of memory expansion 2 × (1 to configure)
1. now, I need to update my system to 8 GB, because it says that my system has 2 x memory slots, and it is Mo (2 048 + 2 048), does that mean I need to replace the original modules with 4 GB modules?
2 (1 for configure) means? is it an empty space where I can add a 4 GB module?
3. what else do I need to know about adding memory to my system?
Thank you
Hey,.
If you want to switch to 8 GB of RAM, you must remove the two modules of 2 GB (current) and purchase two 4 GB modules.
As you have already written in the memory specifications, you need RAM DDR2 800 MHz.
You can buy new memory modules in an ASP or check you some online stores. Kingston is also good RAM modules.
Interesting information about the upgrade of RAM you will find also in your manual!
