  Hi all

  I am looking for one SSD hard drive.
  Problem is the documentation does not specify whether the system is Sata 3 GB or 6 GB.
  I understand that if I buy a 6 GB SSD and the system supports only 3 GB, there is work, but I would rather try to localize "cheaper" 3 Gb SSD if the system supports up to that speed.

  Look under the hood, the current HARD drive is a SATA 3 Gb.
  Any of you know?

  You could easily find what SATA controller not Satellite C850-1E7 support.
  Different hardware diagnostic tools she will provide you with details.

  Open Office is an excellent free office program and in contrast to Microsoft Office Home and Student which is only for domestic use and costs about $130 Open Office can be used for commercial purposes also.

  If you download Open Office and take the time to learn it and set the parameters correctly it is Microsoft Office compatible.

  You also have the Windows log on your computer, so one with Vista can also read files (notes) you send them and you can export Windows Journal files like (* mht, * mhtml) files that can be read on XP.

  To my knowledge, there is no a compatibility chart.
  The laptop supports the interface and common SATA controller.
  So you can use any 2.5 SATA SSD drive
  It should be compatible in some cases the drive manufacturers SSD also provides an update of the firmware if a compatibility issue would appear.

  Well, I think that it should be possible to upgrade the memory to 2 GB (2x1024Mo)
  I also found a site of memory module very useful:

  The 8 MB bug was fixed last summer with an update of the firmware. However, it would be cheaper and you get a faster player if you just ordered a 7mm M4 Crucial and installed yourself. You can get this drive for about $210 shipped on Amazon. Simply create the recovery DVD discs set before installing the SSD drive and use it to restore the stock OS once the SSD is installed. I would also order the UltraBay HDD adapter so that you can put the stock HARD drive in the UltraBay slot. This is useful to keep weekly backups of the SSD on using the software of rescue & recovery came with the laptop.

  I guess that the BIOS of 64 bit Vista would be the best choice for Windows 7 64 bit. The other version of BIOS on the Toshiba site seems to be for 32 bit OS, so you can choose the 64-bit version of Vista.

  I think that this is not possible because for Satellite A200 there is no 3G card.
  The laptop does not support 3G cards.

  I think that it s not possible to use the IrDA remote control window to receive files or data.
  I wonder how it should work if you don t have IrDA options in Control Panel.

  If this option is not available in the Control Panel, you cannot activate the IrDA and you can't assign a download or download the IrDA connection. So in my opinion you can't use it as a connection port.

  Sorry, but A200GE is unclear to me. Can you please check the description of the model, and after the right.

  On the label located on the lower part you can see this number PAXXX. It is recommended to use the drivers listed for the model you own. WXP on laptops Vista is not optimized and best you can do is to only use the drivers for your laptop.
