  Do you have the document through EchoSign esign? In the affirmative, then, once you have completed the document, at the bottom, there is a button "Click to sign" in blue color. If you are not able to see, I would recommend to reopen the document or try another browser.

  You want to allow someone to open your document and fill in the form (the fields that you have created), but not change or edit the form, right? Here is the answer - assuming you use Acrobat Pro and someone will open the PDF with the Acrobat Reader 9 minimum and more:

  Tools > Protection > encrypt< encrypt="" with="">

  Select YES to change security.

  Opens in a new window:

  Do not select NOT open the Document (or will require a password to open the document.)

  SELECT: Permissions (check the box next to ' Restrict editing and printing of the document. ")

  Change the following 2 settings in the drop-down list box:

  Printing allowed: select high resolution

  Changes allowed: select commenting on, fill in the fields on the form and signature of signature fields
  Selected leave: "enable access text for playback devices to screen for people with visual impairments.

  Change password Permissions (insert a password)

  Leave all the other settings alone in 'Options '.

  OK - OK

  Again enter the Permissions password (the one you entered above)

  OK - OK

  Save the PDF file to apply security [notice that (SECURED0 will appear after the title of the document]

  No matter how you have configured the Send button when you use the feature distribute the form. There are some e-mail address is in your identity preferences (Edit > preferences > identity) and use it. If you can change the email address it or not to use distribute the form and the button send the value you want.

  One thing that happens when you use the feature to distribute the form is the form is enabled Reader, you can do separately, but you really shouldn't do if the form must be used by others. The dispenser a form must activate using their copy under license of Acrobat Reader.

  You can add the right to drive Extesnion to save the form with the data locally in two different ways.

  1. in Acrobat Pro allows to open the screen and under the guise of Advanced/extend in Adobe Reader will guide you through a wizard. Once the wixard is finished, save the file and use that one. This technique is limited to 500 users per license.

  2 LiveCycle Reader Extensions Server has a User Interface that best you select the rights you want. There are no imitations luser to this option.

  If you do not have to either option 1 is much simpler. You can download a trial version of Acrobat Pro and try it out.

  Tried searching using different sentences on how to accomplish this task, but not had much luck.

  I created a form in Acrobat Pro XI, that contains various fields entered by the user.  I have activated the form allow Reader users back up their data.  Ideally I'd like a button on a form that allows the user to automatically save the form using the information of one of the fields.

  For example, only one of the fields is named OrderID.

  The user has entered a value "12345" in the OrderID field.

  I would like to create a button (or other) that records the current form as "12345_Widgets.pdf".

  Is it still possible?

  Otherwise, any other suggestions?

  Edit: for what it's worth, I don't know how to create a button that will save money, allowing the user to enter a name.  Guess that would be my backup plan.

  Auto-fill text fields is inactivated.  I have acrobat Pro XI / Win764bit. I can't find anything useful in the German speaking forums (there you will find only: save it on your desktop, open the with another program - not adobe, save it as a .jpg, use the preview and save/print pdf, open with photo shop and so forth but nothing works.)

  Is there a chance that the application overview on Mac has been used to complete and save the form? What you describe is a typical sign that it was like overview corrupts PDF forms in a number of ways. You can fix this in Acrobat if you have access to a blank form uncorrupted by exporting the form with FDF data and important in the blank form.

  How I underdstand procedure with Acrobat Pro DC, it's that I first have to distribute the form.  The client cannot save the form, unless I do it, and then I send the form distributed to the customer.  On the side of the user, I think it will confuse most of the clients that I work with

  There are two ways of submitting the form by e-mail without using Adobe distribution methods and each method has some problems.

  The easiest way is to create a 'normal send button' and set the URL of submit button to point to an email address as "mailto:you[at]domain.com". You need to enable rights of use on the PDF file in order to receive all of the PDF document in your Inbox; because Adobe Reader users are limited to show only data formats (FDF, XFDF and XDP, XML, HTML) only. This method is very reliable; because submission will fail if end-users have not properly installing the software side mail client by default, or if they use the webmail.

  The most reliable method is to define the button submit to point to a script on the side of server such as ASP.net or PHP; because the script bypasses software email client-side and sends the request through a SMTP server. Both methods require that the end-users to submit using Adobe Reader or Adobe Reader browser plug-in. Integrated PDF by default "spectators" of the browser are not able to submit PDF forms, they may not read rights of use of Adobe, and they are not compatible with LiveCycle XFA forms.

  I guess that you upgraded to IE9 and you want to use the AutoComplete feature.

  Press ALT + T and choose Internet Options. Box, click the content tab, and then click the settings button in the AutoComplete section. You can select the features you want to use, and then press OK.

  I guess I forgot something simple, but when I sent a test of my form (created in version 9) to someone, they could open and select boxes, filler text, etc, but cannot save their results. They received a message that the only way they could save their results was to print the form.   Duplicate the file before completing the form. Find the duplicate.

  To duplicate a file, click on the... (top right). Choose the selection command. Select the file to reproduce. Click the 4th icon from left to right at the bottom, choose duplicate.

• Save the forms editable on MAC - once saved problems cannot see the text when you click in the fields

  Using Acrobat 9 Pro, I created an editable PDF form that can be saved/printed using the reader.

  My clients can fill out the forms without problem, but when they save them and send back them to be transformed, the information they typed are no longer visible. You can view the information typed If you physically click in each field individually, but it does not automatically appear as I want to.

  It doesn't seem to be a problem with the clients using a Mac. Does make a difference if he clicks on SAVE or SAVE as?

  Can someone share with me the best way to save a form before clicking on a button that opens a popup window? I have a button on a form that opens a pop-up window with a form. Once a user enters data into the context menu, the information is saved, the popup closes and the parent page is reloaded to display the newly added area of report data. B/c that each parent page refresh, any changes the user made before clicking on the button to open the pop-up window is erased once the pages are reloaded.
  
  I currently have a button with a redirect to URL in option ("javascript:openPopup(&FACID.)"). The first function opens a new window (for a fraction of a second), and then a doSubmit ('SAVE') to save the parent page, and then put the focus on the pop up window. This works, but there are a lot of flicker of the page I want to avoid.
  
  Is there a "smoother" way to perform these steps? I understand that the parent page should be provided so that the data is saved, but it doesn't have a difference if I call the doSubmit('SAVE') before opening the pop-up window (in the function openPopup)... I always get the same results.
  
  I have it working now, but I was wondering if anyone knew a better way to do this.

  OK - code 'opener.location.href... '. ' may be replaced by 'opener.doSubmit ('SAVE'); "because that should trigger the normal submit on the home page.
