Scanned and image pdf Brown and white: unreadable (Acro 8 Pro)

I use Windows XP and Adobe Acrobat 8 professional.  Recently, every time I opened a pdf file that is scanned, or is an image converted, all I get is a white brunette page.  I can't view or edit them at all.  This happened a few months now.  I have no problem with pdf files that are not converted from image formats. I've included a CAP, punctured the issue.

Works fine for me, even to AA5. You must go to the properties (under the Edit menu) and enable the large graphic display.

create a pdf from a scanner does not black and white? Acrobat 9 pro only allows a customized analysis?

    Hi mikes84641121935 ,

Acrobat 9 is not compatible with Windows 10. It may or may not work.

Please refer to this article: Adobe Acrobat required configuration

You can launch the scanner interface by going to the start menu or the control panel.  When you first connect your printer/scanner to your computer via USB or wireless, the scanner driver to install and can scan from its native interface. You can find it in all programs in the Windows Start menu.

By ex. If you have HP Scanner, click Start and type hp scan. Also, you can go to control panel and can run the scan from there function. Hold down the Windows key and then press R on your keyboard, type of control in the run, find dialog box, and click on devices and printers > select your scanner and right-click on it. Try scanning from there and let us know if you are able to do.

In addition, you can try to repair Acrobat installation, launch Acrobat and go to the Help menu > and click on repair Installation, after repair, restart Acrobat and check if you are able to scan.

  • OfficeJet 6700 scan enlarges doc in jpg format. Scan PDF is in black and white

I have a new HP Officejet 6700. My operating system is Mac OS X v8.5.8.

I went to scan a document as a jpg file and it scanned and was recorded in my computer (wireless).

The problem is that all the documents have been enlarged during the process, therefore, only about 1/3 of the document is scanned. How can I reduce the scan so that the entire document (8 "x 10") is visible in the scanned jpg?

Also note that this enlargement is not the case when recording in pdf format, but the analysis is the only black and white, not the color of my document was. The scan jpg, although enlarged, was at least in color. Help! THX.

I have searched the respective preferences in all directions, but may find them. I know that you can copy and print in b & w start with a color document but how it works when printing? Help, please!

Follow the steps below to print using black ink only:

    Hi len,

You can choose "Scan to PDF"? I wonder if the PDF will scan in color. Let me know what happens!

In addition, instead of scanning from the printers of the unit Panel, you scan from the printer software I was alluding in messages earlier? Scan from the software on your PC will give you all of the scan options.

  • Could not watch television and the images are black and white on Qosmio

    Hi, live Saudi Arabia
I have problem with my TV Tuner. When I scan the channel it is find frequency for some channels, but cannot look at them!

also when I try to capture using model-SVIDEO color balck & white that I try to use PAL nothing changed
    And thanks for the help

    Hello

One question; Did you purchse the notebook in your country?

I guess that the black and white image appears on the TV. Am I wrong?
This can happen if the TV doesn t s-video or if the s-video option is not enabled on the TV.

In addition, I would recommend to check the version of the driver installed tuner.
Then go to the page of the Toshiba driver and check the version of the tuner driver.
If the new driver is available, so please download and install on the Qosmio.

  • Photosmart HP 6520: HP 6520 scanning in black and white

    Hello

My HP 6520 scans in color black and white docs.  I read the various messages from others who have similar problems and have downloaded the latest drivers on the Apple site.   When I open the HP utility and navigate to "Scan to computer" and 'Modify tasks analysis' I find the menu only 2 items I can interact with are "Document (PDF)" and "Photo (JPEG).

When I press the button Edit, I get a submenu that I can develop to show the type of device, the presets and exit.  When I select the "show details" button, I get only one bar for me to choose the quality in which items can be scanned.  I don't see the Mode option that should allow me to select Save in both black and white.

Please can you help me with a few tracks here - thanks in advance.

    Hi Waterboy71

I carried out the tasks that you recommended and there is a degree of progress, while getting only not in a fully satisfactory place.

Certainly the HPScan shortcut on the desktop icon will allow the scans for color photos but the documents in PDF format are in black and white.

However, if I take the longest walk around the system, select the printer in the printer options and select scanner in that, a submenu opens and I can propose to scan in color, if its for documents or pictures.

Is not as simple as it used to be, as I didn't have to do that before - maybe it's a result of a system of 'upgrade' somewhere along the way.

    Hello world

For all of you who reported the issue of the Colorizing of images 1-bit don't display correctly in preview modes, team Adobe InDesign recognizes that it is indeed a question in this release ID, and we want to let you know that the team has already identified a fix for this.

Colorization of these images appear correctly in the preview mode of the overprint/change colors/switching proof CMYK Preview work. Print to PDF works fine as well. So please continue to use these workarounds until put us the fix at your disposal.

  • InDesign - type display images appear black and white and grainy

Please help! I have scoured the internet looking for a solution to this problem for many years and were generally able to work around it so far.

A bit of background first: all the images are recorded as a dish, .eps, CMYK, 300 dpi (about 6 inches square), with clipping paths. All images are created from the same Photoshop file (working model) - photo of a single bucket on a white background, with an existing clipping path. Illustrator illustration is placed in this file and distorted to create images for the various products that we manufacture. (Rather than photograph each bucket with a tag on it).

    Issue 1:

What seems to be completely random, sometimes square or re-related images in InDesign appear black and white dotted with images (typical display). I used to get frustrated with it, but since I couldn't find a solution, I usually ignore it because the "high quality screen" works very well.

Two of these buckets below have been created since the same file photoshop, the same day, saved in the same way. The two shown here in typical display.

    Screen Shot 2015-11-17 at 11.54.26 AM.png

Even buckets again, both the 'high quality screen '.

    Screen Shot 2015-11-17 at 11.54.41 AM.png

    2nd question:

Now, I create a new InDesign "Data sheet" model for our products and each sheet will have 3 buckets shown. Because the buckets are white, I add shadows laid and Interior to create the deep shadows. I want to be able to create a Standard model, given that several designers in our Department are going to access it and when they create a new datasheet, all they need to do is add a link to the photos of the bucket for the new product (which will be created from the photoshop, existing model) and drop shadow/inner shadows everything remain the same.

On the images that become black and white grainy (3085 above), the effects are applied to the colored areas of the buckets, no not the path of clipped bucket.

This screenshot below shows two buckets to high quality screen. I've selected two images and try to apply the same exact shadow, but as you can see on the left is almost ghost image of bucket. The two images have the exact same clipping on them. Help, please!

    Screen Shot 2015-11-17 at 11.55.34 AM.png

SPE is no longer recommended for use with InDesign format. Because these files have some content vector and raster, save it as a Photoshop PDF and see if it helps.

  • Color s black and white PDF conversion

I bought a scanner at high speed and converted a ton of documents in PDF format, using the color as my default mode. I then learned that PDF in black and white have a much smaller size, so I want to convert the majority of my PDF that don't have no color in black and white images.

I use Adobe XI and learned the following process:

Tools > print > convert colors...

Gray = Gramma 2.2 conversion profile

    Convert Options = Preserve black

Who converted to grayscale. Then, I got another routine to convert it to black and white. The problem is the size of the file is larger than the original.

I read something about a PDF Optimizer which can reduce the file size, but I can't find it; It may not be part of the XI Acrobat?

In any case, can someone tell me the easiest way to convert a color PDF in black and white, with a reasonable file size?

    Thank you.

You can check for a preflight check routine to perform the conversion. Are usually B & W not so good that you will want to probably, unless you have simple text. In fact, in this case you want to do an OCR recognition or text with editable text (not available).

One of the key factors are to use Save under when you perform the process. Save does not remove old information.
