Saving calls saved as wav or mp3 to 4.05 IPCCX

We have recently upgraded to IPCCX 3.53 to 4.05 and found that our files are not saved in the .raw instead of the format .wav format. Is there a way to configure the system 4.05 for auto save files in .wav or .mp3 format so we don't have to use the translator of codec?

Thank you

Here's a way to convert the files.

c:\Progam files\cisco\desktop\bin\CRSRawtowav.exe

C:\Program Files\Cisco\Desktop\bin>crsraw2wav.exe

Usage: CRSRaw2Wav.exe filename

OPERATION:

-takes a RAW file as parameter (filename) name

-find the matching pair (if "test.from.raw" is passed to the matching pair will

-Converts / merges the two into a file in WAV format with the same base name ('test.from/to.raw' will

go into "test.wav")

-If a WAV file with the same name as one that is about to be generated already

  • play a wav or mp3 import linked to the FLA

I'm totally new to Action Script. If there is a better forum for this answer please with a link for it.
All I want to do is call an imported wav or mp3 sound from the library FLA via Action Script to start playing immediately (or the delay of Autostart by default of 1000 is fine) in the first image. Apparently what follows is only a fraction of the installation that I need in the script to achieve this. (Note: I linked the wav file to export and named the class 'mysound' before you open the Actions window to write the script) I guess I need to define a method...

    mySound.Play (0,1);

(OK, have a good laugh on me, but please point me in the direction-> I can learn fast if I get a hint or two) Thank you!

    Thank you!
I got to play with these two lines after export wav imported into the library as 'mysound '.

    Hello:. var mysound = new mysound();
    channel: SoundChannel = var hello.play ();

It is VERY encouraging. I like simple. Programming object-oriented everything is too easy? Cool.

  • & quot; Convert wav to mp3 & quot;

I used to import files audio mp3 for my slides C3. But when the project is published, one of the identifiers progress said: & quot; convert wav to mp3 & quot;. It is a surprise for me, can you help clarify: C3 change my mp3 to wav and then to mp3? Is this wrong message simply what happens?

There is here an implication that it would be better from audio files in wav format, ' cuz C3 seems to be to manipulate audio files in any case.

    Can anyone help? Thank you!

    Hi there PJ turtle

Maybe you did a montage for what be audio related? If so, that would explain it.

Once I saw the next question here: if I bring one. MP3 in Captivate file, do nothing for her, Captivate does change it when it creates the output?

Honestly, I didn't know the answer to that, so I asked the same question from someone close to the development team. They responded to me by saying that as long as you don't touch the file you imported with the audio editor, Captivate should export back to the. MP3 basically intact.

Personally, given the choice, I would avoid the WAV to MP3 files for this reason.

    See you soon... Rick

  • Sides of WMP not saved in wav files

    Hello

Windows Media Player saves my ratings of mp3 files, but not of wav files. Is there a way to save the wav files sides because most of my music library is wav files and when I reformat I lose all my songs alongside.

    Hello

It may occur if the Windows Media Player settings are corrupt. Run the Windows Media Player settings troubelshooter which fixes the configuration settings.

Follow the steps below and we update on the State of the question.

Method 1: Open the troubleshooter in the Windows Media Player settings. Refer to this link:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/open-the-Windows-Media-Player-settings-Troubleshooter

Method 2: I would recommend you to rebuild the database of Windows Media Player and then check the status of the side shown.

    Here's how:
To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

    a. exit Windows Media Player.
    b. Click Start, run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player and then click OK.
    c. Select all files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.
Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.
    d. restart Windows Media Player.

Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:
    a. exit Windows Media Player.
    b. Click Start, click Run, type % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft and then click OK.
    c. Select the Media Player folder, and then click on Delete on the file menu.
    d. restart Windows Media Player.

If the problem still exists, as a work around you, try to convert WAV files to MP3 and save the notes.

I hope that the above information is useful.

  • Distortion after you convert the wav to mp3 file

    Hello

I work with a sampling frequency .wav file 8 k, 16-bit, mono a Skype conference call that was recorded by the computer. Wav is ACM Microsoft file: Microsoft ADPCM. The audio quality of the original is not optimal, as you can imagine, but when I do my changes and convert to mp3 that sounds horrible. I don't know the technical term for it, but it sounds muffled and distorted - the effect you get when cut you your hand in front of the mouth and the move while speaking. I am at a loss for what to do. Is there a setting I need to change before conversion? I know it's a sampling rate low (I usually work with 44.1 K), which would contribute to the problem?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you.

In a quick test, I was able to get significantly better results with an 8K, 16-bit source conversion to MP3 when you change the MP3 setting to 16 kHz.  In the file > save as dialogue, after selecting the MP3, click on the button 'Edit' next to 'Type of sample' and change the sampling frequency.  The file size was virtually unchanged, but the audio quality has been increased and by looking at the two files in spectral view showed a marked improvement.

Edit: Oops, I answered by e-mail and didn't know that this has been posted on the forum Audition 3.  I suspect the results will be even better with the 3 MP3 encoder - both are by Fraunhofer.  Here were the differences I've seen when writing 8 k 16 K vs.  The resulting file is 29KO in both cases.

  • Convert WAV to MP3 in Windows Media Player

This should be simple, but I can't understand it. I pulled out all my CDs in Windows Media Player, but looks like most of the formats WAV files instead of MP3 files is. How now convert WAV files into MP3 files in Windows Media Player? I heard the WAV files take up more room.

You don't say what version of Windows you are using, so I assume you are using Windows 7.

When you ripped the CDS have located (WMP) format you want by:

    Organize-> Options-> rip music ?

WMP is not intended to be a program of file converter - this is a program of player. If you want MP3s instead of. WAV, you can try to re-rip MP3 CD as the format selection (if that's your problem). Alternatively, there are 3rd party programs converter programs available on the web, but as this isn't something that I always do I'm not able to recommend.

  • Conversion of Wav and mp3 to WMA lossless?

    Hello.

I have been using Windows Media Player 11 on XP Home edition 32 bit and Vista Home Premium 32 and 64-bit. I'm not sure is WMP 12 is different from 11. iTunes converts files...

I can rip cd to mp3, Wav and WMA Lossless. It's ok.

-How can I convert other audio files or screenshots that I made in mp3, Wav, WMA Lossless etc?

Windows Media Player 11 software and Zune does not have an option to convert that I see.

-Is there any software that Microsoft has done or that is third fact which will convert the audio files in WMA Lossless? I would like a good convert.

I have discs vinyls and video tapes that I've captured and digitized. I can make mp3 and Wav files out of them in Nero 6 and I have a production program. But I wanted a WMAL also.

Some sites don't sell or offers mp3 or other compressed files, it is important to be able to record audio files.

    Thank you.

Windows Media Encoder 9 was very useful, I used it
several times but as you know it is obsolete now.

Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 can be worth a try.

  • Copy the captioning of a .wav to .mp3?

    Hello

I was wor King on a presentation in Captivate 8 and have completed just to create all my subtitles.

I worked with my audio .wav files as I said that it was of the best quality. As it comes to the time to publish the presentation, I was invited to use the .mp3 rather than .wav files. Which is very much like the audio is the same, but it doesn't seem to be in any way possible to copy the content of the legends and copy it to a separate file. The seems to be exclusively related to the file it was created in. legends

I tried to export the audio, but who loses the legends in two file formats. When you export the captioning it puts them in a word doc, but I don't see how I can copy it from this doc word on a new audio file (.mp3).

Is there a way to do it, or I'll have to copy and paste, and manage the sequences of a calendar for my presentation together again? I searched online but couldn't find anything similar to this specific situation.

    Thanks in advance.

    BB

No, you can choose the audio settings. The published file mp3, wav not. Reduction in the size of the file will be not big at all if you start with mp3, because second compression will not lead to a large part on the size of the file, but will certainly lead to loss of quality. As I said all assets are compressed to maintain the low file size. Audio settings: choose mono, Dungeon bitrate low etc are much more important than to replace the wav files in the mp3 library.  He didn't check the CP9, but if you import mp3 Captivate allows you to create a this mp3 wav file in the library which is to reverse the situation in a bad way.

Also keep the number of images as low as possible, and then choose a resolution appropriate for the CP project have an impact on the size of the file.

  • During playback of the audio wave or mp3 files or listen to audio on my computer, it is occasionally a few distortions (crackling noise)

  • MP3 to wav - the amount of information you let go

    Hello!

We have scanned 1000 wav files large to 44100, 32-bit, stereo 500 discs vinil and audio cassettes. Then we cut them into smaller parts (songs units per person) and convert these parts directly to MP3 (44100, 16 bit, stereo) batch.

Now, we would like to have these units samller also in wav format (44100, 16 bit, stereo,), not only in mp3 format.

    We have two options to:

    1. to cut again and convert it to source original wav files (44100, 32-bit, stereo) to small wav files (44100, 16 bit, stereo).

    2. If you want to convert to mp3 (44100, 16 bit, stereo) directly to wav in batch (44100, 16 bit, stereo).

We would like to know how much information lose us if we choose the second option instead of the first - convert mp3 to wav? In this particular case, it is much faster and easier!

The main problem is that we cut wav files original (44100, 32-bit, stereo) in a number of smaller units (about 6,000 smaller units) and save the package in the process directly in mp3 format. If you have to cut them again to our original wav files and save them as wav (like mp3) it would take us a couple of weeks!

    Thanks for the reply.

How you lose depends entirely on what rate the MP3 files have been encoded to. If they were musical and encoded files in 128 k MP3 then the loss will be noticeable by most people in a direct comparison. If you have been lucky enough to save them at 192 k or higher, then the differences will be less obvious.

If you want a rough idea of what you lose, it is essentially in the quieter parts which are 'hidden' by more strong adjacent sounds. What is happening is that the quieter sounds are stored at a lower resolution (fewer bits). This gives rise to what we call a 'coding gain", and this is the measure of what determines the final quality. It tends to give a quality "unreal" sort of sounds and is not only pleasant to listen to the very bottom of encoding rates.

If the goal of saving the original in the form of wav files was somehow an attempt to keep a copy of superior quality, which must have - then you have really a re-cutting choices; You have to do. In the contrary case, it there was absolutely no reason to do this exercise in the order that you did it in the first place, was there?

So despite the work, I see No point in doing so from MP3 files in any case, when you have 32-bit original which only require redividing and name.
