Satellite P750-02 t - 1080 p on a HDMI monitor

Hello

I just bought a Satellite P750/02 t a few weeks previously. Buy a monitor HP 2310e yesterday and using the port HDMI is plugged. I can't get the monitor to work in 1920 x 1080, the screen displays the desktop with 1 cm all around are cropped. Can't see the Start button.

I was of course being that this laptop has 1080 p FullHD support?

Flavio

Hello

Do you use the external monitor like main screen (only one external) or extend the Windows desktop?
I recommend you test with an external monitor only. Also, press FN + F5 until you have an image on an external monitor only and internal is black.

Also connect the monitor before you turn on the laptop and turn on the monitor. Select the appropriate input channel and then turn on the laptop.

I often connect my laptop to the TV using an HDMI cable, but never had any problems. He still works perfectly on 1080 p.

  • Satellite P750: Impossible to install the Bluetooth Stack on Windows 7 (x 64) driver

    Hello.

    I own a * Satellite P750-02 t * (part No. * PSAY3A - T 02 001 *).

    In the order I did:

    (1) I formatted the HARD drive and reinstalled the operating system of * Windows 7 x 64 Ultimate SP1 *.

Then I downloaded * ONLY the BIOS and drivers * of [his downloads page | http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/computers/satellite/p750/psay3a-02t001/download?os=25]:

    (2) I've updated the BIOS for * v1.90* (the laptop came with v1.80)

    (3) I have installed all drivers:
    -LAN and WiFi
    -Chipset Intel latest (available)
-all video drivers (NVIDIA Graphics, Intel HD Graphics and Intel HDMI)
    -Card reader
    -Realtek HD Audio (later)
    -Synaptics Touchpad
    -USB3.0
    -IR
    TV tuner
    However, I * cannot install Bluetooth driver (v8.00.06 (T) *)...

When I run the installation program of the [aforementioned page | http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/computers/satellite/p750/psay3a-02t001/download?os=25] it detects partially *'Bluetooth USB Controller-10 TOSHIBA'* (USB\VID_0930 & PID_0215 & REV_001)
and then the installation freezes simply displaying + "install the Bluetooth driver. Please wait +.' and stay like that forever...

    I also tried to download a driver [another location | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/index.php?page=download-toshiba] for laptops TOSHIBA - v8.00.02 (T):
and followed installation instructions displayed under "Details".
but he had the same result: the installer simply crashes...

Install fix (* KB978258 *) recommended it did not work either - the message "+ update is not applicable to your computer +" appears.
And I understand why - this fix is [already included: http://download.microsoft.com/download/E/B/A/EBA55FE2-373A-4351-9346-6D762B79AA69/Updates%20in%20Win7%20and%20WS08R2%20SP1.xls] in Service Pack 1 for MS Windows 7.

I spent hours searching the Internet for a solution. Although there are some similar cases, none of the recommendations actually worked. I tried to install:
    -WiFi driver before installing the Bluetooth (someone suggested that these two are parts of the same card);
    -Repeat Mode Setup without failure;
-* Toshiba value added package * hoping that somehow these tools will kick in.
    Nothing has worked...

It is interesting to note that when, in the interests of experimentation, I tried to run installation for my generic Bluetooth adapter (using the driver [for non-TOSHIBA notebooks | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/index.php?page=download]) then everything runs smoothly!

    * Using connection Bluetooth on this laptop is absolutely crucial for TI
I hope that I won't get back this beautiful laptop as I know that TOSHIBA is one of the best manufacturers and I am sure, that there is a solution to this problem.

    Thank you very much.
    Evgeny.

You can use the key combination FN + F8 to toggle WLAN?
You can also see BT symbol there?

Before you begin installation battery BT try to activate BT module by using the FN + F8 key combination.

Generally avoid some problem with it. Toshiba BT stack is tested on al models proposed by Toshiba and fireplace installation BT has, in my view, nothing to see what version of Win7 you use.

Do not return this laptop. It has to do is just install drivers, tools and utilities. Please note: BT stack is included in the recovery image so BT must work.

Also, I must say that OS installation of drivers, tools and utilities on Toshiba laptop must / should be installed in the correct order. Many tools can work only and must be installed on basic stuff that can be installed with other specific tools of Toshiba.

Please send a few comments if this FN + F8 will work.

  • Updated by Satellite P750 win7 Win7 ultimate home

I just bought a Satellite P750 (I think 2R) and made the auto install and win 7 Home 64-bit edition has been installed. I use the laptop in a need to join their domain and working network environment. I bought windows 7 ultimate upgrade (64-bit) and I'd like to run it. Will it have upgraded drivers after installation is finished? If yes I would like to have only the downloaded and ready to go.

    > Will it have upgraded drivers after installation is finished?

If you just want to install the Windows 7 home Ultimate version, then you will not need to install the drivers and other software, once again because this upgrade only formats the HARD drive and installs a new copy of windows 7.
You upgrades the Win 7, which means that the data will always be available.

But if you do a clean install of Win 7 ultimate, then you will need to install the drivers and other things (tools and additional software)

Try to extract the exe from another place, not in the temp folder.
In my case, I created a folder on a second partition (D) and have extracted the exe file in this folder. Can go to the Device Manager, and then can install the driver through the Device Manager.
Choose the installation procedure advantage and point to the folder that contains the extracted files.

    With regard to the issue of the BT;
Download the new battery of BT from here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/

Then clean the registry using the CCleaner.
This tool is freeware and can be downloaded on several different pages.
So after cleaning check if you could install new BT of the register stack.

  • Satellite P750 - can I use HDD of Satellite P770?

    Hallo,

I have a Satellite P750-10 t and im looking for a new HARD drive but I don't know what HARD drive I can take.
I found a disk for Satellite P770-12 t and I need to know if I can take it HARD too.

There is not much difference between these drives, maybe just ability but you can use it on your Satellite P750. As far as I know both of them are hard drives with SATA connector.

By the way: If you need a new HARD drive maybe you should think about upgrading with SSD. I can recommend you to do. use of SSD will increase the performance of your laptop and your computer laptop wil run a lot faster.

If you have time to look for info on the SSD on http://storage.toshiba.eu/cms/en/index.html

  • Satellite P750 - 10 c: SSD not so fast--get only 300 MB/s

    Hello

Today, I bought Samsun 840 PRO 128 GB with 390 / 500MB and install in my notebook, but in testing I get only 300 MB/s, why?

Its port SATA III, so I should get this 500 MB like anyone else.

    Hello

To my knowledge, some Satellite P750 series models support two hard drives

I think the HDD1 and HDD2 would be connected to port 0 and 1 and to the data of the two hard drives 600 MB/s (2 x 300 MB/s) flow would be reserved.
I think that in this case even if the laptop would be supports a HARD drive, only 300 MB/s would be possible.

SATA 2 port where ODD is connected would support only 300 MB/s

  • Satellite P750 - 10 c: HARD drive slows down - Sandy Bridge Cougar problem?

    Hello

    I have problem with my notebook Satellite P750 - 10 c with S/N: 4B478828K.
When I enabled AHCI in the BIOS, computer slows diametrically, day after day was worste and worste, so I tried to change from AHCI to IDE and it helped a little, but is still not good.

I tried to restore my system, but it did not help.
I read that Intel has released a version tapped for Sandy Bridge chipset, I have (HM65) SATA 3Gbs problem (I just checked in HD Tune and HARD drive is connected to the port of 3Gbs), so I think I got bugged version.

My laptop is not guaranteed, but Intel said they changed valid version, so where do I return my phone to fix.

    Kind regards
    Tomek

    > I read that Intel launched buggy version of the chipset for Sandy Bridge.
The problem was a Cougar Point of Sandy Bridge chipset and not the main processor Sandy Bridge.

In addition Intel said that this issue affected only the SATA 2 to 5 and not ports 0 and 1.
Most laptops use only two devices SATA (HDD/SSD and ODD) using the affected ports 0 and 1.
That is why I think that your problem could be linked to the issue of Cougar Point the Sandy Bridge chipset.

By the way: not all Intel Sandy Bridge chipsets have been affected.

    Regarding your question:
Usually if AHCI is enabled, the HARD drive must use the performance of SATA. If compatibility mode, the HARD drive would go at the speed of the IDE.
I think your problem is perhaps related to the problem drive HARD and not Intel problem.

  • Satellite P750-135 - key FN and Blu - Ray player does not

OK so recently I've noticed a few problems with my Satellite P750-135 with PSAY3E-059002EN part number.

Not words, the button FN done any work, however when the Toshiba flash card settings are configured to enable the mouse above, the functions that I would normally use, for example FN + ESC to mute or FN + F6 to turn down the brightness, etc., the works of service.

The problem has occurred since the drivers updated by a program on my PC but I can not restore the system to a point where the driver has been updated. I uninstalled the driver and installed the driver from Toshiba Web site and tried countless other things without success. Any help would be appreciated.

As for my second question, a while back I tried to play a Blu - Ray movie on my laptop and it works as it is. The drive plays DVD but when a Blu - Ray drive is inserted, the drive whirs, the AutoPlay window opens with no program to read it.

I have tried opening the Corel to play it, but it does not work.
The drive in question works on my One Xbox and Playstation 3, and I've tried other discs that don't work.

    Any suggestions?

ccYou know that's not easy to say what the problem is here. When you get new notebook with the settings everything works and all the pre-installed drivers, tools and utilities work well together.
Many people install some updates which are not so important, and then something can go in the wrong direction.
    > The problem has occurred for a program on my PC updated drivers...
To be honest I don't know what program do you have average and exactly what has been updated.
In any case you can try to solve this problem of FN keys is to remove preinstalled Toshiba value added package, restart your computer and install the latest version of the Toshiba download page - http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp
Utility of flash cards is part of this package and I hope after installation of VAP own this will work properly again.

    Blu - Ray movie question:
BD BD to play drive before graphic driver will change color and switch to Win7 basic running drive Toshiba BD is not compatible with certain Visual elements. Have you noticed this in the past, this automatic switching between the color schemes?
Did you perhaps updated original display driver Toshiba?
    > I have tried opening the Corel to play it, but it does not work.
The very fact of start or not?
    This is a bit complicated.

  • Re: Lack of 32-bit drivers for Satellite P750

I upgraded my OS from win 7 to 62. ultimate bit to allow the laptop to access my area of work. Now he has so many compatibility problems with 3rd party 64-bit drivers, I have now loaded a win 7 32-bit ultimate operating system.

My problem is that I can't locate anything, (but a bit - 4) download site 32-bit drivers when I go in the Toshiba. I know it was an option when I ran to choose a 32 or 64-bit operating system, but I can only find 64-bit drivers. Can any one point me where (or how) I can locate these 32 bit win 7 drivers for my Satellite P750 (mine is a PSAY3A-02R001).

If the 32-bit drivers are not available on the official support page from Toshiba it's clear that this version of the OS is not supported and you will not be able to locate anything.

All new laptops are available with 64-bit operating systems and, unfortunately, are not supported for 32 bit version.

You can try to install drivers available for older models but I n t think it does not work 100% correctly.
    It s complicated.

  • A few questions on Satellite P750-02

New on the support forums, do not know how to post my system chart etc so sorry if I break all its propriety. I have a Satellite P750-02, and so far he gave me a number of questions. I am running windows 7 x 64.

    (1) on the first day, the desktop gadgets did not work. There is no sidebar that I had seen on other computers, and when I put the gadget, a second copy appears that does not move, or can be clicked. I am not able to change the settings on any gadget either.

    (2) recently I installed some updates via windows update. I was also playing with auslogics boostspeed (an optimizer pc of sorts) so I do not know who caused it. Anyway what happened was the buttons mute / without wire/play/pause and the button that enables / disables the touchpad have been disabled (physical buttons on the laptop, not the screen).

I was able to activate the touchpad power before I connect to the computer and can also toggle with the FN key. However, when I open the Toshiba Button support, all fields are empty. I click on ' default values and I get a message "the specified button registration information has been deleted.". ". I think that this may be the root of the problem.

I tried to use things like the system recovery and my some of the restore points, but this did not help. I tried to install all the latest drivers as well.

    (3) the webcam is aaaatrocious! I have looked everywhere only to find suggestions like 'remove the plastic', 'contrast adjustment' etc. It is much too dark and lack many settings that I thought were standard. Y at - it a patch or an update that resolves this problem of brightness? I saw the other much better webcams under the same conditions. I used to have a usb webcam, I got from aldi for $20, which had many more features and gave a clearer than this webcam image.

Again, sorry if I write this review wrong, but useful at all would be much appreciated!

(> 2) recently I installed some updates via windows update. I was also playing with auslogics boostspeed (an optimizer pc of sorts) so I do not know who caused it. The FN keys are controlled by the Flash Card Support utility you will need to restart this software which is in
All programs-> Toshiba-> Flash memory card Support utility

(> 3) the webcam is aaaatrocious! I have looked everywhere only to find suggestions like 'remove the plastic', 'contrast adjustment' etc. It is much too dark and lack many settings that I thought were standard. I used to have a usb webcam, I got from aldi for $20, which had many more features and gave a clearer than this webcam image.

As far as I know the internal webcam supports Pixcel (1280 x 1024) of 1.3 M resolution and needs a clear and bright lighting. The goal of these internal cams is much smaller than the lens of outdoor cams (even if you buy a webcam 20).

The smallest lens can not detect the same amount of light as a camera with lens more you can see the webcam with cams smartphone behavior even if the webcam would support high resolution (5 M pixels and higher), the goal would be not possible to produce a good image because of the small lens.

  • Satellite P750 - formatting the disk deletes C recovery files?

I own a Toshiba Satellite P750 and I want to install Windows 8 on my laptop, I wonder if the recovery files will be deleted which is what I mean is that after formatting the C drive and install a new OS, I'll be able to restore the laptop to factory settings (the out-of-box state).

After the installation of clean operating system, you will not be able to install the recovery image using HARD drive recovery facility.
You can install the clean version of the OS, but before we do this create recovery disc following the advice and instructions described in manuals s user document.

  • Satellite P750 (PSAY1A) - How update the recovery partition?

Now that I found out that using the recovery on a new HARD drive would create the recovery Partition... comes the question... How do I update the recovery partition.

My Toshiba Satellite P750 (PSAY1A-01Y022) the factory settings has 132 update of Windows that should be applied during the first pass. I had to run Windows update 4 times before she shows "up-to-date". Not to mention drivers Toshiba as well.

I also want to include some applications (Microsoft Office and other software and utilities)...
Overall, I spent 2 days just to bring it t the State I want in.
But I can't just access the recovery Partition (of the less any of this!)

If you look at disk management, the recovery Partition is not a Volume name and that the file system is empty. If I right click on the recovery partition... all I see is "Help" Option

I tried to assign a drive by using Diskpart letter... but it doesn't show much.
My guess is that it is GBT/EUFI.

Does anyone have experience updating the recovery Partition?

    > Now that I found out that using the recovery on a new HARD drive would create the recovery Partition... comes the question... How do I update the recovery partition.

What do you mean by update recovery partition?
The recovery partition should NOT be touched!

In which case you'd change the partition, the HARD drive recovery process could not be started!

Probably, you have not understood the meaning of such a HARD drive recovery procedure.
It's the option provided by Toshiba and the recovery of HARD drive allows you to establish the notebook to factory settings; on the same State as at the first day of the purchase.
