  You must update to 19.1 (or 19.1.1 for Windows) or 19.2 (lattethe has some problems, then you can start with the former).

  The numbers in the boxes are not random. They are the last move used values. They are kept to be used if you use a Cmd (Ctrl) d, the shortcut to repeat last transformation.

  If you don't want the user to be able to change it and you want according to the value on the current user name, edit the item and:

  1 set the type: display text (State record)

  2 assign the default value: APP_USER

  3. set the default value Type: PL/SQL Expression

  4 - Set the Source: always, replacement of value that exists in session state

  5 set the Source Type: database column

  6. set the value of the Source or the expression to: username

  Standard reports store sort columns with persistence in the sessions in the Preferences of the user. It is likely that Dever user has at some point clicked to sort on the column PK and created a persistent preference. Try it with a new user who has never seen before the page...
