  • Manufacturing of the playlist - e260

I have an E260 v.1 4 GB with a 2GB minisd card.  It is set to MSC usb mode and I want to make the playlists using Winamp 5.  It is the Winamp that works on my pc.  I know to use the files on the drive, not the ones on my pc and winamp playlist must be saved on the drive to the music folder.

My question is, what form should the saved playlist in?  M3U, M3U8 and PLS?  Also, I can make several playlists say some for the song of the player records main (I made several records for various artists) and others for the records of the song on the expansion card.  Are all the playlists that have been parked in the music or they should each go in music / the particular subfolder and how is a repertoire of songs to the expansion card is, my PC sees the card as another letter from removable drive than the sansa player and playlist of the card is also parking in music?

    Thank you.

As long as you have a reader v1 & are in MSC mode, a much easier way to make the palylists is with the free program creator of selections Sanse. Piece of cake!

I use Winamp to create playlists for my e200 series v2 drives and the rocket. It creates a .m3u playlist file that is stored in the MUSIC folder. When you work with a player of v1, .pla's choice playlist format and those stored in the folder SELECTIONS. The Creator program of selections automatically inserts them there.

The nice thing about .pla format lists is that you can combine music from the reader and the card in a single selection. It is easy to do with the creator of selections.

With the format .m3u playlists, the content must come from the source of a memory or the other, not both.

Unfortunately, the playlist Sanse will not work on v2 or Fuze/Clip models.

  • Windows Media Player - how to add files to existing playlist

    Separated from this thread.

They do not speak a playlist of "unregistered". They mean that they already have a saved playlist and want to add, where the term "existing reading list." I'm having the same problem, and it's a real pain. I just want to add some songs more to a list that I've saved, but it let me just remove or create a new playlist. It wont let me not just drag the new songs on the list, which would be just way too easy, I guess. This is totally ridiculous.

    Jessi - hi...

You should definitely be able to add new songs to an existing selection. I guess that you are talking to a WMP playlist you are and in Windows 7, as with the original post?

It may be you just not enough go about it good sense... for example have you tried selecting a song you want to add, then right - click on it? You should see the option "add to" and when you hover over which another box showing your playlists - you can make the selection from there. You should also be able to drag and drop in an existing list, but for this it must be open in the "now playing" pane on the right - click here to read the list you want to add to... then you can navigate back to the track that you want to add and drag it through. You will be prompted to "save changes" when you leave.

    I hope this helps... R.

  • How can I print a list of my WMP albums

How can I print a list of my albums from Windows Media Player. Well I understand that WMP will not it directly (like iTunes does or has done), reading the various posts I understand that this is possible. But I can't find a recent post, giving instructions and links I clicked in the previous posts is no longer seem to work.

I look forward to the entry.

    Hello!

It is a way to print a reading list:
    Open Notepad.
Open Windows Media Player and right click of your saved playlist. Choose the open path.  In the left click your saved plays new window list and drag it into the opened Notepad window.

To print a directory list of the folders, I would say you have a look here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321379/en-us

  • Why windows guide media is missing from windows media player using windows 8?

Windows icon is not on my windows media player why not am I missing something? I like listening to the radio stations on the list.

Why was the link to the deleted Media Guide site?  You broke something which worked well - nice work MSFT.

Agree with Elroy - navigate to the "... windowsmedia.com" is simply another stage that was not necessary in the past.

There is a partial solution.  1. go to the wondowsmedia.com site.  2. an internet radio station, click on listen--> WMP should open and start playing the station.  3. in WMP, on the right side, drop down and click "view list".  Must be the name of the radio station.  4 save the Radio station list (will appear in the playlists in the future).  5. While you listen to other stations, you can click with the right button on the station name in the window of the list and add it to your playlist registered.  6. your saved playlist (Internet radio) becomes your link to play directly from WMP.

Again, not a full solution (it cannot browse stations w / in WMP), but if you have some Favorites, above is a way to hear directly from WMP.

  • Get the player starts automatically with Task Scheduler

    Hello

I don't believe this, or a similar one, the question was asked, so I hope I'm not repeating another thread :)

I would like to program iTunes (or potentially any multimedia player) to start playing automatically every morning and mix all my music or a playlist - in other words I don't want to hear a song over and over again.

I tried to implement a task in the Task Scheduler tasks and at the agreed time, the computer sounds like its trying to do something, the blue (instead of the classic mouse pointer) circle appears, but then nothing... though the Scheduler runs the task.

I have a computer Dell laptop, Inspiron and Windows 8... would be great to do this work, any help is appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

This will vary depending on the media player program to use.  But the General method to do this is to set up a scheduled task that starts the program of the media player (.exe file) and also specifies what playlist to play.

With Windows Media Player, it would look like this in the Task Scheduler (you can test the command by pressing on +R and put it in the box run).

    "%ProgramFiles% (x 86) %\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe" /play "c:\users\shawn\music\Playlists\MorningList.wpl".

Note that this entire command on one line (it does not fit everything on this Web page).  Obviously, you'll need to adjust the location of the saved playlist file.

I cancelled iTunes on a Macbook Air, issued by the school.  All my music is stored/saved on my iMac at home.  If I delete the playlists and songs of the Macbook it will affect my master library?

Unless you're 'home sharing', which he does not seem like you are, two libraries (macbook and iMac) are distinct, so a change does not affect the other.  Best way to test would be to remove a few songs you can download easily and see if it changes.  But I don't think it will be a problem.

  • The playlist is saved as wpl but error message when you try to listen.

Have the music files saved in my email as old skool play list.wpl. When I run the file and open it plays the first two songs and then I get the error message.

"Windows Media Player cannot access the file. The file may be in use, you won't have access to the computer on which the file is stored, or your proxy settings are may not be incorrect. "Once the message appears the file who played before at least 10 other files display a red circle and x to the left of the song.

But if I scroll down and click play on another song he plays, but when I try to play the next song on the playlist again error message and the song which just play comes with the x and the red circle. Have tried this on multiple computers that are running Windows 7 and another that runs Windows XP even result. If the file is corrupted, it would play? I have over 500 songs on this playlist and he had already permitted to listen to me a few months ago.

    Hello

    ·         What operating system do you use?

    ·         You try to save the file to your post office and check if it works?

This error may occur for one of the following reasons:
The file is currently in use. Close the file and then try again.

You are not allowed to access the location where the file is stored.

Follow these steps to grant all permissions in the folder where the files are stored:

    a. right click on the folder on the external drive and click Properties.
    (b) in the Properties window, click on Security tab.
    c. now, click Edit and then click Add.
    d. now, type everyone in the box and click OK.
    e. then check the full control box.
    f. click apply and then click OK.

You can also try the mentioned below as follows:

    a. Click Start.
    b. go to the control panel.
    c. Select "SOUND".
    d. double-click speakers.
    e. click on the Advanced tab and then uncheck the enable audio enhancements.

    Kind regards

appear windows media player acountered a problem when creating or saving the playlist

To the WMP library, please click on organize and select manage libraries - music . What places are? If there is no available location, remove them and also make sure that a default save location is set. Do the same for the other libraries (videos, pictures, and Recorded TV).

If this does not help, close WMP, open Windows Explorer, right-click the music library, select Properties and click on restore by default . After that, make sure that a backup location is defined (as indicated by a check mark).

Since last week, I can't create a playlist in WMP 12 on windows 7.  Also cannot rip cd MS has no information about this problem. O.k. worked until last week when the updates have been installed.  Is there a way found to remove WMP 12 and return to WMP 11?  Or should I give up Windows 7 and go back to VISTA?  I did what I got so far, including restoring the computer to an earlier date.  Still does not work right.

  • Windows Media Player has encountered a problem creating or saving the playlist _

can someoene help me I'll create a playlist I hit enter n it jumps upWindows Media Player encountered a problem while creating or save the playlist do - what I do?

This probably means that your media library has been corrupted, so you have to reset it. Note firstly reset the library will make you lose all play counts and ratings too. Then, follow these steps:

    -Restart the PC.

-Click Start, type services.msc in the search field and press ENTER. In Services, locate the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service . If its status is started , double-click the service, and then click stop .
-Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft in the search field and press ENTER. This folder opens in Windows Explorer.
-In this folder, rename the folder Media Player as Old Media Player . If you do not see the folder, then it is probably hidden. Set Explorer to view the hidden files and folders and show protected system files.
-Launch WMP, your library will have been reset and will be rebuilt. Check if the problem persists. Tim Baets

It may be the hardware or the software of the Blu - Ray or maybe a problem between YouTube.com & Blu - Ray... I'm not at home now, but I think mine is model 590...

Later, I can tell you what my Blu - Ray model exactly... GOD willing...

Videos that do not show on the playlist YouTube is a limitation of the YouTube software integrated into readers Blu - ray Sony and Sony TV with Bravia Internet Video function. Currently, there is no solution for this and the temporary work around is to create several playlists with 12 videos each. The meter will display these play several lists, but happens again, as if they were a single list of continuous reading. Once he has exhausted all the videos of the first playlist, it will start automatically play videos in the following list.

It is possible that the playlist of YouTube may not display all the videos available on your device, as the playlist can be different on a computer. Each video has some policy restrictions that may prevent playback of certain countries and on some devices. For example, some videos with advertising will not play on some hardware where ads can not be displayed.
