  I found a solution that works for me (did not find any downside to date)

  Original, I have these files:

  c:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2010\LabVIEW.exe

  c:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2011\LabVIEW.exe

  and the labview.ini file.

  I renamed the file as:

  c:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2010\LabVIEW_2010.exe

  c:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2010\LabVIEW_2010.ini

  and

  c:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2011\LabVIEW_2011.exe

  c:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2011\LabVIEW_2011.ini

  Now the MRU distinguish two different names to EXE and it works perfectly so far...

  Hi Akush, when you install 7 - zip, make itself the default application to open .zip and .rar files. So if you double click on the .rar file, it should open in 7 - zip. If you prefer to decompress immediately, right click the file and look for new 7 - zip items in the menu. I can't think of a way to do this automatically, however.

  I thought about it! I kept scratching my head... whenever I tried to update, move or save a new bookmark, it moved very, very slowly. Sometimes, if I waited long enough, he would perform the action I wanted. But if I tried to push it along, it would have hard work (as described in my first post above).   Well first off your laptop will be either using win7 64 bit or win7 32 bit, it cannot use both, and since you're talking about 2 files Program Files then this would indicate the 64-bit version of victory

  If its 64-bit version of victory, the 32-bit programs install in the Program files (x 86) and 64-bit programs installed in the Program Files folder.
