  I put t know which version of Windows 7 you have exactly, but it seems that this Satellite phone is full Windows 7 supported so you get drivers for both versions (32-bit and 64-bit).

  I just upgraded my S300 to Windows 7 (on a larger hard drive) and I noticed that the pilot of the original touchpad no longer works.

  He is originally a problem because I normally choose 'left-handed operation' on the mouse options. Win7 driver allows that "swap button mouse left/right '-making it removes the ability to click by pressing the touchpad (the pilot of"think"the computer uses a standard PS/2 mouse instead of a touchpad). I use 2 other laptops that are configured as 'Left-handed' so don't really want one that works differently.

  Do you know if there is another available driver - or even if there is another way to configure the touchpad by using standard Win7 drivers?

  (Unfortunately I can't access support information on the S300 in the section "My product" page - a "loading" icon follows a ser of tabs, but nothing to charge up).

  I managed to get windows 7 Professional (64 bit), windows update pretty much installed all updates.
  Without any problem, but there are a few things that are not.
  Shortcuts keyboard and track pad mouse drivers. I went on the site of toshiba, and then downloaded and installed the value pack. All drivers worked fine, but I noticed the drivers provided by toshiba for the WiFi card shall provide to 65mbps.

  I left it for a few hours and the speeds fluctuate at all, when I did a system restore and used the original drivers found by windows update that my WiFi connection was between 117 Mbps and 150mbps.
  I don't want to use the toshiba value pack, because it will ruin the wifi drivers, I tried to update the drivers but they would not work.

  Is it possible to have the drivers for the hot key functions and the mouse/trackpad separately?
  I want to use, if not of Toshiba admins can split you the Pack of value so I can install 2 drivers.

  I doubt that this is possible. The VAP is a package that contains various tools and utilities, and the whole package cannot be tapered.

  To be honest I m not very well why the PPV should slow down the Wlan.
  But I have an idea;

  The PPV contains the Toshiba power saver. It allows Vista power management options.
  For example, there is an option of settings of the adapter wireless-> energy saving Mode
  There are four energy saving / performance parameters. If your Wi - Fi connection is unstable or slow, try selecting a higher performance tuning.

  You can also go to-> Wlan card properties Device Manager and there you can find some tabs.
  In an Advanced tab, you can change the setting to get more speed.

• Satellite P300 PSPCCE: Atheros AR9281 wireless network adapter are not all networks

  I have a Satellite P300 PSPCCE with Atheros AR9281 wireless network.

  After a clean install of Windows 7, I can't see wireless networks, unless I connect an Ethernet cable to my wired network card.

  As soon as I take the cable on wireless networks disappear. This computer had Vista and it worked fine there. I tried latest drivers available from Toshiba, but that makes no difference.

  I have tried disabling the wireless and turn market as well with the FN and F8 key and switch on the front. I also tried to uninstall. But it's always the same.

  If someone has had this problem and is there a solution to this?

  To be honest I never did experience even with a WiFi card and I have no idea why the LAN cable affects WLan card functionality, it makes no sense to me!

  First, I recommend that you check the settings of the router and reset if necessary
  In addition, you should go to the s for laptop BIOS settings and set its default value.
  Check the version of the BIOS if newest is available, then an update would be worth a try

  You use the Atheros Wlan configuration tool?
  If this is not the case, try this out!
  It s a configuration tool that could be used instead of owning windows wlan settings

  My Satellite P300 pspcce starts to turn more * on * after I manually dump it * off *.
  This happends in the minute following the judgment.

  I started noticing this after that I installed my wireless card, I turned the wake on lan/wlan function * off * in the Bios. But it does not help...

  Before installation of the Wlan card the computer woke up from his sleep too, but not when it was closed.

  I looked in properties of the Wlan card but I couldn't find any wake-up function.

  Any ideas where to look next?

  As far as I know THAT BIOS includes more options wake up; so I also recommend disabling these options
  Wake on keyboard
  -Battery clock criticism
  - and Wake-up on LAN (but it seems that you have already disabled)

  In addition, the LAN card support a wake on LAN function in the own properties.
  You should check this in the Device Manager-> properties-> Advanced tab LAN card.

  Also, I read that it automatically updates windows could wake the portable computer too. Try to disable the receipt of the update and check if it would improve your situation.

  After a small violin in microfinance on the value, everything worked fine, except the touchpad.  It is installed with a generic PS2 Mouse which means only a slightest touch sent the flying cursor.  I installed the Synaptics drivers, who work except it keeps hanging up.  The computer continues to operate and a USB mouse still works until it wakes up the touch pad.

  Anyone know where to get a driver for the touchpad, difficulty this or other ideas.

  As far as I know, you can change the option of quick start or normal startup.
  Anything else is not possible.

  That last one should have worked because it was the m4-1000 series that has support for W7 and has the same hardware as yours.

  I have a HP ENVY Sleekbook 6-1126sa.  I need to have Windows 7 (not Windows 8). I installed Windows 7 (no UEFI). It's pretty simple. Now I find there is no Windows 7 drivers on the HP support site. HP support site advises to use Windows updates to update drivers or visit the manufacturer's Web site. Problem is I need an Internet connection to run Windows Update but cannot find the Ralink Wireless drivers. Looking for Ralink manufacturers website I find http://www.ralinktech.com/en/ (which States that the Ralink site merged with the Web of MediaTek site and one for pilots redirects to http://www.mediatek.com/_en/07_downloads/01_windows.php). Maybe somebody has an idea which driver I'm supposed to use? Updates of Windows actually work?
