Satellite P755-10N - what RAM is compatible

I have a laptop Toshiba SATELLITE P755-10N and now I want to add some ram memory, but I do not know which will be appropriate. In fact I have Samsun 2x2gb PC3-10700 (667 MHz).

Help, please.

According to the specifications of the laptop you can upgrade your machine up to 8 GB.
4 GB compatible memory modules have the PA3918U-1M4G part number.

You can get two 4 GB modules and share original 2 GB RAM.

I want to upgrade the RAM on this laptop - Toshiba Satellite P755-12F.
    I'm looking for 2 x 4 GB Corsair 1600 Mhz Kingston and 1866 Mhz.
Can anyone tell me for sure if the laptop supports 1866 Mhz or at least 1600 Mhz RAM?

    Thanks in advance

If you want to upgrade RAM don't search for RAM Mhz support but to the compatible RAM modules.

According to Toshiba compatible modules are:

I have Intel Mobile Celeron clocked at 1.6 GHz in my Satellite 1410 714. What are the compatible processors? Please write typ (Celeron or P4 - M), speed, package and sSpec number. I found the processor Mobile Intel Celeron processor 2.20 GHz SL73Y (http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SL73Y) - but I don't know if this CPU will fitt of my Satellite.

    Thank you all :)

    Hello

This notebook should be a little older. Am I wrong?
There are not a lot of information when I try to google for this model of laptop.
But I think I found what you are looking for :D

The motherboard must be compatible with the CPU:

Mobile Intel Celeron processor clocked at 1.6 GHz, 1.7 GHz, 1.8 GHz
Processor speed: 1.6 GHz to 1.45V
The processor bus speed: 133 MHz

Mobile Intel Pentium 4-M 1.7 GHz processor, 1.8 GHz, 1.9 GHz, 2.0 GHz, 2.2 GHz with Enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology
The processor bus speed: 400 MHz

But you know, the faster processor will produce more heat and therefore the temperature rises. This could lead to overheating.

  • Satellite A300D-11 what processors are compatible?

    Hello

I am currently on a Toshiba Satellite A300D 11s with an AMD Athlon TK 57 1900 Mhz CPU.
Please tell me what processors are compatible with this laptop motherboard, and what would be the best option of upgrade? (performance and heat wise management).

    Thank you.

    Hello

CPU holders depends on the chipset and in most of the cases of BIOS support.
As far as I know the laptop A300D-11 supports the chipset AMD M690G (RS690M + SB600 code name) so you can only use AMD processors.
As far as I know the Mobile Athlon XP - M, Mobile Athlon 64, Turion 64, and Sempron Mobile processors would be compatible with this chipset, but there is always a question open about BIOS support.

All this time, since I bought this laptop - I am pleased with him. Two other laptops, I bought over the last two years, were different from Toshiba, just in case
port USB type, but none of the Dell could beat performance of Toshiba.

Last month, in my Toshiba laptop, a SODIMM 512 MB PC2100 DDR SDRAM chip grilled and is broken down. I just can't find this type of RAM in the retail and online stores.

Where to buy, to replace him.
What should I do? What can I do? I got into the habit of my Toshiba already and can't get along without him.

Need me an another 512 MB of RAM.
    Everything else - satisfies me.
Really, truly yours, with kind regards and best wishes.

I am wanting to improve the memory of 256 to 2048MB.
What I understand to be maximally.

How can I know what is compatible and where should I buy from?
    Thanks in advance.

Also I m having problems connecting to wireless internet; It connects to the wireless modem, but will not allow you online!
And with wireless heaven that she would accept the code?

    Any ideas?
    scorpiolfd

Yes, the 2 GB of RAM is the maximum possible.
You can use PC2100 DDR - RAM RAM modules for the upgrade.

Usually, it's not really important what make is. It is important that the module uses the straight plug.
But if you do not want to hear my personal opinion; I recommend the modules from Kingston.

On the question of WLan, you should check your other thread:

So what I want to know it the right choice, what type, I need and where can I find it?
    Is it difficult to do?

I'm not a pro but I thought that it might be a guide?
Could someone put me on any help would be good.

    Thanks heaps

    > I'm not a pro but I thought that it might be a guide?
    > Could someone put me on any help would be good.

I remember that Toshiba manuals contain line very nice guide and photo on RAM upgrade.
Download one of the Satellite A200 series user manual and check the instruction.
The manual can be downloaded from the homepage of the European support of Toshiba.

PS: in most cases, the RAM slots are placed at the bottom of the unit. The slot is secured by a screw and if you remove so you should be able to access slots.

    See you soon

  • Satellite A30-414: what processors are compatible?

Hello, I have a satellite a30-414 without the central unit and I don't know which cpu is able to use.
    Is the socket 478? 479?
    Should I use a P4M 2.4 Ghz or I can also use a P4M 2.0 as the SL6CL or 1.6 as the SL5YU?

    Thank you all.

    Hello

I studied in the net for details A30 and it seems that the following processors could be compatible.

Intel Celeron CPU up to 2.8 GHz (without HTT)
Intel Pentium 4 (NW) CPU up to 3.06 GHz (without HTT)
Intel Pentium 4 (NW) CPU to 3.2 GHz (with HTT)
CPU Intel Pentium 4 (Prescott) up to 3.46 GHz (with HTT)

But to my knowledge the Toshiba doesn't support any replacement of the CPU. That's why you get no guarantees that the laptop will only work stable after replacing the CPU.
You should consider overheating problems after upgrade CPU. The fact is that faster CPUS produce more heat and therefore increase the temperature.

  • Satellite A50-522: what drives are compatible

    Hello

I have the following problem, could someone help me thank you
I have a toshiba satellite a50-522 and the hard drive seems to be dead

While I was looking to replace.
So here's the question; Where can I find a list of the compatible HDD with the laptop?

    Thank you

    Hello

To my knowledge, Toshiba provides official information on hard drives compatible.
But don t worry buddy. I think I could help a bit.
Always is that the Satellite A50 was delivered with the 40 GB drive HARD IDE (ATA-6)
Therefore, you need to use hard drives that support the IDE!
The SATA drives are not compatible!

Now a few words about the size of the HARD drive. Laptops BIOS supports a HARD drive size limitation and not all HARD drive sizes are supported. But I think 60 or 80 GB would be compatible so just testing everything.

    Best regards
