  Hello. Suddenly, my USB mouse doesn't work on my satellite pro A200-1F9 laptop. I had this same problem on my Linux (Ubuntu Feisty) for the last week or two, but today was the first time that the mouse no longer works in Windows. Ideas for what's gone wrong? (If I boot Linux with the attached mouse, I get an error message when loading upward.) The mouse does not work it is logged at startup or I plug it later).

  In my opinion, you should test the USB feature. If you are 100% sure that the USB ports are working well check your mouse or try to use the other.

  I have a Toshiba Satelite L850-1kt windows 8.1 and today my webcam no longer works.

  In Device Manager, my webcam is listed only when the hidden devices is selected, the Properties tab shows that the unit is unplugged, although it is not disconnected because it is built in webcam.

  Check the Device Manager.  Click Start and right-click computer.  -> Device Manager, click Properties.  Look under imaging devices.  Right-click the entry for your webcam and click on properties.  If it is disabled, you can activate it if there is no lack of material.  Also check to see if there is one? or! by the entrance.  If so, you need to download a new copy of the driver and reinstall.

  As far as I know that not all mobile A200 were shipped with this function called TouchPad/Dual Mode Pad touchpad

  The dual-mode tablet buttons provide many different functions such as:

  1.) button to -> it toggle cursor mode and the mode button.
  When you switch the button mode button flashes blue and the mouse does not work

  (2.)-> volume button increases or decreases the volume of the speakers and headphones

  (3.)-> e-mail button starts you mailbox to receive and send emails

  4.) button ConfigFree -> starts the ConfigFree tool

  5.)-> Windows Vista Photo Gallery button starts the Windows Vista Photo Gallery

  The other three buttons to the bottom of the trim can be configured with different functions.

• Satellite L850 - HD Webcam does not work

  Hi, I tried to get my webcam to work, but apparently not, I had a glance online but does not, so you are my last chance before you give up and buy an external one to send back to you. I'll try to give you as much information as possible.

  I've had this laptop since 21 August, I bought from PC World. It's a L850 Satellite with Windows 7 64-bit

  Initially, the webcam has functioned well, everything was great and I thought it was great.

  Then all of a sudden a few weeks, he just stopped. I had a small notification in the bottom left of my screen that says "USB device not recognized", Uh oh. After pressing the Start button, it loads and asks if I am sure I want the program to make changes to my computer. I press Yes, but then nothing apparent happens. I expected a "drivers installed correctly" or something, but nothing happened, and the problem does not go far. I don't know if it was supposed to be anything, but eh. I downloaded a program called DevManView which allowed me to see all the features that were already on the laptop. My "Toshiba Web Camera - HD" was among them, so I took a peek at the properties. He said "disabled: no, connected: No. I came to the conclusion that it is connected, but for some reason my laptop any works just simply can not what it is.." Is there something I can do?

  BIOS - in the BIOS, the webcam is enabled.

  I know there are some other threads on this, but I was hoping that maybe someone has a new idea.  I had my x201T for about a month and need to do a system restore after (yes I did something stupid and I know that it was not very long) and I tried to set up a Skype account and the webcam doesn't work.  It worked until I did the system restore.  I have all the updates.  Is there anyone who can help me?  Thank you.

  Thanks for responding.  I reinstalled the driver (it did not help), but I noticed that there is a usefulness of the built-in camera.  So I downloaded this also, screwed her and now my webcam works fine.  Thanks for the tip.

  I have a cl dv7-1273.  Just changed from Vista Home Premium 64 for Windows 7 64.   Win 7 installed OK.  After you install the pad at the top of the keyboard no longer works in the dialogs like this.  When I entered the numbers here I had to use the keypad.  Keys still work in Word, Excel, Evernote, etc..

  Someone on the forum had the same problem of pad during the upgrade to win 8.  They solved the problem by uninstalling Comcast constant guard.   I removed a constant guard and now my keypad work.  Is there something in constant guard that is in conflict with the keys from HP laptop during upgrade to Win 7 or 8 Win.
