  Why can't click a picture in the mail app and have it launch a photo viewing application. ?

  What you need to do is to go to control panel > programs > by default of the programs > set your default programs. Or search for programs by default, which must raise I have right as well (just start typing on the splash screen or slide from left to right and click on the search button). Go to the photos and select set this program as default. This fixed it for me.

  Then open your address book by default to the Group wanted all members of the Group and select copy to Clipboard (Ctrl + A select all, Ctrl + C copy them into the Clipboard).  Then open the "autonomous" WAB file and paste the contacts in that file (you will need to press Enter each entry, but it beats tapping OK), and then copy the wab file to a floppy disk or export it as a CSV file.  Otherwise, folders and groups neither import nor export.

  I am running XP Home Edition SP3 and just received my photo of my football photos drive two sons. The photos are burned on a DVD-R. This disc opens on another laptop running Vista but not on my own XP parents. I can open any other CD, DVD, CD - R, CD + R, DVD - Rr, DVD + R, but not this one. It gives me just this error message; Windows cannot read this disk. The disc's might be corrupted or it could be in a form that is not compatible with windows. I know that this disk is not corrupted, because I have it open on his laptop, but not on a XP computer. Thanks for any help!

• trying to copy a file that had been opened on another computer and get "invalid MS-DOS function".

  With a flash drive, I took a document to another computer with a version of Excel, I had never seen.  I then brought the document to my own computer, opened it and was missing the lines and columns headers.  I also tried to copy the file to my CD - RW and the message "invalid MS-DOS function".

  I think that you had better know what was the Excel program. and say to the people in the Forums of Excel when you repost here...

  I have a laptop and my desktop, when I open my email on my lap top that the email still goes to my office as if it had never been opened.  I pay for this duplication and how to stop it I use x.p on my laptop and my office 2000

  1. You are not being charged to receive messages on both machines.
  2. You use XP and Win2K but arise in a forum of Vista.
  3. You didn't say what email program you use.

  If you use Outlook Express, I'd say do it on both machines.

  Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced - uncheck: leave a copy of messages on the server.

• Files created on a computer does not open on another computer.

  I use PremierePro to school, on my PC and at home on my Mac.  I recorded a .prproj to school file and tried to open it at home.  I get a message that the project has been saved on a new version of Premiere Pro can cannot be opened.  My school and home versions, when you open the application, show the guy with a helmet on his arms spread.  These are not the same versions?

  Problem solved by upgrading creative cloud app first, then update the first application.

  No, I'm not talking about having to first laboriously click each tab, bookmarking them, following the instructions to transfer your Favorites file and them by clicking on each bookmark to reopen your tabs. I wonder about a one click way to save all my tabs and the download on another computer, just like Firefox on opening/closing.

  LR3.6 - can I save info to a raw photo editing so I can show it to someone on another computer? For example, I'm editing the photos and want to show someone on another computer by copying pictures on a USB key and by bringing the reader to the other person's computer. They would then be able to open my photos in LR and see the changes that I made.  Is this possible and if so, how?

  If two people have the same version of LR (i.e., both have LR3), and then select the photos you want, then the file-> export as catalog, be sure to check "Are negative" and point LR into your flash drive. Move these files to the other computer, and in LR, file-> import from catalog.

  When you create a 8.5 x 11 transparent (filled with "none") framework, applying 0.5 pt black STROKE and by setting its x and are coordinated 0, I select framework and get coordinated x 0, y 0, 8.5 in width and height to 11.  Then I save the document, close it and have another user (on another computer with exactly the same hardware/software configuration) to open it.  The coordinates of the image are now coordinated x to-0.0035 in, the y-0.0035 in, 8.5069 in the width and height to in 11,0069.  If I have this user close the document (without changing anything) and I reopen it on my computer, the measures are coordinated x = 0, y = 0, width = 8.5 in. and height = 11 in.  I searched all preferences but impossible to find out what causes that.  Any idea anyone?

  Your friend has "dimensions include STROKE weight" selected and you do not, I think.

  Can I save the image to an image file and then reload the file on another computer for the image processing? What type of image format should I save for it? Is there any loss of image if I do this?   I assume you have the module development VDM and vision acquisition software going TO on your computer.

  So just use playback IMAQ and IMAQ save functions. BMP, png are good for losless save unlike jpg and jpeg2000.
