  I got this system delivered to me. I'm new to LabView and just save the data from the table "average voltage" (inside the while loop) to do some additional testing of our product.

  I will like to do similar to this.

  (1) save in excel file.

  (2) save only when a button button and save it then 5 ilteration.

  (3) save and manipulate the data, so it is displayed in 6 columns (each LED 1) instead of 1 long colum.

  I tried different things with structure business T/F, which resolved the buttom-request. But I am in doubt I should use, writing to the file of the measurement or write to us to the worksheet (by using labview 15.0)-delimited according to my offer the best possible?

  He also seems to be too much to handle when I try to write in txt file, because it pops up with and error that I do not know how to fix, but it says this:

  I agree with Taki, but want to make some additional remarks:

  • LabVIEW is a data flow language.  Think of the "flow" of your data.  You talk about "save only when a key is pressed" and a finite set of data.  You are collecting before the press the button and everything just do not save?
  • Data are collected at some rate, and likely, you don't want to "Miss" data points.  This means that you shouldn't do anything in the loop of the Collection that takes a long time.  If your recovery rate is low and your treatment is fast, you can have everything in a single loop.  Otherwise, to use the technical stream (producer/consumer is a good) to process the data in a single loop in parallel with the collection in a loop independent (and asynchronously).
  • How do you write your data?  You want to write "on the fly", as it is, or can you wait, collect everything, any format and then write it "all at once"?
  • What do you mean by 'save the file in Excel?  Do you mean a 'native' Excel file, one with the extension .xls or .xlsx?  Do you mean a Comma-Separated Variable (.csv) file this reading peut of Excel (and, indeed, usually registers itself to read, change the icon of the .csv files to "look like" it is really an Excel file)?  If the first case, I recommend using the report generation tool.  But for the latter, you can also use write delimited spreadsheet, which can be easier to use.

• PCI-6110 continuous data

  I am trying to take data continuously from 4 channels maximum 5Msamples per second and writes at the same time as the data on the drive using the TDMS writer.   I use daqmx LabVIEW tools to read and write data.  I get failry good flow, but it is not completely continuous.

  1 is it possible in Labview?

  2. is it possible with NIScope?  NIScope is at all related to labview?

  I'm not an expert DAQmx, but it is a fairly common use case covered by the API. You can configure DAQmx so that when the data are collected, it is written as efficiently on the disk. You can do it for a continuous data stream. You can find an example of this here (and more examples using the LabVIEW example Locator: Help-> find examples...):

  This VI uses the data at the level, so you will want to choose not adjusted I16 data for the type of output to the maximum speed.

  Alternatively, you can use a producer/consumer architecture, acquire data in a loop and it continuously to the PDM in another. It is essentially this as the example above, but much easier and more quickly, because it involves fewer copies of data.

• I32 flipping index iteration continuous data acquisition

  I'm doing some continuous data streaming with Labview FPGA and periodically generate a trigger signal

  the timestamp after a number fixed iterations.

  The strategy I would try was to review the iteration index in the timed loop and whenever he tipped a fixed number I would generate a trigger of the FPGA.

  I tried to find out what happens when you get to 0x7FFFFFFF samples on the register of I32 and apparently

  the index does not roll... It just remains to count max once reached it.

  Is there a way to derail the index on a timed loop? Otherwise I wil just add another

  U32 variable and increment it each cycle and let it roll on.

  the iteration count does not roll.  Therefore at this historic moment, but just use a registry node, local or feedback shift instead.

  Hi, I have problem with my block diagram. I plan to display data (from temperature probe NICrNi) of several channels and memorizing the data in csv and tiara permanently file. Now the problem is how to say continuous data 2D (double data types)? because the result of the measurement are very unstable... I try using the function means PtByPt VI but she need to double entry of data types... Are so there is another way to describe the data? for example I need an average of data for every 20 samples.

  I've just updated to 12.4.0.119 and can no longer add Release Date for a TV show.  When I go to "Get Info" and type the release Date, it allows me to enter a valid date, but as soon as I have the label off the field it emerges by itself.  If I enter the date and click on 'Ok', the date is not recorded.

  I had this same problem Windows 10. Just tested it on iTunes/Mac 12.4.0.119 - this platform will not yet you allow to select the release Date field to make an entry.

  It is a major issue, as AppleTV allow no sorting replacing television programs other than by Release Date.

  I want to make an acquisition of continuous data with a NEITHER-6133 @ 1ms per channel. The data must be stored on hard disk. At the same time, I want to take excerpts from acquisition to calculate different values. The acquisition of the extract must be triggert by an external digital trigger.  Are there examples, which combine continuous data collection and collection excerpts?

  Thanks to the support of NOR-Germany, I found a solution for me:

  1.) continuous trigger switch

  Connect 2) the trigger for the signal to a digital i/o

  3.) synchronize AI and DIO

  Excerpt 4.) the samples needed by the search within the digital waveform pattern

  Result:

  The example shows 4 IA channels Cup (tested on Win7, NI PCI-6115, 4 channels each 5. MECH / s) and calculation on extracts from each channel signal triggered parts.

  Dell Inspiron 1525 using the update is stuck on 3/3 and a loop continuously with 0% of update to the stop and then restarts on update mode

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  If the above does not work, try to make a Bootable ERD to do a Startup Repair:

  As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.

  As your grave in the category above, download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.

  Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.

• Write delay failed unable to save all the data for the file $Mft

  Have a frustrating problem.  Help is greatly appreciated.  Learned the hard way and lost a dwg important issue which was unrecoverable.  Bought a new drive external hard seagate.  Could not back up the entire system with software pre-installed.  Download acronis true image home 2011.  Tried to backup system.  Receive error when trying to backup messages; 'Delay to failure of Scripture; Reading of the sector; Windows was unable to save all the data for the file $Mft. The data has been lost.  Have tried many fixes.  Unable to disable write caching method (grayed out / unclickable).  Played regedit 'EnableOplocks' is not listed to select.  Attempted to run microsoft 'fix it' and got the blue screen of death.  Short hair out of my head.  Suggestions appreciated.

  I don't know where Microsoft 'Technical support engineers' get their information.

  Write caching without a doubt "does apply to external hard drives", but it is usually disabled to prevent to sort the problem you are experiencing.

  I've seen several positions reporting to the same question that you do.  All of these positions were with SATA drives.  Is your Seagate eSATA drive?

  The disc is recognized as an external drive in Device Manager?  In Device Manager, go to the drive properties dialog box and click the policies tab.  An external drive should have two options: "Optimize for quick removal" and "Optimize for performance".  An internal hard drive shows the options as gray (with 'performance' selected), but there should also be a checkbox "Enable disk write cache" under the second option.

  What shows in your policies tab?

  If I understand correctly, "writeback" or "write behind" is implemented by disc material or its pilot.  If the option is not available on the drive properties > policies tab, I would suggest to contact Seagate support.

  I don't understand. What makes you think the reader 'is not compatible' with Windows 7? Windows (or any other OS besides) sees no external hard drives as "compatible" or not...

  We can e-mail through the form xml data file without its extension drive. It is very good. Instead of emailing, I want just to save the xml data file in my local system.

  The best you can do is set up a submitForm action and uses a type mailto URL. This will prompt the user to attach to an e-mail message using their email client or save it to a file.
